Security Rating: Maximum

  1. Astral Wardens: Ethereal guardians tasked with protecting the Warspite from intruders and malevolent entities that seek to disrupt its sacred duty. These spectral sentinels patrol the corridors of the ship, their presence should be a deterrent to those who would dare to challenge its sanctity.

Powered by arcane energies and ancient rituals, these shields will attempt to repel any unauthorized entry attempts and provide an additional layer of defense against hostile forces.
  3. Interdimensional Sensors: Advanced sensor arrays capable of detecting disturbances in the fabric of reality and alerting the crew to potential threats. These sensors scan the surrounding astral planes for signs of intrusion, allowing the crew to respond swiftly and decisively to any incursions.
  4. Soulbound Defenses: Mystical wards and enchantments woven into the very fabric of the ship, safeguarding it from supernatural threats and curses. These ancient protections ensure that the Warspite remains impervious to the machinations of dark forces that lurk in the shadows of the astral realms.
  5. Warning to the Living: Should a living soul, whose treads of life have not yet been cut find themselves aboard. They’ll be warned to leave, for if they remain for any more than twelve galactic standard hours. They shall be turned into an automated unit, a droid whose function will be to serve the ship for eternity.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Warspite was Fiolette’s flagship long ago during what is now known as the Great Galactic War. It is this ship she remembered in her time in the Netherworld, while she burned, rotted, and burned again. The agonizing experience drove her to seek her way out of the Chaos-forsaken realm. To do so, Fiolette turned to what she knew best, shipwright.

There in the Nether, she had the ship built, piece by piece. It took her nearly forty years to complete it, and when it was done. Fiolette waited for an opportunity to break free from the bonds of hell. Her opportunity arose when the Sith Empire began to send legions of the undead onto Yavin. Each portal opened was another lock undone for the infamous Imperial.

All the while, Fiolette had but two goals and they were to seek retribution for the life of her son, and to reconnect with Taeli. It had been Fiolette’s own decision to leave the woman she loved. It had been a decision she had been willing to live with in life. In the afterlife, however? Where decades turned into an eternity, where time was merely an echo. She had a lot to consider, and think with regard to her actions and her behavior.

She thought about how their love blossomed, and how their union brought together two opposing worlds. How they had navigated the treacherous waters of the Sith Empire’s politicking. The solace they found with one another. Then it was Fiolette all on her own to go off and ruin a beautiful marriage. She had been the one who broke Taeli’s heart.

When that opportunity presented itself, when the Netherworld agreed to let her go. There was a price to be paid, the question of freedom would no longer haunt her soul. A fateful bargain had been struck, for in exchange for her freedom from the Netherworld’s grasp. Fiolette pledged to become the ferryman of the dead, forever bound to the ethereal realm.

The entities there asked Fiolette to give up her heart, the living, beating heart. She refused and said instead of leaving it there in the Nether. She would give it to someone who would keep it. A compromise was struck, the entities agreed that Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf would have the living, beating heart but that Fiolette’s soul would be bound to Warspite. The vessel would be an extension of the Netherworld itself, so that they could always keep Fiolette close.

With a heavy heart, Fiolette paid the ultimate price as her still beating heart was ripped from her chest and in its place, a dark ethereal machine. Her heart would be sealed away behind a unique pendant. Her soul bound to the ship and in doing so, it meant that Fiolette could not be away from the Warspite for long and that she must always return to it.

Worse, she had been informed that any living soul should step aboard. They would become part of the ship’s crew and slowly be turned into a droid whose automated functions would determine their fate for the rest of eternity. Finally, the entities of the Nether gave Fiolette one last condition, a penance they said with cruelty in their voices. Fiolette could never touch Taeli, beyond giving her the pendant in which her heart resides. Of which she was to do 'within a timely manner.' To do so would render the contract null and void, thereby robbing the Admiral of being able to see her beloved as it was the purpose of the bargain to begin with.

Note: This is a set piece, setting, but I am still very much willing to take hits in PvP scenarios.

This is a great sub. There is just one more thing I need you to do before I can approve it.

As per the template requirements under Starship Model:

Starship Model: Provide a link to either a Factory Starship submission, a link to a canon star ship, or, if there is no special technology noted, a starship type. The Codex Location template is not a workaround for the Factory, and a ship with significant technological changes from a canon model will be directed there.

You seem to have missed the hyperlink. Once you get that added I can approve this.

Thanks!
