The Coruscant Rotary Club, or The CRC, is a highly-disciplined and enigmatic group of centralized enterprises run by the worst criminals of the Coruscant Undercity. Under the cover of legitimate businesses, The CRC engages in highly illegal activities for monetary profit and power over the underworld. Typical activities for the CRC include, murder,theft, counterfeiting, racketeering, drug trafficking, cybercrimes, fraud, political corruption, human trafficking, prostitution, forced labor, extortion, money laundering, software pirating, blue Holos, and organ thieving.
Financially backed by secretive sources and some of its leaders own riches, the CRC’s public face is one that smiles down upon the community, serving to help the citizens of Coruscant by providing entertainment, shopping, services, and community outreach programs. One of the crowning glories of the organization is the Cream and the Crop casino, a towering skyscraper that dominates the skyline of the Coruscant Ecumonopolis and serves as a hub for the CRC's main corporate entity, the Coruscant Flower and Funeral Company and its main governing body, the Council of Five.
