Casaline was born on Naboo in the year 58 ABY. As a youngster she enjoyed the life that came with being a noble from Naboo and from the Hapes Consortium. Her family controlled the Hapan world Sivoria and she spend many happy summers there as a child. Casi learned the Force from her aunt Katarine and learned politics from her mother and father. She attended the Royal Academy of Theed growing up.
When Casi was ten years old a dark Jedi cult targeted her family. Her grandmother froze Casi and her parents and her aunt in carbonite to save them from the cult. When the cataclysm of Naboo hit the hibernation chambers were discovered and Casi was rescued. She recovered from hibernation sickness but her parents were put in medically induced comas and are struggling to live. With nobody else to take care of her Casi was forced to join the Jedi so her aunt could watch over her.
