And for those that don't listen to much electronic music, a good place to start for a lot of high-energy songs is Monstercat. SuicideSheep is also good for a lot more chill songs.

As for my favorite electronic music artist, I have to say that I've enjoyed Seven Lions's work since I first heard it.

This is one of the few genres of music i genuinely have always enjoyed.

Funnily and nerdy enough, the League of Legends Composers have done quite well with the new songs designed for DJ Sona skin and they're all free to DL.

Kind of, I guess.

There's like a blurring of metal/rock/electronic all around the drone/noise/ambient area. A lot of purely electronic songs are fairly minimalistic as well.

Music is music. While I don't particularly listen to a lot of drone, there are a few dronish songs that I've enjoyed. If you post high quality/production value stuff, someone will like it.

...sometimes this track makes me tear right up. Yes, I emote. Real shocker. Other names that immediately come to mind are Suicide Commando, Das Ich, Funker Vogt, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Feindflug, Icon of Coil, Combichrist, :wumpscut:, Angelspit, Dioxyde, Hocico, and... yes, Rammstein and Nine Inch Nails.

Otherwise, I tend to venture into drum & bass, and as of late, heavy/really heavy dubstep, deathstep (subset of dubstep), darkstep (subset of Drum & Bass), etc. My absolute favourite DnB is 'The Dungeonmaster's Guide' by Dieselboy:

...note that this is only the first disc. There's a second six-track disc - I have this compilation, both discs, on actual CDs. Dubstep, you'll find me listening more to the likes of xKore, Excision, Downlink, Cyberoptics, Datsik, and Chrispy. Deathstep... I've a liking for a couple of Mantis' deathstep mixes of Suicide Silence tracks, so far.
