    Although Eve's doors are open to nearly anyone in the galaxy regardless of species, sex, creed, or almost anything else, the demographics in the city are relatively homogenous, as the vast majority of its inhabitants fit into the organic humanoid category (>90%). Within that category, however, one can see many different species that come in various heights, colors, shapes, and sizes. Eve does not discriminate among them, and the potential to reach office in the city is not decreed or limited by one's species.

    The remaining less than 10% make up sentient droids, insectoids, avians, and more.

  • Wealth
    Medium-High

    Eve, like the rest of Scintilla, does not really suffer for lack of funds. Many of the Firsts and Heads of Divisions have their own many means if income and serve as investors as well as active part of the ruling circles, and many individuals across the galaxy have poured donations into the city and construct as well. It is not hard to find financially powerful interested people for the place, especially when these are plied with promises of lesser taxes in the future as a result of being liberated from large governments that have a hold on them at present. As such, there is plenty of money to spend on amazing infrastructure, maintenance, and future projects.

    Additionally, Eve offers a lot of work opportunities for various species, as everything needs to be done. While not quite there yet, Discordia is working on making small adjustments to ensure that both Eve and Scintilla will be able to function on their own should all the investors someday decide to pull out. For that, not only are jobs made, but also various types of jobs; from manufacturing, to medicine, to technology, there are only a very few types of jobs that one could not find in this place, and with the pouring in of populations, there are some areas that could use more workers in them, but none are completely and truly lacking.

    The salaries on Eve are the highest among the cities of Scintilla, and offer enough to enable most of the population to take comfortable vacations in other parts of the galaxy here and there. No homes on Eve are owned by individuals – all buildings belong to Discordia (with a certain percentage owned and run by the Coins). However, rent is affordable based on the jobs available, and many people may rest calmly knowing that they will not be removed from their accommodating unless they choose to leave the Agents of Chaos.

  • Stability
    High

    Stability in Eve is incredibly high. A new city that has existed for less than a year, whose new immigrants are very carefully moved into residences based on a plethora of variables that decree where would both be best for them and best for the city, there is no unrest to speak of at present. Indentured servants exist, but up until now are more than happy to serve, as they are there in return for the Agents of Chaos having liberated their planets, and while slaves do exist, they are a tiny population kept to specific private households.

    Crime of the form of mugging, theft, public gunshots, and the such, is nearly nonexistent outside of the Slums area. However, thanks to the Red Line district, a lot of organized crime is run from the city, and some claim that Discordia herself has a hand in it as well, moving funds to and from the Coins to keep certain aspects running both within Agents of Chaos and outside of it.

    Eve is always ready and warm to travelers, with tourist guides ready to take entire groups and show the around the various parts of the 80 kilometer diameter capital city. Wandering around alone is safe as well, and many people and business owners will be more than glad to help lost tourists find their way back to their hotels.

    Local residents describe the overall feeling on Eve as being part of a puzzle that fits well together. There is a harmony that is not quite tangible yet is hard to deny at the same time. There are children playing in the streets, people standing in lines for entertainment buildings, people going to work in the mornings and coming back in the evenings, and smiles to be found everywhere.

  • Freedom & Oppression
    The free people of Eve are at large, beyond satisfied. As Eve is a newly constructed city, none of the locals are actual natives, and have come from far and wide to live here. Many of them chose to come after seeing the Agents of Chaos liberate planets from oppressive conquerors, but there is no lack of population that moved in simply out of curiosity. The people of Eve are free to move around and go about their days as they will, and that combined with the fact that jobs and housing are a-plenty has bred a very free society.

    A second group of the people of Eve are the indentured servants, who were promised to Scintilla in return for planets being freed, but only for a pre-defined number of years. While most of these work menial jobs, the vast majority of them are happy as well to serve a place that ensured their homes and families would be safe, and consider themselves lucky and proud of their jobs. While they enjoy a smaller amount of freedom in their day to day lives and can't quit their jobs unless someone from their planet agrees to replace them, they are still, at large, content.

    The third and last group of people on Eve are the slaves. As per the basic existence of slave, freedom for them is nearly nonexistent, and they are a touch above cattle beast of burden. Yet at the same time, there are many rights that protect them, as well as rights to ensure that they are not abused, have the right to live decent lives, cannot be demeaned as people, and neither them nor parts of their bodies can be traded or sold. At the same time, slaves must be provided for in terms of food, accommodation, clothing, and basic protection. If a slave owner is caught breaking slave rights, they could easily find themselves becoming slaves on their own. Slaves make up less than 1% of the population on Eve and on Scintilla and are mostly a status symbol for the wealthy; people may bring slaves with them when they move here, but they may not turn other people of Scintilla into slaves.

  • Description
    Eve has been titled as the Jewel of the Unknown Regions by the Agents of Chaos. The very center of the Scintilla space construct and serving as its capital city, it is a marvelous technological wonder. From the outside, the space station it was built on is not much to look at, for it's a simple sphere, connected to other, smaller spheres, via a large amount of tunnels. However, once the sphere is entered, a new world of wonders is revealed to your eyes.

    Inside the sphere, the sky looks as real as real can be, with weather control that gives the city four seasons per year, each lasting three months and the graduate change to them feels natural to most forms of organic species. The air is fresh, crisp, and from the edges, there are lakes and forests that can be seen.

    In the middle lays the city proper of it, one of the true reasons for the Agents of Chaos and for Scintilla's residents to be proud. In a short time, the city aspects were constructed to include everything from offices to factories to residences, and one would not guess that little over a year ago, this was just empty space in the Unknown Regions. Aside for several very specific parts of Eve, everything looks new, shiny, up to date, and incredibly inviting, with bustling markets, sleek offices, charming parks, and happy people.

    Living in Eve does not require one to join the Agents of Chaos; the city is led by the head of the Agents, the illusive woman who goes by the name of Discordia, who has decreed that the city, as well as most of Scintilla, would be open to any who wished to come visit or even live, and Agents of Chaos loyalty would not be demanded. Rather than force people into the insurgent organization, they would show the galaxy why being part of them was the best choice given the political powers that reigned at present.

  • The Center
    The Center of Eve is a small circle surrounded by the sphere's largest lake, located exactly beneath the highest point in the dome that is above it. True to its name, it is the very middle of the entire disc, and where the capital city's main hubs are. Here you will find the Tower, which serves as the Agents of Chaos' main HQ. Near it, you can find the Garden of Death, various restaurants and cafes, research centers, different buildings for different divisions of the factions, a luxury hotel for visitors, an area sectioned off for diplomats from other factions and planets, and so much more. Although Eve is massive, the Center is where the majority of the Agents of Chaos spend their working hours in Scintilla, as this is where much of the relevant jobs, offices, and training grounds are located.

  • ESE (Eve Stock Exchange)
    Considered a section of its own, the long street that can be found circling around the Center, the ESE is where many of the financial market offices on Eve operate from. Anything from the legal financial markets of the Scintilla, to the Scintilla services industries, to special interest financial interests as well as intergalactic markets can be found here, with new offices opening up regularly as the reputation of Agents of Chaos continues to spread around the galaxy. This is where you will find various people (and aliens) in suits, expensive dinners to impress, and workers who can make you millions in minutes… Or lose you even more in that amount of time. The ESE has a direct path that leads those who know of it to the Red Line District when slightly less legal financial things need to happen. Shuttles from the ESE to the Gasartobi Entertainment District leave at regular intervals.

  • Techtown
    Eve is part of the Scintilla space construct, and it takes a small fleet of personnel to keep it operational at all times, especially as more and more spheres are added. This does not happen in Techtown. What does happen in Techtown, which is a few blocks with skyscrapers, is research and development in all that has to do with cybersecurity. As some of the Agents of Chaos either are or have used the services of slicers beforehand, and as the Scintilla is not an actual planet but a construct that requires constant maintenance, sections in Eve have been built specifically for the purposes of making sure they remain on top of the technological food chain. Here you will find newcomers to the industry who are thirsty to advance and bring new creations forth as well as older and more experienced people to help guide them through it, and a few cybersecurity firms trying to cash on the entire thing.

  • Industrial District
    The industrial district is the only one of Eve's districts where what you see at sea level does not even begin to cover what it holds. While it is true that the entrance to most of the buildings and factories there are at sea level, this is one district that has made heavy use of the areas beneath it, working the tunnels into their favor. Many of Eve's generators and other sources of power creation can be found here (the second largest area for these is the shell – the one kilometer between the sphere's crust and inside), as well as small weapon factories, mass production factories, office buildings, and more. On the outskirts of the district, closer to the border between this and the Center, place has been made for homes. The first line, the one that borders the industrial district directly, exists of tall apartment complexes, and the closer you get to the Center, the lower the houses become. The industrial district can house several million people, most of which are employed within the district itself. Schools, parks, recreational areas, workers' restaurants, and more, can be found here a well.

  • Urban Residences
    Every city needs a place for the majority of its residents. The urban district of Eve is where a large portion of the population has a home, whether it's in the high rise buildings that hold many apartments within them, or the ground floor private homes that can be find closer to the skirts of Eve's ground level. A certain harmony can be found here in how the houses go from the poor to the rich, from the small to the big, from those who must travel to see green and those who have backyards. As many people in Eve choose to hold pets (both sentient and not), special care has been laid into providing all levels of income and wealth with areas that include pet parks and playgrounds.

  • The Gasartobi Entertainment District
    The Gasartobi Entertainment District, referred to as most as imply the Entertainment District or simplicity's sake, is where many of Eve's entertainment facilities can be found, both legal and not quite so legal. On the level of Eve's main disc as well as a few above it, people can easily find many different theaters (both for holofilms and stage performances), an opera house, a philharmonic center, and lovely little cafes and cantinas to help pass time in between. A few lower levels hold some of the more seedy establishments such as nightclubs, dark bars, gambling dens, casinos, a red lights district, and more. Holograms cover every corner in the district, and it's neigh impossible to not see endless beautiful lights, mostly in pinks and purples, while walking through the district, both in its upper levels, and lower ones. At the outskirts of the Gasartobi Entertainment District are areas dedicated to the accommodation and living areas of those who work in the district. These apartments aren't quite known for their lavishness and most of them offer just enough for your average entertainer to live on, though there are several luxurious penthouses situated at the top of some of the district's buildings.

  • The Red Line District [X]
    The Red Line District is the seedier, darker entertainment district that Eve has to offer. Filled with gambling dens, casinos, dark bazaars, and many more dangers that could ensure a person ends the day with their wallets empty and their debts considerate, it is a place founded and operated by the Coins, the financial workers and saboteurs of the Agents of Chaos. Those who enter are advised to be very, very careful.

  • The Lakes of Eve
    When the sphere of Eve was constructed, plans to place spots of nature in the city were made as well. Part of what had been utterly demanded of the engineers, was to add lakes, though Discordia never gave the reason as to why. There is a giant lake in the center of the city, but many more can be found around the sphere. Those who manage to find their ways below the sea level can tour beneath them and see the life that is in them from various interesting angles. Several such lakes are spread around, and one can find them even at the very edge of the central disc. During the work week, most of the lakes are almost entirely deserted, but during vacations and days off, many citizens love to invite friends over and go camping by the lakes.

  • The Forests of Eve
    As well as the lakes, many dunams of forests can be found in Eve. These forests include local fauna and flora, most of which at this point has been imported, though scientists are working on developing a few local varieties. While at a first glance nothing about the forests of Eve stands out, it is during dusk that people are most advised to go see them, as the many fireflies that inhabit it all spark up together and join each other in a dance of fire that does not burn. Throughout the night, their lights can be seen as well, glimmering like stars. The forest are seen by the locals as magical places to escape the bustling busyness of the city proper, and several tourist tours are offered in the parts that are closer to the city center.

  • The Slums
    What is a city without its slums? Though Eve is a place of medium wealth and above, not all those who inhabit it share that wealth. The slums were not part of the city's initial design, yet developed out of necessity as more and more people to that part of the Unknown Regions. From seedy meeting places to dirty streets, Discordia has decided to let the area remain rather than trample it down. What future can those who live in the Slums of Eve have? There is no answer to that question yet. But many are seated in the distance, watching a careful eye, knowing fully well that they cannot see all that is there, waiting for the chance to trample that part of the sphere down into the nothingness from which it came.

  • The Caverns
    The Caverns of Eve are the bottom half that is beneath the central disc. The levels that are closer to the disc are safe and open for many people who wish to see the lakes or simply how parts of Eve are constructed together. But at its deepest part, these caves and caverns go down for nearly fourty kilometers, and that is a lot of space to get lost and to hide things in. Blueprints of many of the levels are missing, and the maze-like design ensures that many people will wish to remain well and far away from them. But something lurks there, something that goes ding ding and boom boom in the night.

Low

Eve is not a super secured place because mostly, it has no reason to be. It is placed in the center of the Scintilla space construct, which means potential hostiles from the outside must pass through other spheres first to get to it. On the inside, surveillance and various forms of guards exist, yet these are mostly to maintain the peace rather than need to enforce specific policies. The Slums of Eve are the most dangerous part of the city, but there is no enforcement inside of it at all; only local police on the outside of it making sure that the wrong sort of people and equipment stay in. Certain amounts of crime can be found the Red Light District, but the Coins take care of whatever happens there on their own. In short, Eve's security is Low – and it has no reason to be anything above that.

Though the construction of Eve is far from over, at least as far as anything internal goes, Eve was the first sphere to be built in the Scintilla, a giant space construct which is made of a terrifying number of spheres, all connected via tunnels both wide and slim. The original idea was the brain child of Scherezde deWinter, hatched over a year before the Agents of Chaos began to come together. Lacking for funds, she sold the idea to the highest bidder on the holonetwork, and promptly forgot about it almost entirely. Little did she know that the highest bidder was none other than Discordia, the elusive woman, who had begun to work on the construction almost immediately, making several security detail changes to the original blueprints, but keeping the general idea more or less completely intact.

But neither Dicordia nor Scherezade even in their wildest dreams had imagined Eve would become such a success. People began to flock to the city as soon as it became inhabitable. At first, these were people of the Unknown Regions, escaping danger they had faced on their home planets. They had no ideology save to find a safe place to live and raise children in, and as Eve had thus been spared any of the Unknown Regions' warlords and other forms of large scale violence, word of it quickly began to spread. Within months, the city surpassed any populace expectations, and more hands were needed, both to make sure there was place for those who were there, as well as expand for those who had not yet arrived.

The flow to the city became more or less constant. When more spheres were added to the Scintilla, not all came to Eve, though as the capital city it enjoyed the largest incoming stream. Not only those who wished to make the Scintilla their permanent residence joined; as Agents of Chaos' word began to spread, various ambassadors as well as displaced monarchs made their way to the city as well, seeking first refuse and then to use their homes there as a base to build their plans for a future return of power. Those who had come with their own slaves were permitted to keep them, but no citizen of Eve (or the Scintilla) could become a slave.

The people of the Agents of Chaos began to move to Eve as well, their homes built over various locations that the central disc had to offer. Training was provided, as well as income, advancement opportunities, and more.

Only time will tell what becomes of the idea of the Scintilla, and with it, what the feature would hold for Eve, its capital.

Those who are not part of the Agents of Chaos will never be granted access unless summoned for a meeting or invited to the restaurant area, and even the Agents of Chaos' movement within the Tower is restricted unless they are in sufficiently high positions.

the Ship Maidens. Sithspawn / lab experiment gone wrong that produced an egg vomiting species that is bonded to large ships. Much like in old days they'd place carvings of women in the front of these ships, this is how the Ship Maidens live and where they reside, and while they can assume a form (one form) to walk around in, they can never stray too far. If the ship is destroyed, they die with it
