Since the passing of the Protectors Accord, this Accord has been used in a broader sense to also fund not just Member Clan Fleets of the Mandalorian Protectors. But also assist in arming Planetary Clan Militias that answer to each governing A'lor. Many mandalorians especially prominent mandalorians understand the importance of the defensive federation members being able to contribute autonomously to border defense. While many clans lack resources, they have manpower.
The P1-Panther is an answer to the problem, designed by Clan Gargon , and produced by Panthers Arsenal. The P1-Panther Semi Automatic Blaster is a reliable rifle capable of being produced quickly and with cost efficiency. Making it a perfect rifle for mandalorian lend lease to future allies, as well as a weapon that can be easily produced for Clan Militia, Trench Infantry, or more common protector infantry that fill the lines of a battle. An accurate rifle that has an easy reload mechanism, this is a deadly weapon for any marksman.
However war is expensive and fielding units is expensive for a fledgling nation. This is reflected in its overall gaping weakness as a rifle , in order to cut back on ammunition costs. The rifle has an ammunition capacity of eight shots, and is only semi automatic. Meaning that every shot in the midst of the battle must be made to count. While a solid weapon for a mandalorian, in the wrong hands this weapons strengths may be easily nullified. But one thing is certain, this cost efficient weapon serves its purpose of being a weapon readily available to the nation.

This weapon is made of basic and easy to repair components, allowing it to perform well in any environment. This weapon also includes the capability to attach a bayonet.
