Nar Shaddaa, 874 ABY
Music pulsed from three different nightclubs as Siv Dragr stalked the streets of Nar Shaddaa's undercity. There wasn't a part of the Hutt Moon that wasn't undercity, but even here there was some contrast between the surface and the dim artificial lighting several hundred levels below. Nar Shaddaa was one of the most infamous criminal moons in the galaxy, rife with Hutt-controlled cartels, black markets, and slave trading. Even the Jedi knew that efforts to police the moon would be fruitless, and although the Hutts made an appearance of pandering to the Law, down below the same criminal scum carried out their business.
Siv was no stranger to the dark underbelly of the galaxy, but his companion might have been. He didn't know much about Kranak Vizsla's history, but the massive Mandalorian brute didn't strike Siv as the type who would've been involved in the bounty hunting scene. That being said, Vizsla was here with him tonight on his hunt, so Siv could have been underestimating the commando's history. But regardless, Kranak was very deadly, which would be useful.
It wasn't every day that you killed a Sith.
Siv had gotten a tipoff from the ShadowNet information network -- an elaborate web of informants that provided the Karjr hunters of the Enclave with their knowledge -- that a Force User with red-bladed lightsabers had been terrorizing the streets of Nar Shaddaa. It was more likely a complaint filed by cartels losing merchandise and personnel than hapless civilians, either numb to the violence around them or full-blown participants, but all the same Siv didn't really care. There was a Sith here, and the Enclave's mission -- his mission -- was that of a singular purpose: No Sith, No Exceptions.
"Keep your eyes peeled and sensors sharp," Siv hissed to Kranak as they walked. At his suggestion they'd cloaked themselves, but underneath the roughspun fabric garments their Mandalorian armor shined distinctively, and was already drawing eyes along the street. A lone Mandalorian hunter wasn't something unusual to see in a place like Nar Shaddaa, but two Mandalorians meant something much more significant. No doubt several local gangs would have already been informed of their presence and debating whether or not they were a threat; Siv hoped that they'd be able to finish their business before any Hutt syndicate caught word of Mandalorian hunters in their streets. "Sometimes if you're lucky, your target comes to you. They should know that they have a price on a head, and we aren't inconspicuous. They might want to deal with us before we deal with them."
