This tome contains the recorded names of all who come seeking to join the Dawnguard, with a single page devoted to each member of the order.
First to write his name in the book was Thurion Heavenshield, closely followed by his wife Coci and their two children, Nina and Théodred.
These four stand as the founders of the Dawnguard, and their descendants shall ever serve as keepers of this temple and its surroundings.
