The Fringes of the Empire

By their very nature every Empire creates fringe groups that stand in opposition to the authoritative norms expressed upon them, or look to make a profit as a result of the lack of freedoms allowed by a tyrannical regime. The Empire of the Lost is no different. With its core lying in an industrial center that has been overseen by various Imperial rules of the day an underworld has always existed in this section of the galaxy and is slowly being pulled together into a viable organic enterprise. With rapid expansion, the Empire of the Lost has ruffled quite a few feathers and displaced several freedom loving cultures. The seeds of discontent have been planted. In the Empire of the Lost not all citizens fight for the vision of Imperial domination.

The Krykna(Imperial Underground)

The Krykna started as a coalition of Liann street gangs under the guiding hand of Yoryn Darnur Yoryn Darnur . The Keshiri woman’s ambition, criminal entrepreneurship and way of making numbers work made it possible to bring together all of the major gangs of Lianna together in a coalition of underworld money making enterprises. With her brains at the lead the gangs formed legitimate shelter companies to hide their earnings in. With the establishment of Lianna as the capital of the Empire of the Lost, it became increasingly necessary for the underworld to shadow itself and avoid official notice. As the Krykna dug itself deeper into the Imperial machine they gained influence and influencers. Now they stand unquestioned as the leaders of the criminal world on Lianna.

The first and most influential Imperial benefactor to the Krykna was a smart young naval officer turned Moff. Agmena Rend took the Krykna from a single system’s organized crime organization to an Empire spanning syndicate with their hands in all manner of crime.
