DESCRIPTION
While the Tyrok was intended to be entered as a contestant for an arms contract, the vessel carrying the dropship to the proving grounds was delayed in transit, losing it the competition. Not wanting their effort to be for naught, Mercenary Arms offered placed it on the market to any interested.

With a class 0.9 hyperdrive, the Tryok is fully capable of operating independently of a carrier, yet has several space-saving features to ease their storage in a hanger; such as retracting engines while the missile pods and point laser fold away against the hull. Moving the engines outboard freed up massive amounts of loading-bay room for not only troops, but heavy vehicles and light walkers as well. Internally the ship can carry 100 troops, multiple small walkers and speeders, and two large ground vehicles with their crew, or a mix between them. Dividing the interior is a raised second deck where much of the ship’s crew space lies. Here is where one can find the cockpit, gunner stations, engineering, and command sections, as well as tight quarters for the crew. Passengers however are only expected for the short-term and while the onboard life-support is more than sufficient to provide for them, a prolonged stay would soon overwhelm other systems.

To provide support for deploying troops, the Tryok sports two rapid firing hypervelocity cannons capable of shooting through ray shields to soften enemy positions and armor. Mounted on turrets, each has a wide firing arc forward and rear over the stern launchers when they’re retracted. An additional two launchers are mounted just off the dropship’s nose which are capable of switching between a variety of munitions depending on the situation.
