Yes, you know the sad thing? the main thing making me excited is easier fleet management. I really hate how hard it is to manage large fleets in Stellaris at the moment.

Dude, ive been playing the game ages, and only last week worked out you can remove the sector borders from the galaxy map!

I'm looking forward to the death of deathballs. Gonna be a good time seeing a bunch of little fleets instead of one 75k fleet giggling its way through my mining stations.

Like I said, the changes to fleet management are going to really change the game. Hopefully bring some actual strategy to it. Also it will allow me to more easily manage large fleets by setting templates so they can automatically be reinforced! So I don't have to keep manually telling my planets to construct ships

 

Though to be honest, I found this feature in the dev diary after suffering through a campaign where I found myself just constantly having to churn out ships to beat a end-game crisis so the fleet management was my main frustration at the time.
