@Pom Stych Tivé

LOCATION: DRAGON SITH IMPERIUM

PLANET: MYGEETO

The Sith Lord Shaidin Kamari had received word from his several spies across the Empire that a woman had been inquiring about the posting for Dragon Sith on Bastion and her name was Pom. Not much was known about her from the dossier his spies had sent him; he didn't even have her picture yet - which posed a problem.

However, the fact that she wasn't easy to access even for a Sith Lord and Admiral of Lord Depravious's caliber meant that she would be perfect to induct into the Order of Dragon Sith. Immediately he sent for this witch to be brought to the world of Mygeeto that he claimed pseudo-governance over at the moment.

Within the dark chambers that he sat, Lord Depravious rested his head on his plated gloved hand. His thoughts ran back to a time long before now to that of his family. Jade statues surrounded the man of ancient Sith from times of old. Dragons coated the ceilings abovecasting their forboding shadow down on the floor below and infront of Lord Depravious.

Eons of hate and rage swirled within the temple that he now sat. The throne was ascended high above the ground that had steps leading up to it - he was almost face level with the statues around him and his eyes drifted to the statue of his own son - a man slaughtered in battle by his brother all over greed and petty feuds. Sadness now over took his aura as he pondered the past.

No sooner had Vereshin confided in Pom regarding the Incursion and invited her to become involved, had she become intrigued by their Darkside of the Force. The Sith which wielded it did things she could do, only without all the spells and incantations, relics and amulets. She had wracked her brain over their belief that she too uses this Force, yet merely believes she cannot do it without all her props, they had called them. She found the whole idea absolutely absurd, as have witches of the past. Pomst believes in herself! She is not limited by her perception! Its not some kind of game she is playing!

Her minions had relayed whispers of a place for her to grow her abilities. The idea intrigued her, and strangely enough, she likewise found herself sent for. Life sometimes orchestrates itself like this; and so does death. Curiosity won over her better judgement and therefore she willingly sought out those who were sent to collect her. The young Sorceress identified them and walked right up to them. She followed them to their ship. She found the accommodations of the transporting vessel fitting, not that likened any prisoner.

She felt the Empire moreso enthralling than her initial introduction to it. Her mother often spoke of it. There is much about it far beyond her expectations. The destroyer was one. She had never been on such a massive vessel in her life.

Lead by armed escort to meet the summoning Lord Depravious, something unexpected gripped her. Her spirits were chattering too quickly for her comprehension. They were not warning her in fear, she deduced, but were encouraging her that she would come away with information beyond her expectations. She felt hesitation however, when the large doors of a grand and ancient Temple were swung open before her, and she saw him for the first time sitting atop an elevated throne as if he were a King.

Before her escorts could announce her, she Apparated into a stream of black smoke and instantaneously closed the gap between herself and Lord Depravious. The smoke quickly dissipated as the Sorceress reappeared again directly in front of the Lord, at the foot of the steps. “I am the Pomstychtivé whom you have summoned,” she announced, with a respective nod of her head.

Now what none could know, is that Pom Stych Tivé is merely the name she uses, but it is not her birth name. A witch protects her name as if it were the gateway to being cursed. She is the paranoid type, the one who lends nothing, guards the hem of her cloak, leaves not a single hair left unkempt. She will not be cursed if she is vigilant! But one’s name when left as the only link to conjure magick, could be her undoing from afar! Pomstychtivé is none other than a word of a lesser known tongue meaning “Vengeful”.

The Sith Lord watched as the woman entered his temple. He could feel her presence, and fed off of the inner darkness that lay within her. His crimson fiery eyes watched as she dissipated in thin air and reappeared at the foot of the steps of his throne. As she re-appeared he had been making his way down the steps to greet her when suddenly.. He stopped dead-pan in his tracks. Shaidin Kamari froze in place - and his eyes widened. His face flushed and for a moment - it looked like he had seen a ghost.

As funny as this was since he was staring directly at a Nightsister - whos faction is known for conjuring ghosts and other spiritual machinations - this was much different. Lord Depravious had faced many nightsisters, and been allies with many more in his life time - the threat of a ghost attacking him wasn't something that could stop him dead-pan in his tracks. Instead this was different, she looked almost identical to Lord Depravious's fallen wife - and for a moment being in the Dragon Sith Imperium temple surrounded by the jade statues and seeing her in front of him it was as if he was ripped through time and space to another time of old, a better time.

The Sith Lord sharply inhaled and collected himself centering his mind in the force and then stepping down the steps closer to the woman.

"Indeed you are the one I summoned, but not the person I thought I would see in front of me."

As he got to the bottom of the stair case, Shaidin Kamari did something that wasn't necessarily common of most Sith Lords, and he bowed low with deep respects to the woman. Upon raising his eyes were locked on her narrowing while he examined her face looking for any differences to that of his wife - but instead he only found trace elements of his son Kaestyl where he didn't find his wife.

He brought his plated gloved hand up closer to her face, before instantly recoiling it realizing this woman had absolutely no idea what he was going on about or what was happening in his mind. For a moment the Sith Lords face seemed to be at peace. Could this really be the being he had sensed in meditation years ago that held some type of bond to him? Shaidin took the woman by the arm and led her to a Jade statue that was in the room. His grasp on her arm wasn't firm or harsh - rather it was soft.

Upon reaching the jade statue - it seemed old, even for a Jade statue. The engraving under the painting was 'Pandryli Elisi o' which for the moment Depravious kept to himself. When Pom would look up at the statue it would be literally almost a spitting image of herself, with only slight character differences in the face and poise of which the woman in the statue held herself.

The weight of the ancient power emanating from the Temple was far different from Dathomir. For a moment she felt her head swimming, then she realized that what she found overwhelming came directly off the Sith Lord. However, he told her she was not who he was searching for, to which she simply nodded in acceptance. There are many Nightsisters, each difficult to locate for outsiders. Afterall she should not feel disappointed; for who is she to have expected anything? She does not know this man, nor much regarding the Sith. They would take her home and she would enjoy more delicacies on that superb destroyer!

She cursed her spirits for their trickery. How they toyed with her from time to time! She would send them back from whence they came! See how much they like that!

Yet after he informed her that she is not who he expected, he then bowed to her. She did not know for what reason he showed her this unwarranted respect. She is unfamiliar with the customs among the Sith. She curtsied in return.

He reached out to her, causing a strange expression to wash over her face unexpectedly. Her countenance revealed her sudden sense of vulnerability. She felt an instant connection she had not expected, and it magnified within her eyes as they cast upon him. At least, he had instantly rendered her to that state, she realized. She had granted him a power over her to do so, and that was a very dangerous situation she allowed him to create. She felt angry with herself for it.

Pom toughened up again as he lead her over to gaze upon a statue, and she immediately recognized from where he was coming. She forgave his previous transgression entirely. “Oh..” escaped her lips without intent. Their resemblance was practically flawless. She looked from the statue and back to the man, repeatedly. She realized her heart racing within her chest. The Sorceress paled even more. Her eyes defied her once again, as they were helpless but to well with tears. “K-Kæstyl Kamari?” her voice cracked, as she suspected the man standing before her for her father whom she had never met. Alot had been packed into a single moment. It felt like time suddenly stood still, and everything else washed away but this moment, and him.

The name of his fallen son echoed through-out his mind. Images of his son flashed into his mind and for a moment, sorrow radiated from the mans very presence of being. His gaze fell to the floor as he shook his head very slightly. When he looked back up to his grand-daughter his eyes were full of sorrow, and silently he led her over to the Jade statue of her father Kaestyl Kamari.

The statue stood tall and proud, with a curved hilt at the side of the Sith. At the bottom of the statue was inscribed "Kaestyl Kamari - Cyrn Eilisi es nos reieli" The statue in some ways resembled Lord Depravious as it was he son - but it had distinct character traits that were different from the Sith Lord and the armor that the statue wore was entirely different.

The Sith Lord finally spoke - his tone was hushed as he tried to disguise the sorrow reverberating in his voice.

"My son is dead, he fought with honor and bravery against my brother before he was slaughtered at the pyre of Calyx. He is forever immortalized in this statue, the last of those meant to honor him. You must be his daughter, the one I sensed so long ago that was born."

Shaidin turned to the woman, this time he did not retract his hand immediately as he brought it to her face - his memories of his fallen wife once again flooding into his mind.

"You look so much like your grandmother it gave me pause when you first entered. I honestly still can not believe my eyes."

Sorrow still graced the eyes of the Sith Lord as his armor plated hand caressed her face. She was so much more than he could have ever asked for, but at the same time opened old wounds that Depravious had long thought sealed by the sands of time.

"I am your Grandfather, Shaidin Kamari."

As he shook his head, relaying that he is not her father, she felt a sense of deep sadness, knowing his pain and how it was caused by death of a loved one. She had never felt it well up inside herself so strongly, so quickly it caused her a mild but sudden gasp. She felt his pain magnify as he spoke. Her mother always spoke kindly of her father and praised his name for his many attributes. Until this day, Pom had never seen his likeness ever. Her mother had never let Pom mourn over never having known him, instead spoke of him regularly as if he were cheering her on as she matured and strove to develop her natural talents for the arcane arts. And here is that young sorceress now, discovering that unique pain of death through her empathic connection to the only living ancestor she has ever met off Dathomir. Maybe in time, Lord Depravious will find her presence welcoming, and not one that just stirs painful memories of love from earlier times.

She marveled at the statue of her father. She felt how honorable and heroic a Sith he must have been to have such a majestic carving erected in his likeness. She placed a hand upon the stone and closed her eyes momentarily, simply feeling what emotions were linked to it. She felt a great pride for this heritage. She pondered her Grandmother, determining the woman far more beautiful than she. So many questions flourished about in her thoughts regarding both of them, her Grandmother and her Father…and whoever else there had been in their family line. Better yet, ‘who is living still? Are there more in their family?’ She wanted to fill in all the holes for information which her mother could not provide.

“I am incredibly honored and most happy to finally meet you,” she said to her Grandfather. The young woman took him in as he stood there so close. She fondly determined him handsome, as was his son. She blushed as she understood her mother’s weakness, and her personal vow to never know another man. He was strong, both physically and spiritually. She could feel the magnitude of the powers he commanded. She felt a great sense of pride well up inside herself to be connected to him. She often marveled about how the Sith used this power they call the Force, but blood line or no, she knew she could never be like him. She calls on her own goddess for her powers…so different she must seem to him. She could not help but remark, “Its fascinating what you can do with your mind.”

Up until this point in time, she has only known her Mother. She had never uttered the title Grandfather ever. Her father's legal name was one she had also not uttered in years. At home on Dathomir, Pom’s true name is known only by her mother Amrease Samshij, and her Nightsisters coven. “Cylaeria Samshij Kamari” Her Grandfather would be the first person to whom she would utter her real name outside of her homeland. It felt like a sudden wave of vulnerability washed over her, just to share it. She consciously decided she would trust him completely.

Pomsty stepped in and she hugged her Grandfather.

He heard his granddaughters name and for a moment, just a slight moment, happiness filled the aura of the Sith Lord. The name held great meaning to the Sith Lord not only because of the current beholder of it - but also from the times of old. It was a name his son would have chosen, and a name that his son would have honored and cherished in his daughter.

Then she embraced him.

She was beautiful just as her grandmother was, and seemed to have the same spirit as well. For a moment Depravious was brought back to a time much better than this one and happiness filled him once more. It was almost surreal to have her hugging him. His mind drifted for a moment to the last hug he had with her grandmother. She had given him her crested hilt - the one that he wore still on his side to this day - before venturing off on a mission to stop the civil war between him and his brother before it happened; a mission that Shaidin stressed against, and a mission that ultimately took her life.

There were no words to be had between to two at this moment, Depravious simply didn't have any words to express to his granddaughter, and instead embraced her all the same hugging her tightly.

While everyone addressed Shaidin Kamari as Eternal Lord respectively, Pomst took to calling him ‘pata Mitunkasila’ my cherished Grandfather, in her native tongue of Pæcean. It did not take but an instant for her to become jaded by the mere thought of him being alive, her having been conditioned to love her father so, through the adoring interpretation of her surviving mother. His mere existence instantly spiked her intrigue, and she often imagined her father would be an exact replica of him. In every interaction she would have with Lord Depravious, he might recognize her feelings toward him through her focussed gaze, her gentle poise, her intense concentration on him, as she would stifle every private thought to attentively listen to him while he spoke.

Pomst choose to stay in the Temple over the next few days. She literally camped out at the base of the statues of her ancestors, disregarding all offers for more comfortable quarters. She would be found meditating in the Temple day and night, fasting and channelling the spirits of her ancestors to learn everything about the history of her family that the spirits would share, and in turn learn about herself, and of her Grandfather. She came away grateful for the opportunity to learn about them, and with a better understanding of how tightly knit they all had been as a family. She is very close with her mother, its in her culture, and she wanted to kindle that closeness with her Grandfather as well. She would make that happen, no matter what obligations stood in each their way.

She did not want to leave him when the time came to part ways at the Temple, even for just a little while. She would return to meet with him for as long as he made himself available, promising her service to him any time he should develop a need or an inkling to see her. She fondly looks forward to such times.
