Location: Trandosha Orbit

Objective: Reconnect with Colonel Calderon’s unit.

Assets: First Antarian Rangers Marine Assault Force

Elements of Ranger Special tactics unit ‘Radama Raiders’

Silver Intelligence Unit

“Sir, still no signs from the Raiders’ distress beacon.” A radio transmission between two separate decks on the lone Phenex class salvage ship interrupted the communication silence the crew onboard was holding due to the nature of their mission.

Any idea on their last signal?

“Yes sir, I can narrow down the last known position of their SGV in the milita’s convoy. Sending the details now.”

Copy.” Like that, there was silence again.

Within the ship, Intelligence Officer Evan Gar removed himself from his position behind several monitors, moving along the corridors of the rather quiet ship to make his way to a separate deck where the majority of the Search and Rescue QRF was preparing at, the hangar. The cyborg officer let out an unenthusiastic grunt as he shouldered his way past a pair of Rangers, their armor alone almost causing a traffic jam in the corridor. Gar had not been expecting this as his first mission out at all. He had longtime planned on being dropped onto one of the nicest ships on the fleet after training, or just a cushy outpost somewhere..But he had never expected to be placed on intelligence for special forces, putting him right in the heart of the action..

He would have preferred the cushy station job so much more.

After several more minutes of traversing the salvage ship's features that were strange to the intel specialist, he’d make his way into the hangar of the ship. He knew being sent head first into handling a mission of this nature, anything that went wrong would affect his standing as a reliable intelligence officer. So, if there was ever a unit of Specialized warfighters such as the Raiders to go missing, they’d need a reliable set of personnel for a quick-reaction-force.

Evan ducked underneath the wing of an LAAT dropship, nodding to the engineers and pilots that were preparing the transport for the extraction while making his way across the hangar floor. He took a quick glance around, letting a trio of rangers toting a heavy cannon emplacement cross in front of his path to avoid a tragic accident in the middle of an already chaotic scene. Eventually, he’d reach his destination, nearing a dropship where many of his ‘main picks’ should have been waiting for his word. The commander of a brand new ranger unit, along with it’s padawan attachment Asaraa Vaashe were both present, hoping to get a successful mission underneath their belts on their very first op. Next was another familiar padawan from the files he had reviewed over when looking through the colonel’s papers, Stephanie Swail. Her name had come across his desk several times, being in several of the same missions that Valkren was involved in. Then came Sergeant Roona Osmari, a long-gun specialist that was actually embedded with Valkren’s group of rangers, but had just not traveled with the small six man team out of the entire platoon. If anyone could follow the team’s lost tracks, it would be her.

Alright folks.

Inside the hangar, Roona Osmari had located a quiet and secluded spot.

The Ysannan woman leaned up against the wall until and tilted her head back slightly. A seemingly calm sigh escaped her, and her closed-eyed expression did not betray the storm of guilt brewing inside her mind. She should have been there with the Raiders. Here on this salvage vessel, this was not her place – she belonged with the others.

She thought back, Roona remembered bidding goodbye to Colonel Valkren Calderon and the other Radama Rangers. They had walked off towards their ship bound for Trandosha, all of them sure that they would get the mission done. She recalled the confident smirk she’d seen on Valkren’s face just as he turned to leave. Never did she think she’d be on a mission to find them. They came back, they always did. The Raiders were smart, they were sharp… they would find a way to survive, no matter the odds.

Still, she couldn’t deny the pang of nerves and worry.

Roona worked hard to keep from being seen as an overprotective figure – a den mother of sorts. She didn’t nag, in fact, her words were generally few. Her expressions were quite solemn and even stony at times. But deep down, she cared quite a lot for the Raiders… they were like her family now. Some more than others. But they were all bound together by battle and the camaraderie they found during the peaceful times.

The sound of footsteps interrupted her thoughts.

The briefing would be starting soon. Before making her way over to join the others assembled nearby, she made a silent vow to bring back the Colonel and his men safely. She would find them. Pushing off from the wall, she spotted Evan Gar standing at the ready. Tall strides brought Roona over, and she offered the intelligence officer a brief nod. There were other members of the Silver Jedi here today to help with the search and rescue efforts -- Stephanie Swail, and Asaraa Vaashe. Add to that the presence of a new Ranger unit that would be led by Padawan Vaashe herself, they seemed an able group.

“Reporting in,” She said in an even tone, and glanced to the others. “I am Roona Osmari, good to meet you.” Her tone was not unfriendly, but it lacked warmth today.

It was their first official mission but…it wasn’t really the first mission she’d though they’d get. Asaraa wasn’t sure what she’d been hoping for, the mission built up in her head. Perhaps she’d been dreaming of an assault on pirate, storming their ship or base, blaster bolts and lightsabers lighting up the darkness, or a desperate struggle against an oncoming horde of storm troopers. She hadn’t expected this.

She’d heard of Radma’s Raiders and their colonel, who on Kashyyk hadn’t. They were the best of the best, the tip of the Silver Jedi Order’s military spear. The Togruta had never imagined that she’d be deploying with the Marines on a rescue mission for the Raider’s, in her imagination she’d always deployed at their side. This wasn’t quite how she’d imagined meeting them, but if it was going to happen, then she was going to make sure that they all made it back in one piece.

Settling herself in her seat the Padawan twisted her head around, checking on her troops as they arrayed themselves out behind her, some dropping into their seats, others leaned back against the wall. Here in the depths of a friendly ship none of them were wearing armour or armed but the veteran soldiers seemed to exude an air of lethality, a quiet air of competence. It still amazed Asaraa that she’d found herself in command of them, but it was a trust she planned to live upto.

Raising her hand to the woman who’d strode into the room with the intelligence officer, a member of the Raider’s team as she recalled. “Asaraa Vaashe,” she introduced herself, her smile faltering at the cool tone of the woman. She could understand the feeling but, well she rallied and tilted her head to turn a questioning gaze on the man standing next to her.

“Do you have any idea what happened down there?”

In the hanger bay awaiting deployment

It had been a while since Sukai had gone of a mission for the Silver Jedi, her last official involvement with the order being the packing up of Voss and movement, though she has missed the how Kassyk setting up as during that time was off crystal hunting with another Padawan raiders. So, it was kind of lucky that said mission happened to be a sort of stealthy operations, involving the Antarian Rangers, and from what she knew they were the best of the best said Order had on offer for military procedures. She had seen them before, mainly during the failed invasion of Miral, so she as kind of wondering what had happened the 'Raiders' when a distress beacon was intercepted, prompting the question... what had happened.

For the moment Sukai sat to the side, inspecting her equipment for the following operations, she had ditched her usual combat suit in place for the new yukata style Skylar robes given to her by Knight Yeoh Wu, a decent upgrade to her old attire, though she still donned her old mask though, the small device being useful many times over. While finally sorting through her many devices the sounds of armoured footsteps echoed closer to the small group of assembled troopers and Jedi, all those present being new to the young Jin as she had not met them before.

'Hmm, must be time for the briefing', Sukai quickly stood up from the crate, patting her clothing down slightly before walking over to the amassed group @Valkren Calderon approached them, probably the only person she was familiar with. She waited for the more older members to report in, one of the Rangers themselves as well as some Togurta too, she seemed new, but then again Sukai was not one to socialize a lot with others unless necessary. "Sukai'ito Yumi, present and awaiting orders, though I too am wondering on the current situation at hand".

This was the second time she had been late to a briefing – she needed to invest in a watch or something. Stephanie ran across the external landing pad towards the hangar where Valkren Calderon was going to be giving the brief about Trandosha, or somewhere. Somewhere really close to Kashyyyk anyway.

Leafy tootled and rolled with speed behind her boots as she ran across, holding her robe down to stop it flapping around with one hand and the other on his silver and black lightsaber hilt. A few huge Wookiees carrying crates stopped and watched her run past, as she threw out an apologetic hello and goodbye, to their amused chuckles.

The large hangar soon swallowed her up and she saw a group amasses at the side with read outs already live. Leafy came to a slow roll beside her, and Stephanie caught her breath, making the run melt into a casual quick walk.

”Sorry,” she panted, waving a carefree hand to them all, ”I lost track….of time. Sorry. I’m…here….”

She gave a nod and encouraged the soldier to continue with a roll of the hand as she sucked in her breath.

The cyborg intelligence officer began to speak up, but was suddenly interrupted by the arrival of Stephanie. He placed his hands behind his back once more, his face place twitching ever so slightly in annoyance. Yet, Gar retained his composure. He knew that there would always be situations like this when it came to operations involving several different divisions.

If he could even consider the Jedi a division, that is.

Letting out a sigh, Gar soon followed it up with an answer to their request. "Like I was stating before the interruption: Colonel Calderon and a small element of the Raiders special forces team were mid-operation with one of the militias on Trandosha when they ceased transmitting to their overwatch unit."

He'd look to the lone troop transport behind the grouping of soldiers and Jedi, removing his hands from behind his back to produce a data pad, tapping on it with his right hand rather hastily. His eyes moving back and forth across the pad as if he already had most of the information in his head.

"The nature of their mission on Trandosha is classified, to say the least. I'm sending each of you the coordinates to their last known position. Your pilot should drop you in only a few klicks from that location, though. You four, along with fifteen members of the First Rangers Marine assault unit, are the QRF for this mission. You are to insert, find the Colonel and his team, and extract immediately. Whatever mission Valkren was on is not to be completed, no matter how far along with it they are. The risk of losing another special forces team is too high."

"What about CAS, sir?" One of the members of Asaraa's unit spoke up, questioning if they had any support in the matter.

"The drop ship behind you is equipped with rotary cannons on either side, crew chiefs will be present as door gunners per your request. However, to avoid any mishaps, this gunship is not marked with any Antarian Ranger or Silver Jedi Colors."

The cyborg finally pulled his eyes away from the data pad, looking to the group before him. "On paper, none of you people ever got this mission. You were never asked to go to Trandosha. You have no idea why the Colonel and his team are there. We good?"

In truth, he hated keeping the team's assigned to him in the dark, but it was his job. When the brass wanted something kept quiet, it would be quiet. Up until things went south, at least.

The dropship's engines behind them began to roar to life, preparing for their descent.

Roona stood with arms crossed, waiting for the briefing to begin. She was eager to get the mission underway. But it seemed that their group had not full assembled. Watching as a couple of new arrivals joined in, the Ysannan woman gave them only a tiny nod. Her eyes would then shift expectantly towards their intelligence officer.

So, it seemed that the Colonel’s mission had already been in progress. This seemed to suggest that they ran into trouble. Roona shifted her weight slightly as she stood. Their mission was simple – find the Colonel and his men. Still, she knew that there could be trouble of their own waiting on the surface. Giving a stiff nod to Gar, she acknowledged the fact that this mission was to be kept on the down low. Roona was not one to question orders.

As their dropship warmed up, the sergeant stepped away to prepare. Grabbing up her supplies, she set a couple of knives onto her belt. She disliked close combat, but in jungle terrain like this… she knew that it was best to be prepared for anything. Next came her trusty shatter pistol, that was holstered on one hip and a heavy blaster pistol on the other. Last, she lifted her assault ripper and slung it over her shoulder. In this last moment of solitude before they boarded the dropship, she spared a thought for Valkren. A shiver of nerves was quickly followed by a spark of anger.

If anyone had harmed the Raiders, Roona would make them pay.

Snatching up her helmet, she tucked it tightly into the crook of her arm. Walking back to the group, she boarded the dropship silently and had a seat. Her eyes found each member of their team. While she had no doubts about their skills, she only hoped they could work together well as a team. Roona had seen Padawan Swail around before, but the others were new to her. The young women with black hair seemed to be serious and focused. This was good. And the Torgruta girl had a unit of marines with her, but Roona couldn’t help but notice that she looked so fresh-faced. Had she seen the true horrors of war?

Well, she supposed that it didn’t matter much now. They were all about to get their hands dirty, whether they liked it or not.

Sefain sprinted as quickly as she could in the direction of the ship. Somehow, time had slipped away from her; an unusual occurrence. She sincerely hoped that she would not miss an important mission due to her laziness, but she wouldn't be surprised if she did. To be honest, she wasn't even sure if she was allowed on the mission in the first place, but she would deal with that later. She arrived in the hangar, just in time to see the ship's thrusters engage, preparing to take off.

Putting on a last burst of speed, Sefain desperately waved down the ship, even going as far as to force leap to gain some ground. Miraculously, the crew noticed her, and they opened the door for her arrival. She ran on board, eyeing the team nervously while she struggled to catch her breath. What would they think of her? A Jedi Knight who was so late she almost missed a mission.

"Sorry, I- time ju- time just slipped away- away from me." She stuttered, struggling to catch her breath. Another quick scan of the team confirmed that there was no one Sefain knew on the squad- at least no one she knew well. She had seen a few of them around the temple, but hadn't had more than a brief conversation with any of them. She knew she had missed the briefing, but she was too self-concisos to ask about the details, let alone what the mission was. Oh well, she was sure she'd figure it out later. Her arm nervously tapped the hilt of her lightsaber, and she stood, heart still racing, in preparation of what was to come.

Sukai kept a stoic and calm demeanor as the briefing went underway, taking a page out of her mothers book in terms of military protocol and what to expect on such a mission such as this, and so far this where very hush hush, but what ever they may run into she was sure their group could handle it, hopefully.

With the briefing winding down Sukai followed the other towards the drop ship as the loud engines roared to life, making sure all her combat equipment was secured correctly. This would not be the first time she had visited the jungle world of Lizard men, as such she was already familiar with the terrain they would be up against, though that did not make her much happy, said jungles and swaps where not easy to traverse even with the aid of the force, and keeping a low profile may be kind of hard.

Upon boarding the drop she Sukai noted a bit of anger from the Raider sergeants she too climbed in, perhaps a personal vendetta against those who would cause her comrade harm? Sukai could understand that, especially for such a close nit task force such as themselves, it kind of reminded her of mother stories about her old unit back during the One Sith wars. Her thoughts where interrupted by the sound of someone new approaching and fast, a woman bursting into view visibly winded from their run, but most of all late to the party.

"You almost missed the ship, you sure your of knight status"? Sukai had noted the lack of a Padawan braid on the woman, meaning she was probably a knight, maybe a new one, how she got that rank was beyond her. Well then again she did not know, not everyone here wore Padawan braids, herself included, but then again Sukai was not really a Padawan, or a Jedi for that matter, 'thoughts for later, back to the mission'.

Sefain looked off to the side, embarrassed.

"It doesn't normally happen." She murmured, her face still flushed. Although she had regained her breath and was no longer gasping, she could still feel the piercing stares of the others. The door behind her closed, and the starship's engines flared to life once more.

The stares slowly went away, and Sefain felt as though the effects of her mishap were winding down. As the temple got further away as the ship took to space, Sefain began to feel a twinge of excitement. She hadn't been on a mission in a long time.

Kat wandered through to where the group was gathered. It seemed that she had missed some of the meeting, brushing her long white hair behind her, she looked out at the others. "Apologies, didn't realise when we were all meeting. Kat Decoria, part time mechanic, part time fighter." Her voice was calm and collected. Her blaster pistol strapped around her hips with her preferred force pike on her back.

Kat moved in closer, her gaze shifting from one person to the next. Her welding goggles on her forehead, her gear scruffy looking with patches of oil and baggy trousers covered her robotic legs. Kat looked very different to all the clean and pretty girls that were also here. It panged part of her low self esteem but she didn't let it linger. Kat knew that if she wanted, as an Echani she could make herself look prettier. It was just never a decision she wanted, working with machines all day meant that she got scruffy, oiled on and sweaty. Never bothered her dad, shouldn't bother her.

Asaraa waved to her team, gesturing them onto the dropship as she took one last glance around the hanger before joining the crowd on the dropship, the ever-growing crowd on the dropship. The Togruta couldn't help but smile as she heard the others all securing themselves in. It was a nice feeling, a small team of operatives goes missing and it seemed like everyone and their uncle seemed to be coming out of the woodwork to rescue them. It was a nice feeling, being part of such a strong community that banded together like this. The young woman's red-skinned fingers settled on her lightsaber, rinning over the cool, comforting shape as she nodded. Whatever had happened to the Raiders and the Colonel, they weren't ready for the storm that was headed their way.

"She's right, we have no real idea what we're dropping into, just that whatever it is seems to have snapped up some of the best soldiers we have." The Padawan inclined her head at Roona, the Raider's representative and perhaps the person who knew them best. "And Mr Classifed was oh so helpful about letting us know what we're walking into." She could sense the humour pouring off the marines settled in behind her, a product of the infantry's experience with officers, intel officers especially. "Our's not to reason why, ours but to do and die Ma'am." Corporal Willams piped up from beneath his helmet.

"Well, what he said, but you know, if we can get through this without any of the dying I'd really appreciate it." Strange as it was she like the snarky, hard to command Marines, they were her people and she was determined to protect them, protect all the Silver Jedi Personnel aboard the shuttle. Her fingers strayed to her lightsaber again, touching the cool metal. No-one else died on her watch.

As all the members of the QRF would board onto the unmarked drop ship, Gar would only nod, turning to walk away as the engine's roar grew louder and louder.

His voice cut through the main 'players' comms, as well as the fifteen rangers that readied their equipment within the ship.

"Good luck, everyone. Gar out."

With that, the 'spook' vanished into the wet works of the crew members of the disguised ship. The pilot and copilot of their transport went to work on their pre-flight checks, flicking away and interacting with several of the instruments in the cockpit that made it so the bird could fly.

"Big brother actual, this is Big bird one, requesting permission to lift off." The pilot spoke up, transmitting to the flight chief of the hangar bay.

"Solid Copy Big bird one, you're clear for take off. Happy hunting out there boys."

"Be back in time for brunch tomorrow, yeah?"

With that, the big-bodied gunship/dropship mix lifted off, exiting the protected hangar and into the emptiness of space. The roaring commotion of engine sounds and crew members busy at work was suddenly exchanged for dead silence as the salvage ship grew further and further away. Yet, Trandosha's surface grew even closer.

Eventually the ship would break the planet's atmosphere, piercing the night's veil, having their insertion be at the beginning of this night-time cycle for the sake of the operation. If they were to insert at daylight, they would be an easy target for any pirates or mercenaries trigger-happy enough for target practice, and that wasn't uncommon. As the trees and swamps of the planet came into better view, the crew-chiefs on either side of the drop ship would slide open the doors on their respected sides, sliding out the custom Heavy Z-6 'emplacements' that designated them as door gunners. Sliding the charging rods back, they shouldered the weapons, preparing for the worst.

"We're reaching the colonel's last known position! Should be to our left in this valley!" The copilot yelled out across their comms as the drop ship dove slightly, using their Night-vision head sets to see as to not give away their position with a spot light. Soon, the militia's so called 'convoy' came into view to those who looked out the door with NVG's. Two GIR troop carriers sat smoldering in their wreckage, fires still ablaze within one of them. Along with the transports, several SGV's were strewn about the area, overturned or ripped completely apart. Bodies of all kinds of species were littered around the destruction, but it was unclear if any of those bodies were those of the Radama Raiders, or any kind of Ranger personnel, atleast from this distance.

"Force..What happened here?" The door gunner overlooking the side that the convoy was one spoke up, unshouldering the weapon momentarily to look down at the carnage.

"It's too risky to put down this close, we'll deploy the ropes in the swamp to the North, just two klicks from this position. Get down there and find the Raiders! Get them back by daybreak or this becomes a whole hell of a lot more difficult! We'll come back around for another pass and standby to see if you need any air support!" The pilot cut in once more, turning the drop ship to the right sharply to move over the hills that made the valley the convoy was destroyed in.

As they gained a great enough distance from the valley, the ropes would be deployed on either side of the open doors, leading the QRF team to hip-deep swamp water. Force users could easily make the jump down, but the rope was more for the soldiers.

"Ropes are down. Move! Move! Move!"

Aboard the dropship, Roona waited patiently and silently.

Heart thumping in her chest, she felt anxious, but her features betrayed little of her feelings. Like the most battle-hardened soldiers, she knew that it was best this way. She did not wish for the others around her to see any hint of weakness, no signs that she was soft in any way. But beneath that stony exterior, it was a different story.

Roona felt the dropship rock slightly as it exited the hangar, and her hand reached up to hold tight to a ring that hung from the ceiling. The other personnel aboard the ship steadied themselves as well. Though the Ysannan was force-sensitive, her abilities were not honed – they were still very much in a raw form. Her senses grew heightened, and she used her ability to guide her bullets, but that was it. Still, she did feel that it gave her a slight edge. There were Jedi present; she hoped that their training and abilities would help speed along their mission tonight.

As their ship was unable to set down, she listened as the pilot explained their plan.

When the ropes went down, her sharp eyes watched as soldiers began to descend. She gave a small nod to those accompanying her tonight, and then placed her helmet over her face. Unlike other times, she was not wearing the Katarn armor so emblematic of the Rangers – but something new. It was an armor set that had originally been designed for the Silver Shadows, but it had proven to be a good addition to the sharp shooter’s arsenal. The layers of shadowsilk would keep her movements silent and the additional coatings of reflec would keep her off the radar. Of course, she did sacrifice a great deal of protection, but she would be counting on the soldiers in her company to do their duty well.

With helmet, weapons, and gear in place, she made her way to the open door and took hold of the rope. Down she went, quickly and easily – landing waist deep in swamp water.

It was time for the group to move in to investigate the convoy, and hopefully discover some clues to the whereabouts of their missing Raiders. With her nightvision activated, she knew that there were bodies… she only hoped that she did not know them. But as the group advanced, she would crouch and move off to the side. Roona would creep low into the bushes and brush, quietly finding a clear view of the convoy while still remaining hidden.

As the others continued on, she would be there to watch for trouble – and hopefully take it out.

Kat boarded the ship and stood in silence, watching as the others talked and readied themselves for the oncoming mission. Looking out as the ship flew to the drop off point, height wasn't too steep for her to jump outta the ship without the ropes. Her legs would be fine, they were built to be strong for heights. When the call for them to jump out, Kat watched as one of the other Rangers jumped out of the dropship.

Kat moved to the edge, looking down as she smirked widely and leaped forward. Her cybernetic legs absorbed the hard landing. Standing to full height, Kat looked around before lowering to a crouch as she moved closer to Roona. "So which way we heading mate?" She whispered closely.

Sukai just gave the late sleeping Jedi Knight a quizzical look before turning back to the task at hand, she just hoped that neither of the last minute add ins did not ruin the entire operation, attributing it more to lack of briefing then skill, knowledge was half the battle. A firm but steady rock engulfed the drop ship as the left the solid ground of the hanger bay, each person on board shifting in weight as the momentum changed as the engines powered up.

For the most part the trip was silent, aside from the Padawan General and her marines, in her mind it was odd someone of Padawan status was a General, and even if they were, sending a General on a black op like mission was even stranger. The again who was she to question orders? But some not even proper tag along order member, 'As long as they get things done smoothly I should not care'. Her inner thoughts where interrupted by comm chatter from the pilot as they neared the convoy, and boy did things not look pretty, whoever attacked the Raider certainly did a good job, a messy one, but effective, judging from the results.

As quickly as the observation came the order for rope insertions came, though Sukai did not opt for such a method, taking her own approach to the matter, leaping out of the drop ships door and into the tree line, quickly hopping down branch by branch before regrouping with those who had already landed. 'This place is as dark, damp and wet as I remember, aside from the fresh smell of death and blood in the air', one of the many perks, or cruses of being a vampire, dead bodies where rather easy to find and she could tell there where many around the remnants of the convoy.

Staying nimble, Sukai leaped from tree stump to root and so forth, keeping herself out of the murky swamp water as they ground side squad members started their slow advance, misses part time mechanic not really having any sense of stealth, her landing being very loud. Suki just shook her head, keeping to the edges of the group, her dark robes, face mask and hair blending into the soggy and rotten tree walls and shrubbery, "I do not believe that there are any survivors, but we should cheek anyways, and look for clues about who attacked and maybe try and pick up some sort of trail".

Whoever had attacked them had to leave behind evidence of their presence, even if it was not any physical objects every living thing made an imprint in the force, and if that did not work, perhaps Sukai could use her noise again to try and seek there would be attackers, or any Raiders that may have been taken prisoner.

She could almost feel it, the faintest rocking motion of the gunship as the pilot cut the thrust, the repulsor's kicking in to hold them there in mid-air. She blinked, her brow furrowing as the light flooded into the previously dimly lit compartment, the smell of the swamp filling the transport as she wrinkled her nose, staring down at the ground, the bubbles water laden ground. The Togruta closed her eyes for a moment, sucking in a deep breath as she gestured to the bench next to her, her mask floated smoothly up to hang in the hair in front of her face as she glanced around the space, at the troops preparing themselves behind her. "Pack it up guys, time to go."

Stepping forward, the young woman pulled her mask onto her face, sealing it in place as she threw herself out of the open doorway, her mind reaching out for the Force as she threw her arms out to the side. She could feel that warm comforting energy surrounding her as her mind reached out for the Force, wrapping tendrils of the force around herself as she pulled herself backwards, slowing her descent as she dropped down towards the ground. A smile pulled at her lips as she slowed her descent down slowly twisting herself through the air her bots touching down on the ground as her Marines slid down the ropes, thudding into the ground around her. Asaraa twisted her head, staring at the Master Sargeant for a moment, taking a sense of comfort from his presence before she took a deep breath and turned to look at the rest of the rescue party.

"So, who else can track? The site may be that way but I'd rather we don't run into whatever hit the Raiders. We probably wanna run with at least one scout ahead, the Jedi can watch our flanks and make sure no-one sneaks up on us."

Stephanie stayed silent pretty much most of the way out. There was lots of conversation, and with the expected terrain, she made sure Leafy stayed behind as eyes and ears on the ship to help out from above.

The time came to vacate the ship in what seemed like a few minutes, and the doors were open and the dank humidity swept in as ropes were kicked out. Just like Mirial - abseiling down to the ground. Stephanie nodded, pulled her respirator mask on and strapped on the oxygen tank to be sure the atmosphere wasn't stricken with some deadly poison or toxin.

Still, she went full force and grabbed onto the next rope and took it like a pro, down to the ground with a smile on her face, just like she did in training.

Landing on the boggy marsh after a few seconds, she noted others on the other side had come down into the bog. She let go of the rope and moved away from the drop zone and looked out at the wreckage's in the distance. Taking a few steps forward, she placed her hands on hips and saw more evidence of the darkness in their galaxy.

”I've got a bad feeling about this.”

Stephanie turned to the Togrutan who had spoken out.

”You sound like you know what you're doing - lead on!”

Sefain quickly slid down the ropes that dangled from the ship, following the lead of her teammates. She touched down, and quickly took in her surroundings with the aid of the force.

As far as Sefain could tell, those in the rescue team were the only beings in the general area, but she she had a nasty feeling that it wouldn't remain that way.

Taking her attention off the landscape around her, she managed to catch the words of the Togrutan Padawan.

"I'm a pretty skilled psychometrist if it's of any use. Otherwise, I'd be happy to watch the flank as you suggested." Sefain commented shyly. "I can heal too if needed."

Asaraa exchanged a guilty look with the Master Sargeant, act like you know what you're doing and people react apparently. The young woman could feel the amusement rolling off the man in waves, her imagination very easily picturing the smile under his helmet. "Ah right, ok then," She shook her head, her masked head turning to face Stephanie Swail as she nodded, "If you want to take the right flank and make sure we don't get snuck up on." Asaraa turned to Sefain Gatholil next, nodding at her "and if you wanna take the left."

Twisting around the Togruta glanced over at Sky'ito Yumi"if you can bring up the rear? I'd hate for us to be so careful and worried only to have someone manage to sneak up behind us and catch us by surprise." This was the hardest part though, Kat Decoria and Roona Osmari were without a doubt the most experienced members of the rescue team, it felt odd to be asking them for something, but still. Asaraa sucked in a deep breath and turned to face the two rangers as she inclined her head to the side respectfully. "You two have the most experience in a fight, and have the gear for it," she gestured at the Shadow armour Roona was wearing. "Do you want to take point? You can probably spot something that we'd miss, some sign or trap we might walk into."
