Seeing Er'in cast a spell and step aside for him, Mirvak dropped his shoulders and let his black robe drop to the floor. He ripped the lightsaber from his belt and ignited it instantly, rushing towards Edric Vanyan with a loud roar. He leapt forward, but was immediately cut off by a wall of fire. He raised a hand to shield his face, blinded by the sudden brightness. He lowered his arm and roared in protest, both his arms shooting up again in a sweeping motion, using the force to try and clear a path through the fire.

Er'in continued to step away from the flame and towards Beltran, smoothly drawing the sheathed blade from her back and letting the wrappings scatter to be caught up in the fire and burnt, there was no sense in disguising the occult weapon now.

Anger must be leashed by intellect my child, you have given in, now you must resist.

She swore she could hear the hissing words of a long dead Emperor echoing through her head. Chit. Maybe she could, her life had gotten weird enough of late. She smoothly saluted Edric with the classic form of a saber duellist - or of a Makashi duellist, although she did not wield a lightsaber, then continued to move sideways to put herself nearer her ally and clear his line of fire. She didn't speak, her features barely moved from the mask of focused emotion that had formed as she cast the spell.

His command of fire was impressive, she could hear Mirvak's roar from the fire side of the wall of flame. I wonder if he burns?

She raised her free hand, fingers dancing an intricate web. This was less Sith magic and more Danthomri Sorcery, but to Er'in, it was mostly the same set of techniques, rather than using the dark side as a blast, you compressed the air using the dark side - or the greyish neutral side, if you believed in that sort of thing.

"Degonis fetiz!"

The air before her hand roiled and compressed, then surged forward to explode into the wall of flame nearest Edric Vanyan - it's intent to fan the flames and send them surging out in all directions, an uncontrolled strike to limit the pyromancers movements and allow the stun shots to slow him down or stop him, or to force him to control the flames to avoid getting burnt, and hopefully to prevent return fire.

Jakku, Ancient Imperial Ruins, Unknown Time

"Hurt m-- No, damn it, but he's about to." Focusing up at whoever she'd ran into it was clear her intended warning was only driving them to enter deeper, and a scowl began to cross her face at this. The roar of the angry worgian echoing down the halls, causing the girl to tense up, "There's about to be a full on war down there, and those aren't stable ruins." Finally able to assess who she had interrupted, Alba took one sharp step back, her hands quickly going to her sides. It clearly was a sight that inspired a bit of fear, "Though you look like someone who's gonna engage them anyways..."

A low exhale left the mostly-breathless scavenger and she shook her head then, "Good luck if you decide to go deeper. Me, I'm getting out. Or finding another way in. One of the two."  And with that she would try to move past him, towards the exit.

It took her time to do it, but she had finally caught up with Edric. Well sort of. He didn't know she was even there and Zesiro wanted to surprise him. So while everybody dashed inside, she followed at a slower pace. He was alive and that's what mattered. What was transpiring inside, she didn't know. However the sounds of confrontation and the clear use of the Force was a tell tale sign things were going south.

Letting out a sigh, she headed inside. Not yet having gotten a new lightsaber, she was reluctant to pull hers out. The fact it was red could be quite troublesome at times. Her hand hovered over the hilt as she quickly dashed into the building. Not far in, she saw somebody she never thought she would come across again.

They had met probably two years ago when she was with the First Order. She had kept her identity secret for a while and he didn't know her real name. Instead he had given her a name she used to this day, Ava. He had also attempted to teach her how to shape wind. However, at that time it had failed. However, a recent run in with her sister had reopened the door for her and she could on a novice level toss air around slightly.

Seeing he was engaged with what looked like a sentient wolf, she dashed past them to find Edric. Leaving behind an illusion of herself that if they attacked it would act like it was taking hits and die in front of them. It was a rare skill and she had never seen anybody else perform it except her first master. It was one of the few skills he had taught her she used to this day.

As long as neither the wolf or Akabane noticed her real form, she would pass them and head further in to find Edric. On her way past, she would send a light swat to the rear end of Akabane with a small smirk. She just hoped it wouldn't distract him for the confrontation he was in and cause him to get hurt. Eventually she reached where she felt Edric.

He was engaged with two others and quite similar to how they battled the slavers when they met, Zesiro came up to his side to face off against one of the two.

"Thought you might need some help, Edric. Just doing my job here."

The girl was in a panic, Akabane assumed the cause of it was the fight. After a sigh, he kept on listening to the young lady. She said something about a full on war going on down the hall, he laughed. "So they want to bloody their hands over some treasure? Interesting..." at this point, his care for the treasure was almost nonexistent. Killing eachother over an old item was foolish to him. Though he understood there were many types of people that fought over these things for their own reasons, sometimes an act of selfishness or for helping someone else. Whatever their reason, he didn't want to be seen as someone like them.

Akabane grinned. "An impressive roar from a beast, yes? It might only roar however." he said trying to make the girl feel better. He sensed a little fear in her all this time, anyone would be scared of a group of people going at it. "You're correct. My opposition is that lovely roaring worgian unfortunately." he confirmed her assumption. She announced that she would be leaving and moved past him. Akabane didn't know if she owned any weapons but an extra blaster never hurt. "Hey!" he detached a blaster pistol from his belt and threw it behind over his shoulder. He wanted her to catch it, still looking forward. "Hold on to that for me." he darted off in the direction of this 'war' as soon as they were finished.

Almost there... he stopped for a minute after feeling a touch on his bottom. Strange. he thought, brushing it off moments later and continueing moving. Once he got around the corner... oh what a sight to be seen. Usually, being silent and attacking that way by surprise would be better. But this time, this time was very different. Two of Metus' apprentices were standing there fighting against one man and woman, and for some reason separated by fire. There was also a man with a blaster fighting his new friend too, though he couldn't be sure who was friendly with who. This situation was incredibly stupid.

He held fire users in high regards any other day but his new partner was exceptionally skilled. A wall of fire? Insane! Excitement had come over him but he realized watching wasn't why he came. No, he came to help Edric. Akabane wanted everyone's attention so he clapped real loud. Grinning, he removed his hood and mask, tossing it to the side. "Oh? A fire user? Good, good." some laughter came out of him. Then, he gave Mirvak a cold look. "You scared a lady ya know..." he was in fact angry but not because of what Mirvak did, it was all an act. Wind circled around him gathering speed every second, then it would stop all of a sudden.

"...unforgivable!" he let out quietly with a smirk. Akabane started running towards Mirvak. Letting great wind surge their way would've been an awesome move, but friendlies were in the way. The wall of flames was doing them all a favor so he wouldn't risk doing anything that might remove them.

And then traitor Akabane ran faster than ever before, sliding in between Mirvak's legs and once on his feet, he'd go for a kick to the wolfman's head. Akabane was quick but he had doubted the worgian would take a hit so easily. It was his robotic foot doing the kicking, if it hit someone... ouch.

Cato remembered being told once that the biggest problem in the galaxy was that nobody helped each other. The bandits who had attempted to ambush him on his way here, however, seemed amicable enough to allow him to loot their bodies.

Riding over the sands at speed swelled up a cooling breeze in the beating heat. No doubt there would be others who had heard about the Observatory and were already on their way. Perhaps they were already there, given his delays.

Peering into the distance, a section of a structure jutting out of the sand caught Cato's attention, followed by an adjustment of his course. Arriving closer, his eyes were drawn to a speeder that had been cut in half. Not seeming derelict, he assumed it had been done recently.

Slowing down and stopping a bit further out than the other speeder, Cato noticed multiple footprints in the sand. Even though he was motivated mostly by curiosity, he knew how defensive some treasure hunters could get about anyone intruding on their business.

Pausing at the dark entrance for a moment, he continued downwards. By the sound of the footsteps upwards, however, he knew he wasn't alone.

Location: Inside the observatory, engaged with Edric Vanyan

Allies: @Er’in Tenel Mirvak

Engaging: Edric Vanyan

Beltran had to admit, he was impressed by Edric Vanyan. No sooner had the mercenary made his allegiance known did the younger man spring into action, raising a piece of floor paneling to block his shots. It was a creative, albeit temporary, solution to a serious problem: the fact that he was facing enemies on both sides. What was even more impressive was that the boy was able to manipulate his flame at the same time, effectively cutting off the massive wolf-like creature from the fight.

At the edge of the mercenary’s perception, he felt the slight tingle of doubt enter his mind. Maybe you picked the wrong side. He heard The Jester’s voice tease inside his mind.

Beltran narrowed his eyes and forced his mind to adopt the stone-like discipline he had honed over the many years of his career. He knew there could be no room for doubt. Beltran had made his choice and now he had to ensure that it was the right one. Doubt would only get in the way of his getting paid, and probably get him killed at the same time.

For the next two or three seconds, Beltran continued his barrage of stun blasts even despite the fact that they were being countered by the durasteel panel. In this time, he used his ability to read body language to learn as much as he could about his opponent. The first thing he learned, was that the boy had an anger problem. He might not have been screaming or shouting, but Beltran could tell that the boy had been truly enraged.

This fit well with Beltran’s earlier analysis of the boy’s sense of entitlement. Obviously, the younger man had a problem being told no. Right now, he suspected that the boy’s anger was fueling his abilities. Even in those untrained in the Force, controlled anger could provide focus. Beltran knew that from experience. However, uncontrolled anger was a liability and the fact that Edric had been so enraged so easily could very well prove to be a vulnerability down the road.

Next, Beltran allowed himself an instant to take in the rest of the scene. Though the creature, Mirvak, was effectively cut off from this part of the battle for the moment, Beltran was not without allies. The woman, @Er’in Tenel, who had paid him remained on this side of the flames. As he fired, he watched her through his peripheral vision as she sidestepped around Edric and closer to his side, drawing some kind of sword as she did so.

He had no idea what it was, or how it would measure up to the lightsaber he was sure Edric now had in his hand, but he had read the woman’s body language as well. She was confident, but not exactly cocky in her demeanor. She had a sense of focus about her that Beltran respected. She seemed like the type of person to know what they were doing.

In an instant, Beltran knew what he had to do. If he left the young man alone too long, Beltran was sure he would be able to conjure up some other power to extricate himself from his current circumstance. The boy was too dangerous for Beltran to let that happen. He needed to be overwhelmed while his attention was divided between keeping his blaster at bay and keeping the wall of flame up.

“Wait until you hear it,” He said to the woman next to him, deliberately being vague about what exactly she would hear. “Then charge.”

Without waiting for her response, but trusting her to read the situation and act accordingly, Beltran began to walk purposefully toward Edric. As he did this, he increased his rate of fire while simultaneously switching between stun and kill.

The idea was that each killing bolt that hit the durasteel panel would cause increasing amounts of damage to it, and the force with which it hit would hopefully force Edric to concentrate that much harder on keeping it in place. Then by alternating with the stun blasts, he took full advantage of any shift in the panel’s position caused by the previous killing bolt to allow at least some of the energy to strike it’s target.

Furthermore Beltran’s reason for closing the distance between them was two-fold. Firstly, by approaching Edric, he decreased the risk of missing his target and increased the force with which each bolt hit home. Secondly, he had a surprise in store that he hoped would distract Edric just long enough to allow the woman to get inside his defenses.

Lorrdians had a reputation in the galaxy for being uncanny mimics. For reasons both ancient and too complicated to get into right at this moment, most Lorrdians were able to alter their voices to mimic just about any sound that could made by human vocal chords. In short, Beltran could alter his voice to sound like literally any of the beings he had heard speak during this encounter.

But that was not his plan.

His plan was to mimic a very specific bird call he had once heard as a child on Lorrd. That of a Razorbird. The Razorbird was named, not because it was some kind of powerful avian predator. In fact, it was tiny and basically defenseless. It’s only claim to fame was its call: a powerful screeching sound that actually felt like it was cutting into you when it was emitted. It didn’t do any damage, but it was extremely unpleasant and, he suspected, the last sound anyone would expect a man like Beltran to make.

He hoped that the dichotomy of seeing Beltran as one thing, and hearing him as something completely different would provide enough distraction to the already taxed Edric to make him slip up and give the woman an opening.

To further that aim, he threw one more unique ability he had into the mix: the ability to “throw” his voice. That was a term used in ventriloquism for the ability to make one's voice sound as if were coming from a different direction.

He had only done it a handful of times in the past, and only over a very short distance. That was why he pressed his attack until he was so close to Edric that his blaster muzzle was almost touching the durasteel panel. Then he opened his mouth, took a deep breath and let out a powerful, inhuman screech that cut right through the din of the battle.

Had the screech sounded as if it came directly from Beltran’s mouth that might have been one thing. Instead, however, he was able to throw his voice in such a fashion that it actually seemed as if the call originated from right beside Edric’s head.

Unable to speak, knowing that the continuous switching back and forth from stun to kill would quickly drain his rifle and certain that if the distraction failed he would be well within range of Edric’s saber, Beltran sent a single thought out into the void, hoping that the woman would understand the meaning of the words he’d uttered before.

Go. Now.

Edric had alot to focus on in this fight of theirs, the first of which being the Worgian trying to break through the wall of flames that Edric had prepared. Akabane should have the creature under sight, making sure that it was distracted for Edric. The last thing that Edric needed was for Mirvak to break through his wall of flames and reach him, something that would create more issues than the other two had so far.

That then brought to mind the durasteel that he had torn up. Contrary to Beltran's belief, he did not apply force to keep the plate there after having torn it up. It was merely bent up like a shield, and so the shots that hit it slowly bent it back down, revealing more of Edric as time continued. Each shot bending the plate away and creating a bigger window for Beltran to take down Edric. He had to deal with this man quickly but the woman was also a danger which kept him from reacting as he should and kept him focused on the other force user. If he could find some way to distract the two of them he would be able to win this easily.

It was then that he noticed the switching between fire modes. And an idea came to mind, his body turning to mirror @Er'in Tenel while keeping his ears trained on the sounds coming from the rifle. He would need to react in time to deal with the plasma that was being launched from the rifle, certain the right shot hit him when he wanted it to. For now though he would focus on the witch's own actions and more specifically the spells she was casting.

The benefit of facing witches was the fact that she spoke before acting, or atleast moved her lips to form the spell. While he did not know what was to come, he did know it would come in the first place and he watched her closely to figure out what it could be. He knew a small amount, just enough to keep him alive but Metus will need to help him out with this whole idea of spells. Last thing he thought he would face was witches, at least without the old witch master himself near by. This was likely one of those Dathomiri women, considering the affinity for using the spells over force powers.

One thing he could do though, his hands already working to raise the saber and the other to grip at the flames which had formed the wall, was distract the woman or disrupt her efforts. With that the same confident voice started up the moment @Er'in Tenel started to skirt around to get closer to Beltran.

"Now now my dear, why don't we all just calm down. I would hate to burn such a lovely face and ruin your chances in the galactic scene. Such a lovely voice should keep such a lovely face to make your manipulative ways ever more effective. Hell, such a sight makes me swoon at the very sound of your vo-" Edric cut off and the fire in his hand dissipated the moment a certain voice showed up in his mind. No, it wasn't his mind, that voice sounded too solid.

Glancing slowly to his left he found his eyes focusing on Zesiro, who stood there beside him. He blinked, completely forgetting about the fight for a second as he stared, his mouth still open and unsure if he was imagining it.

"Zes? Wut... you... I... uh... fight." He turned his head away instantly and tried to focus back onto the fight, obviously more distracted now than ever and the anger that had been fueling his force powers melting away until he was slammed in the chest by the burst of compressed air, sending him rocketing into the side of the hall way and causing him to slump over as the impact knocked him further out of focus. He was not unconscious but he was not moving at that moment as his face was still blood red and he was trying to refocus.

Her intervention was unexpected and what happened to Edric caught Zesiro by surprise. While he was knocked back and hit the wall, he fell down slightly stunned. She had walked in while he acted totally different than she had ever seen him, he now sat there blushing like he had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. For now, she took her job and position seriously and moved to stand in front of him.

Taking up a defensive stance in her body, she was prepared to defend him if the need came from any further attack. Her blue eyes scanned the area, but he had been knocked away from most of the confrontation. Holding one of her hands down, she would help Edric up when his senses returned and he could get up.

"What have you gotten yourself into, Edric? You left me behind! If I'm going to stick by your side, you can't do that."

There was clear admonishment in her voice, but a slight bit of humor as well. He was his own person and could do whatever he wanted, but at the same time had asked if she would be his personal guard. So that was why she was here today. She placed a barrier up to keep the shots from Beltran hitting either herself or Edric.

Mirvak's attempt to push the wall of fire down only amounting to making the wall shudder momentarily. The beast thought for a moment to just jump straight through it, when his ears perked up at Akabane's clapping. He turned slowly in a menacing fashion, glaring down Akabane wordlessly. As Akabane charged forward he raised his lightsaber and slashed at him, missing and leaving a glowing red mark on the floor. The spry man successfully went under the beasts legs, but as the kick came up the beast raised his right forearm, blocking the kick with his meaty arm. Mirvak then attempted to roll his arm over the leg and grip it under his shoulder, if he was successful he would spin Akabane around him once and throw him through the fire wall.

Er'in went to move on the bounty hunter's command, then paused as first the woman appeared, then the kid (she really couldn't think of him any other way) took her shot square on and flew sideways. She winced, it was a good job she hadn't been going for a killing shot.

Still, she didn't have all day and it sounded like Mirvak had a dance partner too - or else he was just running around the room on his own.

But she didn't have all day, she and the mercenary were the deepest pair into the structure and this area really didn't look that stable. Time to bring down the house. Or enough of it to delay pursuit, anyway.

"Nice trick, I like it. Now let's go."

She said to Beltran Rarr, reaching out with a hand to a particularly unstable looking part of the celing, then wrenching the supporting duracrete free to bring down enough of the roof to block the passage further in - not forever, that would have brought the structure down on her, and she didn't have that much control or strength - but enough that people behind them were going to take a little while to catch up, and a little while would be enough time for what she wanted.

Then she turned and ran down the corridor without waiting to see the dust clear.

"We came to do a job! Not play with fire and entertain guests!"

The kick didn't hit its mark as he predicted, and unfortunately for him there was a quick counterattack. Akabane felt Mirvak's tight grip on his leg as started to spin around. He barely had time to get dizzy, after one spin the wolfman threw Akabane through the wall of fire. The throw was so powerful, launching him many feet past the fire. It was brief but the flames caused immense pain as he traveled through them. Thank god it didn't last long.

Akabane flew past everyone and skidded across the floor a few feet on his back when he landed. This was perhaps the most painful part, his back scraped all to hell and clothes ripped from the contact. Standing up, he hissed at the pain. He experienced far worse before but pain was pain. Akabane appeared to be the furthest into the ruins now, well until the ceiling came crashing down. Er'in and Beltran running down the hall past him. Remembering who the enemies were, Akabane stood up and went after them. "Fine. I guess it's my turn to take them on." someone had to keep them busy.

Edric was already struggling to keep himself focused from the last attack and Zes' arrival, the last thing he needed was to feel an intent he did not have any interest in entertaining. His eyes, as slow and weak as they were, turned towards @Er'in Tenel, watching her reach out with the force and his own hand shot out. Not at her though, instead he reached out to create a pocket of his own influence on a specific area as the walls and ceiling began to crumble. He would give himself and Zesiro an opening, holding the area stable for just long enough for them to get through. He had to be careful with this though, the hole not very large and his vision still blurry.

The problem next was the fact of a sharp pain in his chest. He wasn't certain, but atleast one of his ribs was broken, if not more. He would need to mend the wound as best he could with the force before he could even think about walking out of here, something he would need to do once they were through the hole. Which made him only consider one option at that point, his eyes finding their way up and focusing on Zesiro weakly.

"Zes, I need you to drag me through the hole I am keeping open for us deeper into the ruins. You are going to have to trust me on this one, and I would go myself, but I cant exactly move too well. So please, carefully, drag me through that hole while I keep it open. I would suggest some speed if at all possible, I cant really focus too well and want to be away from the Worgian if at all possible, and being trapped in these ruins is far better at the moment."

He hoped she would simply agree. He could deal with her complaints and berating later about how irresponsible he had been to get in a fight like this alone, or to even run off this far ahead, or to ask her to bring him into a ruin, with as far as they knew one entrance that looked to be sealed off once they were through the hole. All of which were Valid concerns but Edric was a tad more focused on retrieving that holocron. Something that he would waste far too much time repairing his body now and then clearing the rubble once it had settled. If they got past it before it settled, that would give him enough time to heal up then catch Beltran Rarr and @Er'in Tenel.

Once Zesiro would start to drag him through, assuming she did, he would be able to focus his attention on the stable area. His pain numbed for the moment and his eyes closed. He would be dragged, mostly carefully but a unexpected bump at the end would shake his concentration, and a stone would fall from his grasp, striking him in the temple and his arms faltering. Luckily as he slipped out of consciousness for a second, and the hole collapsed, they would be through by that point. No crushed bones, no more wounds than the head and his ribs, for now they had a moment of rest as they were sealed inside the ruins.

"Good... now... I need to rest for a moment. Do keep an eye on me incase I stop breathing." He tried to smile at Zes, the gash in his temple bleeding heavily, and one eye barely open while the other remained shut. He would soon close the second and put himself into a trance while he worked on repairing the damage to a state he could operate in once more without causing more damage or pain to himself that would be unbearable to fight in. He knew there would be more fighting, but he hoped with the woman now separated from that dog, they would have a higher chance of solving things diplomatically.

Feeling a surge in the Force from Edric, Zesiro looked down at him and listened to what he was saying. He had been hurt which was quite likely due to her arrival and accidentaly distracting him. However, it allowed them to avoid the blasts from Beltran and took them away from the fight for the moment. After hearing what he had to say and his request to move him, she did exactly as he asked.

Dragging him through the small hole, one of the rocks fell and smacked him directly on his head. It didn't knock him out, but it did hurt him and caused his head to stat gushing blood. Her time working the streets of Kesh had brought her face to face with quite a few fights and injuries. So she knew head wounds bled the worst, but she didn't know any real healing skills and didn't have anything along with which to bind his head.

The hole sealed up behind them and the dark surrounded them. That lasted only a few moments though and she had saber out to provide at least a little light for her. Hearing his request, she sat down next to him on the ground to keep an eye on him. When they got out of this though, he was going to get an earful from her about all the things he had been thinking about.

Location: Inside the observatory, following @Er’in Tenel

Allies: @Er’in Tenel Mirvak

Enemies: Edric Vanyan Zesiro Akabane

Engaging: Edric Vanyan Zesiro (disengaging from both)

In the time it took an eye to blink, the entire battlefield had changed. A newcomer, a woman had arrived to help Edric Vanyan, which was just as well because now the boy found himself lying on the floor dazed from his ally’s previous attack. Beltran hadn’t expected the blow to connect at all, much rather knock the boy out of the fight which was why he’d intended to press the attack. Now he found himself standing in front of Edric and his new ally, feeling somewhat awkward.

That’s because you’re an idiot. The familiar voice of The Jester spoke in his mind. Beltran didn’t respond, instead pushing down mentally on that facet of his personality. The woman, @Er’in Tenel, was right. There was a job to do and now that he’d been paid, she was his employer. At least for the moment. Keeping his blaster pointed at Edric and his new ally, Beltran began to back step away from the fight. He didn’t question whether they should have waited for the wolf creature who was still engaged behind them.

He really didn’t care.

As the structure around them began to crumble, Beltran turned and took off at a sprint following behind Er’in as quickly as he could.

“Well,” He called out as they ran. “That was interesting.”

The wookiee turned to his quickly dressed comrade. Yelling a reply over the sound of the alarms and sparking console. "Hrrrrrrrrg!" ["Listen! Those two planets are both covered in sand! They're also wastelands of nothing! It's a mistake you would make too!"] 'Shiv' quickly flipped a series of switches on a sparking console before it quickly burst into flames. The wookiee again screamed he placed both hands on the controls, and pulled up. "Rghhhhhhhh!" ["We hit something coming out of hyperspace, the engines are fried! We're going down Chips! We're going down!"] Another explosion rocked the sky's of Jakku as the ship's engines finally gave up. Blowing out a back section of the ship as they finally reached their limit.

Location: Observatory Computing Chamber, in front of the doors to the Sith Vault

Allies: Beltran Rarr Mirvak

Enemies: Edric Vanyan Zesiro Akabane

Engaging: Edric Vanyan Zesiro (disengaging from both)

"I swear I am surrounded by aristo idiots no matter how far from Hapes I go!"

Er'in replied by way of a response as they hurried down the corridor, she could hear someone behind them, but they could catch up in their own damn time, and she'd deal with them then.

"I'm Er'in, pleased to meet a real professional."

They emerged from the (surprisingly short, really) corridor into an ancient chamber filled with banks upon banks of strange looking computers - they were weird and alien eight hundred years ago, now the dust of centuries has made them quite exotic indeed. Somehow, many are still active, flickering lights and the low hum of processors announcing that fact to the world. A flickering, sometimes dying holomap in the middle of the room seems to chart what was the Unknown Reaches, eight hundred years ago. Probes that have never ceased their mission to locate the Vong thread the Emperor predicted endlessly scouting routes in the territory until they fail. It's an astrogators treasure-trove, or an explorers.

Er'in vaults clean through the holo-display without sparing it a second glance.

"The summary I promised," She comments breathlessly. "This place built by the old, old Galactic Emperor back before the plague. No idea why. It's not big, just this place, a storehouse for Sith artefacts and... maybe one of his old luxury shuttles? The latter two were supposed to be guarded, according to the people who broke into this place last. But that was eight hundred years ago. Sentinel droids, auto turrets. No details on the specifics."

She is forced to slow as they approach the sealed doors to the Sith vault - a second corridor goes off to the right, but she ignores it. Any force sensitive can feel the trouble on the far side of the sealed vault doors.

"And I'm not here for the Black Holocron - I mean, it'd be nice if we grab it on the way out. But I'm looking for something a bit more personal than my masters' latest goal. I was just trying to avoid everyone killing each other over the damn thing. Look how that went. You much of a slicer?"
