Most Curious Creatures - Tholatin

In the town of Esau Ridge, built up from a former smuggling den, a series of disappearance and other strange events have been reported by the locals. A pair of Jedi investigators were deployed to look into the reports, but have failed to check in over the two weeks. In fact, the whole town went quiet shortly after their arrival.

During their last known check-in, one Jedi investigator noted the odd behavior exhibited by some of the town’s inhabitants and the existence of creatures that didn’t appear to be native to the planet.

A much larger team of Jedi and Rangers are then deployed to check on the status of original Jedi investigators and see what’s exactly happening in Esau Ridge.

(Characters on this objective will begin aboard the corvette Lightfoot, just landing outside the limits of Esau Ridge. From there, after everyone shows up in their intro post, they should first make their way to the Supervisor’s office to begin their investigation.)

Siege - Nightroad

During a patrol through the pirate-infested Nightroad, the Silver Spacy cruiser Cyrene stumbles upon a pirate flotilla returning from a raid. A short battle ensues, but just as it looks as if the pirates are going to be defeated, they threaten to kill the slaves aboard their flagship, the Roebuck.

Now dealing with the delicate operation of hostage rescue, the captain of the Cyrene calls in special operation units and stealth-minded Jedi to safely retrieve the hostages before moving in on the pirates.

(Characters on this objective will begin in the hangars of the Silver Rest for a quick briefing ahead of the operation.)

Objective: Nightroad

Willa stood there in the hanger of the silver rest where she was looking over at some of the others in the hanger. Her jericho armor was on her. Black from the plating and sleek as the shoulder pauldron on one side gleamed with a blackened bone. Her helmets face mask open revealing her facial tattoo's and glowig eyes. Sniper rifle on her back along with her sub machine guns silvermist, nightwish her saber on her hip as the sonic blaster pulsed with the force. She was flexing and testing the stealth systems of the armor as the stygium cloaking field went around her. Head going to the side as she checked the last things. Her field pistol and combat knife just in case of problems. "Alight padawan be ready and pay attention."

Calderon made another quick puff from his cigarette, taking one last quick drag before discarding it below him. He'd raise one combat boot above the smoldering ember, before bringing his heel back down onto it, extinguishing the flame.

"Those things will kill you, sir." The voice came from a new member of the First Ranger special tactics unit, Corporal Lance Bowers, the fresh replacement for their deceased team member Reese Baker.

Valkren let out a chuckle, before Lieutenant Harris cut in to answer the unfamiliar ranger. "Please, if Calderon hasn't died from everything this galaxy has thrown at him, he's got nothin' to worry about when it comes to cigarettes and tobacco."

Specialist Lowder came up to join in on the critiquing, already sporting his Katarn armor, minus the helmet. "Besides, you stick with us long enough, you'll start to realize you're going to need one of those smokes too, Bowers."

Valkren laughed again, pushing himself up from his propped up position to deliver a 'pat' on Bower's shoulder plate, before picking up his rifle and helmet to move through the crowds in the hangar. His unit all together would sort of move with him, bringing supplies and equipment they were mid-working on just to stay near their commanding officer, and to hear any information that might be vital to the mission ahead.

The Raiders were a quick reaction force, coming up as a simple infantry unit, then transforming into a special forces group led by Calderon with the sole purpose of being the first team on scene of disaster areas, invasions, and well - hostage scenarios. They were trained and equipped for the worst situations applicable, designed to be the 'guardian angels' that people pray so much for.

He hoped they'd be able to answer a few more prayers today.

As he reached the front of the hangars, he awaited the briefing that was expected to come after all team members had arrived.

Objective: Nightroad

Allies: Willa Isard

Enemies: None (pirates eventually)

Varindar was so busy running her hotel these days, with refugee Jedi suddenly being guests in much greater numbers than was the case in the past. Even so, she wore a Mk8 Katarn armor and brought the standard-issue equipment issued to the regular snipers, including, but not limited to, her bulky Chalacta sniper rifle and her lightsaber. She arrived a little early for the briefing concerning a hostage rescue mission - a little different from the failed sting operation on Jakku but also being quite different from the Chalacta one. Oh no, she'd rather not go in without knowing what her role is, nor would she go in there without knowing what the objectives are and the known hazards. The captain of the SSV Cyrene was a little in a hurry, but hostage rescue missions typically were time-sensitive so she knew they had to make the briefing quick and not ask too many questions: any extra question she knew would drag the rescue team down and cause it to fail. Hopefully she can succeed in that sort of operations, and she believed there would be no shortage of Jedi doing that sort of stuff.

Objective: Curious Creatures
Location: Stardust Melody > Enroute to Tholatin (We'll meet y'all there!)
Allies: SJO – Cassius Droma

The blur of space could be seen just outside her passenger viewport, but Inaya’s eyes were currently glued to the screen of her Holoboy Advanced, a gift from her tutor. In the time since being rescued from Circumtore – from the clutches of Orbaa, a Shell Hutt crime lord– the former slave girl had been staying at Silver Rest. Inaya had hoped to continue to travel at the side of her savior, Cassius Droma, but he’d left her behind at the temple while he embarked on a journey of his own.

Those that had been rescued with her were older; they had already been resettled elsewhere. Alone, she’d withdrawn in the company of the Jedi at the temple. It was all very new and unfamiliar.

But, the young girl soldiered on.

She’d arrived with a rudimentary understanding of Galactic Basic; the language she spoke daily was Huttese. Her life as a slave had also deprived her of schooling, but now she was studying everything from mathematics to art. It was overwhelming, but Inaya was picking things up quickly. At the moment, she still lagged behind children of her age, but she was steadily working to catch up. The freedom she’d been given had offered up a wealth of new opportunities, and she would be forever grateful to Cassius and friend-droid, T-4D4.

Glancing up from her game of Angry Mynocks, she looked at the back of Cassius’ head. Seated in the pilot’s chair, he was taking them to a world that he’d called Tholatin. From what she’d gleaned, it seemed that the Silver Jedi had received some kind of distress signal originating from that planet and it was their job to check it out. Recently returned from his journey, he’d offered to take Inaya along. She supposed that he might be attempting to make up for leaving her at Silver Rest. Shifting in her chair, she was curious as to what they would find when they arrived, but she was still trying to play it cool.

“Big brother,” Inaya addressed Cassius, “We there yet?”

Objective: BYOO (food truck)

Location: Tholatin refugee camp

In Ugohr's mind, before he could even think of bankrolling a mining operation on the back of refugee labor, or even a mineral prospection run, for some reason, complete with hydroponic farms, refugees were out there on Tholatin after the Alliance collapsed. IGR and Pizza Hutt were sponsors of the Refugee Relief Movement, and, as such the Gungan was unhappy to be left out of being there with the refugees. The Gungan knew that wherever refugees went, so did food needs: as much as armies marched with their respective stomachs, refugees also did. Here he didn't simply have a food truck at his disposal; he also had an AT-AT barge full of... multicultural nibbles, the very same he sold to Merrill-Valkner on Zonju, minus the space taken up by the food truck. The Gungan readily accepted that the waiting lines would be long, and that he had to make sure that he had enough ingredients in the food truck to serve a wide variety of food, pizza or otherwise, even though only fried food, drinks and pho could be fresh. With his underlings, he began to prepare the kitchen in the food truck for the sales of the day, be it pho, fried food or anything else entirely. Once the first customers arrived...

"May mesa take yoursa order?"

"A large bowl of pho please"

ESAU'S RIDGE, THOLATIN

Allies: Inaya | Josh DragonsflameCassius DromaAllyson LockeYuroic Xeraic

Aboard the Liberté-class Light Corvette, one could look out and view the vast beauty of the Tholatin system. But instead, Tuneel sits, looking down upon his training lightsaber hilt as he holds it in his hands, which was adjusted to be lethal for the mission. He begins to question his ability to proceed with this given task as his knowledge of any forms is insubstantial due to his recent initiation within the Order of the Silver Jedi. Currently, he'll be relying on his LPD-11 Heavy Blaster Pistol to do any dirty work.

He recollects the purpose for his need to join the order, thinking that he mustn't hesitate this departure in order to gain experience in the field.

Soon thereafter, the Lightfoot lands and Tuneel makes his departure for the Supervisor's office, as instructed. He stands patiently in front of the office, awaiting the arrival of the others with his hands resting above his holster.

With his silent demeanor, he thinks to himself that only misfortune will arise in this operation, the unannounced vanishing of the Jedi investigators is much too suspicious to be absent of ill-intent. He'll just follow the lead of everyone else.

Aboard the Lightfoot, Josh had been dispatched as part of a special forces unit to figure out the disappearance of the last Jedi unit sent, as well as to solve the mystery plaguing the town, it's people, the whole planet even. While he didn't tend to do mysteries, he had been assigned to this over the stealth thing, so he supposed he was curious as to the plan here for him. He wasn't sure what skills he possessed for this but... Well, suppose we would find out.

With HK backing him up, he'd been told after the briefing that his partner would be the pilot Allyson Locke. A woman he knew, had worked with and had sparred with. She was competent, and worked well, so he was happy with the choice. The ship would be landing soon though, so he would go to find Allyson, HK in tow, to be ready for the mission.

Objective: Curious Creatures

Location: Stardust Melody > Esau’s Ridge

Cassius Droma had no idea just how much he had missed his beloved Stardust Melody until he was flying her again. His trusty droid T-4D4 had kept her well cleaned and oiled while he was gone, and only flew her occasionally to shake the dust off. In the cockpit, the controls were shiny and the lights were as bright as they had always been. That’s where Cassius was now, keeping track of their progress through hyperspace, the flickering blue waves of the other dimension dancing light across their faces.

He’d been gone for quite some time. Although, he had realized something rather strange when he had returned – not as much time had passed for the rest of the galaxy as it had for him. When Gianna Aegis had made the perilous journey to the high mountains of Ando Prime to collect him, T-4D4 had informed him that only a few weeks, almost a month, had passed. Cassius could have sworn that it had been several months.

Regardless, the time had come for him to return. The Galactic Alliance had fallen, and dark forces were creeping into every corner of the galaxy. Cassius had found his purpose as a Jedi – to wander wherever the Force led him, to help those in need, and to track down and study artifacts from the Force. The Knight Aegis had agreed to help finish his training, as his time on Ando Prime had been cut short.

Cassius had hardly been back a microsecond before he was being volunteered for an assignment from the Silver Jedi. A pair of Jedi investigators had disappeared on the planet Tholatin after reporting some strange behavior from the locals. Naturally, with his psychometric abilities, Cassius was asked to go. Before he left, however, he made sure to pick up Inaya, the girl he’d saved from a life of servitude on Circumtore. A small part of him had felt guilty for leaving her behind at Silver Rest at such a pivotal point in her life, but the pull of the Force to go had been too great.

Now it was business as usual, but Cassius felt different, was different. Stronger, more secure in the Force, a better handle on his emotions, anxieties and insecurities.

Inaya suddenly referred to him as ‘big brother’. Quirking his eyebrow and smiling ever so slightly, he stole a glance over his shoulder at the younger girl. “Just about,” he said, facing forward again. “Watch this.”

At just the right time, Cassius pulled back on the silver hyperspace handle, and the ship snapped back into realspace as smooth as ever. Marbled in yellow and orange hues, the planet Tholatin floated against the dark backdrop of outer space. Plotting a course for Esau Ridge, the YT-1000 gracefully went towards the planet and into the atmosphere. Flying through the rocky canyons, the small town soon came into view. On his radar, he saw a Silver Jedi corvette, the Lightfoot, nearby. Flicking a switch, he sent a transponder signal to the ship, just to let them know he was here.

After getting clearance to land, the Stardust Melody touched down on one of the landing pads, steam billowing from her underbelly. From the cockpit, Cassius could already see little blue furry creatures dotting the town. Furrowing his brow, he said to his droid companion, “Tee, let’s keep the deflectors up so none of those things get on-board and into the circuitry.”

“Way ahead of you,” T-4D4 metallically muttered through his vocabulator, a hint of disgust in his voice. Cassius could already tell that his tall friend would not like the little creatures that awaited them.

Cassius ushered Inaya to follow him as he headed for the boarding ramp. “How has Kashyyyk been?” he asked. There hadn’t been a lot of time to catch up on the trip over since it had been rather short, so he figured he’d ask now.

As they stepped off of the ramp, they’d be greeted with a rather eerie calm from the town. The most noticeable thing was that there were the little blue creatures everywhere. In the street, on top of roofs, in trash receptacles, everywhere. One of them crawled up to the group coming off of the Stardust, so Cassius got a better look at it. They had light blue fur, with long ears that stuck out on either side of their tiny heads. Their eyes were completely black, and tiny bone protrusions that could be the infancy of horns dotted their foreheads.

T-4D4 groaned. “Disgusting things, aren’t they?”

Just then, a human woman came by and scooped up the little creature in her arms, but seemed as if she didn’t hear the droid’s derogatory statement. “Such cute little things, aren’t they?” she cooed at the creature, and it nuzzled its head into her chin.

“We’re from the Silver Jedi,” Cassius would have extended his hand in greeting, but the woman seemed a little busy. “Could you tell us where the Supervisor’s office is?” The woman said nothing, as she was completely focused on the little animal in her arms. “Ma’am?” Cassius asked, and the woman finally looked up. She seemed to look through Cassius rather than at him. Although her mouth was in the form of a smile, her stare was completely blank. “The Supervisor’s office?”

“Oh, it’s over there, I think…” the woman dismissively waved behind her, and then slowly walked off with the little animal in her arms. Cassius looked at her for awhile, eyebrow raised, completely perplexed.

As they made their way further through the town, they would find the rest of the townspeople in a similar condition: content and happy coddling the small blue animals, but otherwise completely vacant in demeanor. Cassius kept caution in mind as he made his way to the Supervisor’s office, hoping to see the other Jedi along the way.

Detective work, mysteries and the like seemed to find its way across Allyson Locke’s desk. One could say she was an Agent that doubled as a Pilot – though the truth was the other way around. Still, her sleuthing skills was spotted by the SIS and that meant she had some of the best training in the galaxy. As much as she wished she had never gone that route, it was a good feeling to know that the time spent with the Alliance didn’t go to waste.

Flipping through the small file she was given she noticed that she was partnered with the Jedi Josh Dragonsflame. Her mind returned to the lovely evening of her sixty-third night undercover and he decided to get a little friendly with the locals – or something along those lines.

The folder found its way to her face as she covered it and mimicked a small scream. She had hoped she could avoid working sensitive cases such as this with the man. As she continued to walk to their meeting point, she kept her face covered. Stopping, she could still smell Zeltros on him and looked up from behind the folder to spot him. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled the aviators she typically wore and put them over her eyes.

Cutting the distance between them, she patted his muscle boobs with the folder and smirked from behind the sunglasses. “This time, let’s keep it in our pants okay? I heard about Zeltros buddy.” Little did he know, she was the one on the other end of his comm. She would head out towards the ramp as the announcement was made it was time to go. They were heading into town and she knew the man would follow, his legs were long enough to keep up with her. "Come now Master Jedi, the ladies of Esau's Ridge await!" Chuckling, the Corellian made way towards the Supervisor's office.

Location: Tholatin, aboard the Lightfoot

Objective: Investigate disappearance of Jedi and civs

Yuroic had wanted to be part of the original pair that investigated the initial disappearances of the people, he end up being assigned as a smuggler to infiltrate a spice ring. That operation went as well as it could have on Zeltros, with several Jedi drunk before the raid happened. Not that he could judge, he ended up high and embarrassing himself in front of another undercover agent, one Adele Crawford. After that mission, he hadn't been able to locate her to apologise, obviously someone who disguised themselves to avoid recognition, smart and he did something similar but not as effectively. Instead he had to live that stupid guilt of his reckless and foolish behaviour. It didn't stop him taking the spice though, the drug was the only way his mind wouldn't torture him over his past. Over his parents.

He could feel the memories and the dark voice crawling back into the foreground, grabbing some spice, he took a large dose. His tolerance was growing as he became dependent on the drug, but he couldn't stop himself, he needed to be cheery once more. Living in misery was too painful, too much. Standing up, he shook the initial nausea of the drug and enjoyed the hard bliss he would feel from it. Checking he had his weapons, bow strapped to his back with his quiver of arrows and then his interlocking sabers were attached to his belt. Yuroix stepped out of the room he made his quarters in the ship, the room had been small but he found that cosy. Also was away from prying eyes which was something he needed.

Looking around, he noticed several other members from the Silver Jedi Order, a new Padawan who was an interesting case, mute and blind. He knew whoever his Mentor was, likely Josh DragonsFlame who seemed to be gathering a posse of Padawans, had a challenge in training him. Yuroic had worked closely and been even closer with a blind woman, Jairdain, who was now a member of CSA. Though Force Sight often made it seem like she could see, there were things he had to remember and often had gestures to help with her lack of sight at times. His mind stuck on those days, they were some of his happiest days. He was younger, carefree and the harshness of reality hadn't taken its toil on him. They were his favourite memories, even better than his childhood. Significantly better, he hated his childhood. He thought more of the happy days, forcing the grim ones away.

Stepping off the ship, he noticed Josh DragonsFlame and the infamous Allyson Locke, he had seen her around Master Nooran quite often. She hadn't interacted much with him from his recollection yet there was a deepseated pang of guilt, like the one he felt for Adele but he couldn't figure out why. They looked different, there were similarities but then you could pull similarities between him and Master DragonsFlame if you tried. Shaking his head, he allowed it all to fade, taking in the happy thoughts once more. Part of him missed Zeltros, there were no brief moments of guilt, or pain or anything upsetting. Just bliss. He looked around and noticed the creatures not native to this planet. He headed towards one to get a better look.

Kat was called by Isard to join her on a mission of slave hostage rescue. Apparently the pirates were in a corner and were desperate to break out. She knew the topic of slavery was a sensitive one and she agreed with most that it was an archaic tradition, sadly there was little way to control the use of slaves. It had been around for thousands of years and likely continue after her passing. One small token was she could free this lot, but that involved stealth. Kat had never been the stealthiest of people, she was in fact quite clumsy at times. A reason why she didn't dance, her sister and brothers were the graceful ones. Her brothers even did ballet was children.

Meanwhile, Kat could trip on air itself at times and make a huge amount of noise. However, being able to get out on the field and do some good was not a chance she got often. So instead of backing out, as per usual, she decided to go ahead. Though now they were in the hangar and she looked at the heavily armoured and equipped Rangers, Kat swallowed hard. She felt less protected and less armed in comparison, however, all she needed was her Force Pike and two blaster pistols in case of a shootout.

Looking at Master Isard, she nodded her head. "Well as ready as I can be. So who's in charge of the mission? Is it you?" Kat asked curious to know. They were told there would be a briefing but not by whom.

"Dear goddess I hope not." She said it quickly and as the first thing out of her mouth while standing there and seeing the others who were here. "I would be terrible for such a task. Instead just let me hang back with a sniper rifle and shoot things." She patted her weapons while getting the lay of who else was here. Not much in the means of a team. Each one would have had different approaches to the situation so she hoped whoever was coming in to brief them or lead them would be skilled at getting others to work together. THis could be very short lived otherways. "Now here take this." She looked at her padawan and was pulling out one of the Jal Naga tench coats. Black synthex with tens of thousands of micro crystals along the surface giving it a shine but adjusting it for the hood and clasp when she tapped the activation. "Stealthy huh? Active camo for moving around and concealing yourself, we have some mufflers for feet as well."

Stealth and tedious situations where something Tana was very familiar with, not needing any force cloak to keep away from the enemy eyes, be silent and much more. In this case a hostage situation on a ship full of pirates, well how could he not join? It was one of the main things a Silver Shadow was supposed to do anyways. Standing around the briefing area the Padawan was joined by the strange Jedi master Willa Isard, the rangers commandeered by Valkren Calderon as usual and even Varindar Asyt who was donned in ranger armor of all things. Quite an interesting look for the hotel manager if he had to give an honest opinion."So do we have a working plan? or we going off a continual feed of information and adapting our procedure as time goes on"? Pirates where radical and things could change at a moments notice, even if the Jedi had not jumped on board just the shear paranoia could spark some unwanted action. "Also where can I get myself some stealth camo Isard-sama? my suits works well to avoid detection but being invisible it always a good leg up against the raider vaders out there".

With that said, Ugohr was busy preparing serving pho to the next customer in line, and, when the Squib cashier took the order next to him, the order was for a basket of fries, thinking that the customer would get more bang for the credit with just a basket of fries than with pho or pizza. The Gungan was, in fact, making sure that, with two registers, the cooking would be happening fast enough to serve as many customers without them reneging. But with styrofoam containers, it was a far cry from how they served the food in proper pho restaurants on Phu. Hopefully the customers would not be complaining about that sort of items, nor the throwaway utensils that were served alongside the food. Thankfully the basket of fries came only with a soft, single-use cardboard basket; the customer at the register next to his was served faster than the pho could be served. But when the pho was finally in a container that could be used to be served to the customer that ordered it, the Gungan didn't hesitate one second in getting the tray to the customer.

Asaraa had settled in the back of the room, her slight form obscured by the shadows as she crossed her arms over her chest as she followed along with the briefing, her blue eyes staring out at the screen, catching the light like a pair of blue diamonds. There was nothing that she hated more than slavers, their willingness to profit off the poorest and most vulnerable elements of society damned them to the deepest pits of hell and now this? This wasn't something that she was willing to let them get away with, nor did it seem like something anyone else was willing to let be either. Her roving gaze caught sight of Colonel Calderon as her lips curled up ever so slightly, if he was here then it looked like the Silver Jedi were pulling out the big guns, and that could only be a good thing. Bending ever so slightly the padawan stalked out of the shadows, revealing hair drawn back into a workmanlike ponytail, the hood of her suit settled on her shoulders for now as she reached for a chair, spinning it around to settle down on it as she waited for the briefing to begin.

Isard seemed very against leading the mission, which was unfortunate in Kat's eyes. Kat held a strong belief that the Master would make a good leader, of at least a small team. Instead, she seemed more comfortable with her rifle and staying in the shadows. Speaking of shadows, Kat noticed Asaraa was lurking in some, so she gave a wave to the fellow Padawan and a cheery smile. While this mission wasn't a fun one, they would be killing pirates, which was going to be good. Saving lives as well, another good thing, so no need to be broody about the whole affair. Holstering her guns, she looked at Willa. Accepting the stealthy jacket, she put it on and then gave it a twirl.

"Yeah... Stealthy was never my forte, I was more guns blazing kinda gal. Well guns blazing if those guns were blades... Not really practised with guns, they just don't feel right..." Kat confessed, her people were never one for blasters, preferring melee weapons or hand to hand combat. Those fighting styles allowed one to express themselves in ways blaster fights never could. "I know you point and shoot but that's about it. Oh! And make sure the safety's off first too. That one too." Kat demonstrated her limited knowledge.

Jyoti was still in the process of zipping up her armor as she jogged toward the hangar with Charlie. Thankfully, Rangers and Jedi had already assembled, an interesting mishmash of kits on display.

"This will be quick, we don't have much time," she started as she stepped into the middle of the group, sealing her collar. "As some of you may already know, we have a life hostage situation on the Nightroad. After the Cyrene disabled Roebuck's enginesand hyperdrive with ion attacks, one of the pirates reached out through a comm system on a docked fighter threatening to kill all their slaves aboard the ship if the Cyrene didn't let up and allow them to repair their engines."

"Obviously we're not going to let that happen. The ion damage is temporary, so they they could have their frigate back in working order within a few hours if not less. We need to use this window to board the frigate undetected to secure the hostages and keep the frigate out of commission."

She held up a small holoprojector, then flipped it on to display a rendering of Corona-class frigate

"Assuming the pirates haven't made any major modification to the internal layout, then we should be able to rely on this for guidance. We'll be splitting up into two main teams. Hammer and Anvil. Colonel Valkren will lead Hammer (team includes Kat, Tana, and Varindar) and I'll lead Anvil (w/ Charlie, Asaraa, and Willa). Following insertion, Hammer will work to secure the engineering and life support, then you will pump coma gas into the ventilation system. Meanwhile, Anvil will slice into their systems and zero in on the location of the hostages."

"I can't stress enough that we need to carry out our objectives quietly as to not alert the pirates and send them into a frenzy. Internal defenses may still be active as well. Even then, we may only have about 10-15 minutes to subdue the pirate crew before they begin to notice our sabotage."

She shut off the holoprojector and clipped it back onto her belt. "Last thing. I understand everyone has their favorites, but if you're not equipped with optical camouflage, then grab a Phantom kit. That is not a suggestion. Okay, let's going."

She bounded to an Eidolon stealth transport, ready lift off just as soon as everyone loaded up. Allyson would have been quite handy here with her mechu deru, but Jyoti possessed her own form of techno wizardy just as important. It was time to play some games.

Willa was listenign to the briefing and raised an eyebrow as her face plate closed. She was moving over towards her padawan with a small look at her before she handed the naga trench coat to her. "Use it, slow movements and focus padawan Decoria. I won't be there with you it looks like so be safe and if you die ah something inspirational and jedi like just pretend I told it to you." She patted her shoulder while turning around to look at the other two in her team. Jyoti Nooran and Asaraa Vaashe both of whom she had no real experience before she checked her equipment crouching down to ensure the camo field worked. The gold of her helmet polarizing and going black automatically for stealth mode.

Charlie followed quickly behind Jyoti, the woman was quick with her long legs so it took a lot out of the padawan to follow. She fumbled a little over her own zipper, but she was able to focus on finishing getting dressed as her Master relayed the information to the rest of the unit.

Before she finished sealing herself in, the padawan shoved a piece of gum into her mouth. Sealed and ready, she made check of her weapons, a lightsaber and a blaster. Nothing too special along those lines, the Padawan preferred the Saber over the blaster.

She had a question, mostly about handling the pirates, but it seemed it was going to be a mission where they were going to be subduing their targets. Her hands were itching for combat, but for the safety of the hostages it was important.

A smile spread across her face towards Asaraa Vaashe, she rarely got to team up with the girl so today was already starting out to be pretty good. Looking towards the other woman, Charlie had never seen her before, but seeing that Jyoti had put her on their team, meant that the Master had some trust.

Charlie nodded, she had nothing to say really. Her mind was geared towards the mission. She followed Jyoti in step and prepared mentally for what they were about to face.
