Ay Ge Giddean Kuat Bandit Six

Skor II-Space

S.S. Rozilyn- S.S. Walden and Stinger Flying Escort

(In Bio)

The Salvage business was a boomin'. Right after Skor II at the behest of his sister Hala Jast Drake had received a little morsel and acted upon it. During the fight it was rumored the First Order had lost one of their prized vessels. A vessel that had stood as an important figurehead for the Grand Moff Natasi Fortan. FIV Concordia.

And now Drake was here, with a small crew to pick the bones like the vulture he was. Low fuel, rising ship repair costs and the cost of doing business was eating away his profits. But this was to be the big haul.

They dropped out of hyperspace, in a tight formation. Rozilyn, his Reclaimer 1 at the fore, followed by Stinger and Walden on their port and starboard. ORC would hopefully be tied up with thier celebration parties, and the whale jerky thing he'd been hearing so much about.

Danni his long time companion was at the helm of the Roz along with a few other of his crew scattered amongst the other vessels.

"Alright we're in system."

"Awesome, Danni go ahead and bring us in closer. Start a low level scan. We're only looking for masses over a thousand meters. No need to alert the whole sector."

"You questioning my ability cap?" She asked, raising and eyebrow and brushing back a strand of black hair.

Drake held up his hands defensively.

"Me? Nooooooooo..."

Ay felt the drop from hyperspace from deep inside the ship, well not so much the feeling, just knowing from the sound of the ship and her exoskeleton sensors. Perhaps she should visit the bridge and see what the captain wanted, after all her main job was mainly security and muscle to some extent.

Donning her sword and jacket the pale skinned 'human' made her way to the bridge of scrapper ship, it's halls rather empty considering all things considered. Perhaps Jasts story about being short on funds was correct after all, though judging from current crew it seemed the focus was on quality not quantity this time around.

Reaching the bridge she spotted the captain along different wreaks from the recent invasion floating in the black void of space. "Statement, one would possibly be able to make more money from just taking the scrape and melting it down into pure ingots then try to retrofit though it is a more efficient way of making warships".

Ay Ge

Drake nodded at Ge as she entered. Then he grabbed a beer from the cooler unit and cracked it open.

"Yeah probably. Unless we sell the remains to some backwater world's sec forces. Or keep the damn thing for ourselves."

He had a lot of ideas floating around his nogin then, and decided Ge had the best of them. Unless he could combine them. After all the Rozilyn was 500 meters of scrapper and reconstruction ship.

"Got something. An FIV Vindicator. No registry numbers on any craft match Concordia though."

"Screw it bring us closer. See if you can pick out an Qekoth flotsam. Try and snag us some of those sweet plasma guns they got. Send salvage drones out."

"You got it cap."

Drake grabbed another beer, popped the cap off with a smooth crisp snap and passed it to Ge.

"Not sure if drinkin' is your thing, but here."

Giddean dropped to one knee, in his new assigned room he could feel the pain of the war that was fought in this sector. The screaming and pain that was thousands of people in their last seconds of life. The force was tainted with the dark thoughts of those that wished to kill one another. He allowed his body to fall to both knees and relaxed his body and mind.

Allow the Force to flow through you and purify the darkness to reflect the light. Rummaging through it all, he focused on the minuscule light that was left after that day. Good will and Loyalty, they were willing to let their life end for those reasons. Though there was anger and pain, many of the souls here did not let that consume their last thoughts before passing.

He was able to regain himself and stand at the ready. Securing his lightsaber into a hidden pouch and grabbing his Blaster Pistol to place it in his holster. This was going to be another long day for him and he was already having it start off on the wrong side.

Walking onto the bridge with the others he looked out the view port. The wreckage of this battlefield were amazing, it he was able to get this information to that one Savager, he would be able to get much of that war material to the Republic. However, he was on mission at the moment. The Codes were more important and the data on the Grand Moffs terminal were more then important.

He stepped over to one of the Terminals next to the pilot. "Easy there ladies," He typed in one of the codes he got from a previous mission. The pilots terminal would light up with any ship that sent out a distress signal. "Got these codes from the Sith Empire, encrypted distress signals with recovery ID, if anyone is still alive on the Concordia, then they will light up here."

He looked over to Drake Jast and Ay Ge, "If she does not, I will take it."

Ay stared at Drake Jast for a moment before taking the beer though besides keeping hydrated there was not much point, her cybernetic systems preventing the pale women from getting drunk. Not did she had a exact opinion on the taste, buuuut social norms or what ever, "statement, thank you for the drink captain".

Taking a sip she let the bitter tasting drink flow into her mouth as the other member of the crew came abroad, here eyes scanning the man as he went about the assigned tasked. A moment ago she felt the mans anguish through the froce at the sudden feel of the dark side and loss of life due to this battle, a fact she too felt.

The problem? Ay did not feel emotions or pain, the feel of the dark and cry of the dead, it meant nothing to the super human, a pro and con to some extent. At the very least she was safe from falling to the dark side... for now. "Observation, if there are survivors on board they may prove problematic, I would request permission to take care of any stragglers that may be on any space hulks we try to salvage".

FOSB Stealth Corvette

Two kilometres from the FIV Fenrir bridge.

Page_divider_FOSB_with_grad.png

Luther breathed in and out slowly, trying to keep his heart rate steady. He stared out of the bridge window, watching as the pilots carefully maneuvered through the debris. All four cockpit crew were present and Luther admired their skill in navigating the ever-changing maze, made exceptionally difficult by drifting wrecks. The corvette cruised smoothly, the Hibridium Cloaking Device keeping them undetected from ORC scouts.

He left the bridge and approached the communication centre. Another four crew members were present, hunched over monitors and terminals. The most senior among them looked up as Luther approached. "Report" Luther said, trying not to let his nervousness show. The radar officer hesitated before speaking: "Nothing yet sir, but what I detect is limited when we operate at such a low range". Luther resisted rolling his eyes. "Not sure how many times I have to tell you this, Ensign" Luther responded. "We've limited our sensor range in order to avoid detection by Coalition forces". A nightgaunt corvette had sensors with a very long range of detection, but Luther wasn't about to take any risks. The ensign opened his mouth to complain, but wisely closed it and resumed his duties. A speaker crackled to life over Luther's head. "Sir, we're approaching the target".

He made his way back to the cockpit. The FIV Fenrir filled his view from the bridge window. Staring out the gigantic wreck, he felt a wave a nostalgia mixed with sadness. He'd served briefly onboard the vessel, and it pained him to see it in this state. He addressed the pilots. "Get us as close, I want the spacewalk as short as possible". The boarding crew was preparing downstairs and he would be joining them shortly. "Once we are aboard, power-down and go dark. I want this vessel looking like another heap of junk until we are ready to extract". With that he spun on his heel and made his way towards the airlock.

They were through the debris field, but his nerves didn't settle. They'd barely avoided ORC scouts on the way in and now they were out of the frying pan and into the fire...

OOC: Concordia also scratched in favor of FIV Vindicator, as a result of discussions with The Major

"Aye that'll be allowed Ge." He replied.

"Send his codes to our new quarry, see if they hold up. Nice work Kuat."

He kept a wary eye out on the panels as the three ships drifted closer. Doubtless they'd be found by Squib patrols, but he hoped to have their target hooked and anchored by the time they found them. Then they just had to jump out of there.

"Stay frosty people. We got this in the bag."

Skor-II Space

FIV Fenrir bridge.

Page_divider_FOSB_with_grad.png

All he could hear was the hiss of his breathing as he flew. He and five others clung to the side of a large crate as it travelled soundlessly through space. Their target loomed ever closer, the FIV Fenrir.

The Fenrir was an embarrassing footnote to the earlier battle. A Dagger III Escort Frigate that was lured away from the other vessels, subsequently crippled and abandoned. Several groups of fighters had blasted the bridge, destroying all control. The rest of the crew downstairs had then evacuated, and the ship was left to float.

The crate touched down on the outer-hull, a short distance from the shattered bridge. A sharp vibration trembled through the handholds as the magnetic lock engaged. With the crate securely in place Luther twisted around, resisting the wave of nausea as he re-orientated himself.

The bridge was barely recognizable. A scorched wreck, it took a longer than he expected to find the right spot. "Here!" he said finally, gesturing to a panel beside what was once the central controller. He stepped aside as two of the crew brandished fusion cutters. They made short work of the metal, removing it to reveal large bundles of thick wires and one emergency control port. "Bingo" Luther whispered. He brought up a large datapad, attaching it to the control port. It brightened as it started downloading data. It paused for a while, before displaying the ships status. Luther grinned.

"Majority of the ship seems functional” he said. “We have a good chance of pulling this off!" The rest of the ground crew cheered as Luther turned towards them. "You have your orders. Let's get this baby moving!"

Back on the stealth ship, the comms crackled to life as Luther contacted the cockpit. "Evac is unnecessary, we've restored functionality. Proceed with phase two". The pilot responded in the affirmative before switching to on-board comms. "Attention crew" he said. "Phase two is a-go. Command of the ship is transferred to Lucius Draugh".

The crew aboard the Fenrir pulled portable shutters from the crate. Hauling them up to the ship, they worked on the slow process of resealing the bridge. While they worked, Luther checked the systems. Most of the Auxiliary systems, along with life-support seemed functional, just offline. One of the engines was damaged, however, as was the shields. He sent two members towards the back of the ship, where the generators lay.

With a harsh 'clank' the final shutter was in place and the bridge was sealed. Growing increasingly frustrated with his limited control, Luther was saved from a mental breakdown by contact from the rear of the ship. "Generator is intact, Luther" the comms spluttered. "Excellent" Luther replied. "Start it up". The whole ship shuddered as power was re-established. He felt his ears pop several times as the pressure to the cabin was gradually restored. The shutters groaned but held in place, and the data on the screen showed that the oxygen level in the bridge was acceptable. Five minutes later, the remianing intact lights flickered to life.

To all others within the scrap field, the Fenrir would have shuddered and moved slightly. Shortly afterwards, a bright flash would illuminate the nearby area as all exterior lighting was reactivated. It would appear that the wreck had suddenly come to life
