FIV Fenrir bridge.
All he could hear was the hiss of his breathing as he flew. He and five others clung to the side of a large crate as it travelled soundlessly through space. Their target loomed ever closer, the FIV Fenrir.
The Fenrir was an embarrassing footnote to the earlier battle. A Dagger III Escort Frigate that was lured away from the other vessels, subsequently crippled and abandoned. Several groups of fighters had blasted the bridge, destroying all control. The rest of the crew downstairs had then evacuated, and the ship was left to float.
The crate touched down on the outer-hull, a short distance from the shattered bridge. A sharp vibration trembled through the handholds as the magnetic lock engaged. With the crate securely in place Luther twisted around, resisting the wave of nausea as he re-orientated himself.
The bridge was barely recognizable. A scorched wreck, it took a longer than he expected to find the right spot. "Here!" he said finally, gesturing to a panel beside what was once the central controller. He stepped aside as two of the crew brandished fusion cutters. They made short work of the metal, removing it to reveal large bundles of thick wires and one emergency control port. "Bingo" Luther whispered. He brought up a large datapad, attaching it to the control port. It brightened as it started downloading data. It paused for a while, before displaying the ships status. Luther grinned.
"Majority of the ship seems functional” he said. “We have a good chance of pulling this off!" The rest of the ground crew cheered as Luther turned towards them. "You have your orders. Let's get this baby moving!"

Back on the stealth ship, the comms crackled to life as Luther contacted the cockpit. "Evac is unnecessary, we've restored functionality. Proceed with phase two". The pilot responded in the affirmative before switching to on-board comms. "Attention crew" he said. "Phase two is a-go. Command of the ship is transferred to Lucius Draugh".

The crew aboard the Fenrir pulled portable shutters from the crate. Hauling them up to the ship, they worked on the slow process of resealing the bridge. While they worked, Luther checked the systems. Most of the Auxiliary systems, along with life-support seemed functional, just offline. One of the engines was damaged, however, as was the shields. He sent two members towards the back of the ship, where the generators lay.
With a harsh 'clank' the final shutter was in place and the bridge was sealed. Growing increasingly frustrated with his limited control, Luther was saved from a mental breakdown by contact from the rear of the ship. "Generator is intact, Luther" the comms spluttered. "Excellent" Luther replied. "Start it up". The whole ship shuddered as power was re-established. He felt his ears pop several times as the pressure to the cabin was gradually restored. The shutters groaned but held in place, and the data on the screen showed that the oxygen level in the bridge was acceptable. Five minutes later, the remianing intact lights flickered to life.

To all others within the scrap field, the Fenrir would have shuddered and moved slightly. Shortly afterwards, a bright flash would illuminate the nearby area as all exterior lighting was reactivated. It would appear that the wreck had suddenly come to life
