Oh here they were moving as Alexander led she just happen to look over her shoulder for who might be coming. "Company you say, oh dear and me without anything to offer them." She smiled.

It had been some time since she had been part of any type of operation...this was an operation right? She nodded, "It's Alexander we'll deal with it"What else was there to say really except ok and wait.

The crowd that had been watching moved around sensing something, or just giving them more room she couldn't tell. She was unarmed, so if there was shooting hopefully someone would hand her a blaster.

Deacon was only a few meters from his mark when the crowd shifted long enough for his cerebral implants to flag both Alexander Sannes and Faith Organa as top priority VIPs. In practically that same moment, the suspect's nervous anticipation betrayed him, and Agent Darksword caught a glimpse of a weapon. Brandishing a firearm at a public gathering, it was the kind of violation both Republic and local law would find indisputable, and it was all he had been waiting for. He was on the extremist's flank now, and started pushing bodies aside now, risking the commotion now that they were so close.

Only a few bodies between them now, but then shots rang out from across the plaza. He was distracted momentarily, with only a second or two to process this new information, and by the time the Hapan glanced back at his target he was raising the blaster to fire. Deacon surged forward, lunging. Another shot was fired, this one much closer.

He had just barely managed to collide with Mister Blue's trigger arm in time to shift his aim so the las bolt singed right between the Queen and Senator. Two more shots were discharged, high and wide as they streaked harmlessly into the air above a now panicked and scattering dance circle crowd. The agent's momentum had forced of them bodily to the ground, and he caught a glimpse of an object held loosely in the suspect's other hand. Deacon smacked the detonator out of Blue's hand, but it cost him in his struggle for control of the radical's blaster.

A lance of bank streaked across the side of his head and he lost conscious momentarily. When he regained his senses, his vision was still blurry and he dimly realized he had been pistol whipped. He could make out the faint outline of his target frantically stumbling through the crowd, hands clawing for the detonator which was being nudged and kicked back and forth by oblivious bystanders.

Agent Darksword started crawling after him, blood from his head wound starting to obscure his vision, but too determined to avert a catastrophe to care for the personal cost.

Alexander smiled and as he moved with Faith Organa, a glimpse of Deacon brought the saber down Alexander's sleeve. He would carefully obstruct the item and look at Faith now as he spoke, letting her take ahold of the saber while his other hand shifted, letting another metal object touch his fingers. This one was no where near as clear as to its use, atleast not for now with half of it still hidden up his sleeve.

"Faith, there are two individuals standing guard, I suspect in roughly fifteen seconds we are about to find our little dance interrupted and those individuals leveling their weapons on the crowd... I need you to stop the one on the left, ill take the one on the right, and be careful to watch behind you... we have a third guest who is being dealt with by the bouncer..." Alexander smiled, not changing his expression or making any overt changes in his stance as he moved. The young man had worked with special forces before, and especially had worked with Jedi. He knew faith could protect herself, and he knew she could deal with one random terrorist that was in republic armor.

But what came next was a quick succession of events, Deacon reaching his target and colliding with Mister Blue's arm as the shot fired went high, passing between the two and making Alexander blink a bit in surprise before quickly breaking contact with Faith Organa. It was almost automatic, two items dropping from that second sleeve, two blades that held in the air for a second before coming back to his hands while Faith would be given the sabers. The two, small, daggers were then gripped tight and he jumped up, clearing the heads of the crowd by a few feet with the force and looking at the two terrorist disguised as Republic soldiers.

They were raising their blasters, aiming at the crowd, hesitating but ready to fire. They would fire so he had to work fast. He took the one he said he would, leaving the one on the left for Organa.

The first blade was launched, impacting in the man's chest and breaking through as it punched into him. The second, aimed at his neck and cutting through the body suit. Alexander landing nearby now, his feet breaking into a walk that brought him right up to the man who was still trying to aim as he fell back against the steps. Alexander kneeled down, taking the blaster and tearing it from the man's grasp.

Alexander was a bit sad that he didn't have another option, the man who had been his target was devout in doing what he had come to do.

With a soft grip on the dagger in the man's neck, he brought it to the side, cutting cleanly through and letting the light fade from the man.

It was then that he stood, straightening up and seeing if the other two would stand trial or be buried.

Harley may have been a lax sort of person, never really tense of on guard, it helped when talking with people that get under your skin. Still as an Echani it was second nature to follow peoples movements, noticing certain actions and reacting to them. combine that with the foretelling power of the force and you had quite the warning system in place. As such the moment the blaster went off the Senator was already holding his side arm in hand, ready to use it at any given chance, a sly but at the same time stern smile plasted across his face.

Still it wasn't like it helped in any matter, the discharge of the weapon had sent the room into a panic, people and non combatants scrambled around while what he assumed to be some republic solider scuffled with the shooter. To the side were some other, what he assumed to be terrorists, their emotions and actions letting true to who they really were despite the stolen uniforms. Not that they seemed like a threat as Alexander Sannes was quickly on the cast, driving duel knifes into the both of them, but that still left the first targets.

Jumping down from the stand Harley rushed over to the stumbling terrorists as he shifted through the crowd, leveling the slug pistol in his direction. "Stop and put your hands up or over your head, take one more step and I blow your brains out".The only things stopping him for doing such was the fact they needed answers of some form, who they worked for if there was someone and why they were doing this.

It was a matter of stepping just so first to take the saber, and second to avoid being shot. For a brief moment she felt the familiar feel of adrenaline in her system as she twisted to take the saber, avoid the bolt and then look ahead to the oncoming attacker.

It had been some time but she could definitely handle one attacker.

"Shall we dance" she quipped to the one coming towards her as she smiled sweetly first to lift and block the second shot coming her way, "EVERYONE DOWN"She wanted to get the innocent ones out of the way, which appeared a lot easier as those who had nothing to do with the attack had quickly separated themselves from where the fight was now taking place.

It made her and everyone else easier to see, she didn't have time to look at Alexander Sannes to see what he was doing, but as Faith advanced on the attacker brandishing the saber to the best of her abiity another voice was shouting.

It sounded like Senator Harley Fenstermacher well now this was old home week she had met the Senator before. The attacker however was not going to give up yet, or ever it would seem. Faith shook her head 'mistake' was all she thought as the blade met the next shot.

But was it was with such attacks it was ended by the shot from the guards putting her attacker to the ground. They wouldn't get much information from him now but perhaps his co-conspirator would be more forth coming. Faith stared at the body saying a silent prayer for him and whatever he believed.

BRENTAAL IV

Koda Fett | Mav Vohaloveer

For many chaos was the natural order of things.

They came from it, they'd return to it.

Captain Bao didn't like it. It was in chaos that the malicious thrived. Abusing, exploiting, hollowing out all that mattered. Maybe she should have felt a bit more bad about her current trajectory. She didn't. There was a storm coming, the intel had been clear about that. Any nation-state worth its salt kept a sturdy intelligence apparatus aimed at the regions around it. The slow approach of the New Republic was not a secret. Neither was the silent overtures of Admiral Dasim to Brentaal.

Dasim was planning on making power-plays... and he needed allies.

Bao? Bao had realized that her path forward was slowly shrinking. There were only that many positions at the top. Without the history some of the others had, it was barely possible to punch through. So, maybe Captain Bao should have felt guilty about this plan.

Brentaal was slowly coming down from the Republic's destruction of its embassy. The ascension to the structure all but assured.

But she didn't.

"The Admiral will leave the Humbarine compound in half an hour," She briefed the half a dozen mercenaries assembled in the safehouse. Outside they could still hear the sirens. "They are using two separate vehicles, the front one is a double. We hit them both." Otherwise they might risk questions. How had it been known? Who was the leak? Bao officially didn't know any of this, of course. But the more obvious the answers were, the less questions were asked.

"We move in five. Questions?

BRENTAAL IV

Arage Bao | Mav Vohaloveer

Bao might have perceived their current task as incredibly vital, and if one were to judge the amount of credits that had been poured into the operation - it certainly seemed as if it were. Yet, still, the Bounty Hunter hadn't an inkling of care for their employers ambition; only the length of their greed, and the depth of their pockets. Fett had only ever questioned whether or not Arage could afford the Mandalorian, and, if not, there would be another price that required payment. Nevertheless, Brentaal IV had become worth a meagre thought for the very first time.

He stood as he always had; firm and still, unflinching as if a statue. He cradled the Carbine in his armoured arms, encased in a nigh-impenetrable metal that'd become more infamous for its capabilities if nothing else. Fett's concealed features stared through the T-Visor as his employer spoke, and had nothing to give in response, but maybe that had been an answer in of itself.

BRENTAAL IV

Arage Bao | Koda Fett

In stark contrast to the indomitable and impassive figure cut by the infamous Fett, the Corellian mercenary appeared to be all but lazily sprawled at the back of the conference room, scarcely paying attention to Bao's spiel as he studied the technical readouts one final time. His cigarra blazing a baleful orange hue as he engraved those final details of the convoy's path, a dry smirk creasing his features as he let his datasplint work.  The Assassination of an Admiral. Heh.  If nothing else, the job certainly had a pleasing sense of alliteration going for it. The Good Captain's line of credit didn't hurt matters, either.

"Says here that you're expecting between five and eight guards to be riding along with him." Mav queried finally, glancing up from the datapad in his hand. "Its nice y'all seem to know every little detail down to which side he dresses, but we're talking about a fairly big difference once the blaster bolts start flying."

He snorted and shook his head, huffing a cloud of smoke purposefully towards the aide that had previously attempted to stop him smoking in here in the first place."You got anything more duracrete than some educated guess work for us, darling? I dunno about Fett here, but my charitable disposition ain't gonna stretch to downing eight if I'm only contracted for five.
"

Darling.

The good Captain glanced at him, taking a measure of the man. The sprawl, the cigarra, even the atrocious hat that might have seemed fashionable, if you were rolling around the muck in the Outer Rim. If there was any shred of distaste it stayed out of her expression. You didn't rise in the ranks of the Admiralty without dealing with your fair share of... challenges. "You get paid by the head, Vohaloveer." She finally said, indicating that if everything else stayed the same, that she remembered his name.

This could be either a compliment or an underlining.

Who truly know with a frosty expression like that?

"So, your charitable disposition can remain in your pocket."A tick of her fingers and the display behind her went black. They'd scrub this place the moment they left. The less they left behind, the better. Captain Bao already felt risky about using mercenaries.

But... that was the difference between hired help and national pride. The former only cares about the cash. The latter? They had honor. Which made Arage wonder, if she was truly any better than the cigarra smoking chit over there. Unless there were any other questions, they'd move out. Silent. Her attire was swapped for featureless black armor. There would be nothing overt to trace back to her. That part was truly key. Otherwise all these murders would be for nothing.

And murders they were.

No matter if it helped her.

There was always honour amongst thieves, but maybe that stretched a little further to align alongside murderers, too. Maybe. You could never truly tell. But, they were always of a certain breed you couldn't easily replicate; traumatic childhoods, faulty brain-wiring, the list went on. They never really functioning in genuine society, least that spoke for Fett. He couldn't last. He'd find his hands digging themselves into an eye-socket the instant someone thought they'd pass an inkling of disrespect towards a seemingly innocent passer-by. That Bounty Hunter, however, had been so far removed from 'innocent'.

The Mandalorian, alongside the Gunslinger and the ever-ambitious Arage, among others, were certain to begin. Poor Admiral. They'd only gotten themselves caught up in someone else's dream. They wouldn't know what hit them.

The smirk creasing the Corellian's features widened a fraction. Oh, she was a cold one, sure enough. No doubt already picking out an unmarked grave for him and the Mandalorian both should these go awry. They weren't her people at the end of the day. Just another means to an end - a convenient, deniable tool to be used and discarded once the deed was done. Such was the life of a mercenary; never a dull day when your currency of choice came stained in blood.

"Well, if that ain't us plain old music to my ears, sweet-pee." The mercenary replied, purposefully playing up the drawl in his voice as he snapped an ill-advised wink in her direction.
The cigarra flared once more as he took a final, lengthy drag on its length, smoke billowing from the side of his mouth as he moved to find his feet. "Just keep that in mind when the bill comes due, yeah?"

He jerked his head towards Fett, "I guess we got a navy to upturn."

Upturn it they did.

The operation was fast, smooth and destructive. The point was two-fold.

Make sure it was seen as a stroke of brutality. The target was clear, but the exact location hadn't been known. That would eliminate any optics of an inside job and keep her clear. The other part was to emulate it as part of the initial terrorist attack against the New Republic embassy. That way, if there was any investigations? It would lead that a-way. The piece was removed from the board, but the mercenaries and the good Captain were already gone from the chaos.

It had another side-effect.

Two terrorists attacks in such a short span of time? It made it intimately clear that Brentaal couldn't keep handling things on their own. Trade subsisted on stability. That stability was currently under threat. It didn't surprise Captain Bao (still working on her position) that the diplomatic process had accelerated soon afterwards.

Brentaal would join the New Republic.

She was one step closer to victory.

There didn't seem any losers here. Well, besides the poor Admiral. That was something Bao tried not to think too hard about.

Alexander's hand stopped, looking over his shoulder and watching as both Faith Organa and Harley Fenstermacher subdued the other terrorists, watching people rush away at the sight of what had been happening. They stopped all of this from getting out of hand, stopped the world from devolving further down and being destroyed. His hand turned the blade he yanked free from the man's body and looked on at those who remained, there was little he could do about the cameras on him and the red coloring his normal white hair and light colored clothing. But this was not the first time that he had seen battle and not the first time he had been caught on camera so the man reached down, wiping the blade clean on the clothing he wore before very clearly storing the blade once more.

Then, he focused on what was clearly a news camera, ignoring the more personal videos being taken as he addressed the world of Brentaal very simply. There was little to say about the event but he would clear it today that these acts were not what the Republic wanted from the people who would join the Republic, and that these people were no proper citizens of Brentaal.

"For all those who end up hearing this message, I will make it clear and simple as to what you saw today. These were not acts of stable and strong people such as your own, but the delusions of grandeur in thinking they were something more than they were. These men will stand trial in the coming days, those that surviving paying the price of due process like the man convicted earlier today by your government and ours. Do not let the acts of these people, and their vain attempt to seem important, to sway you to think otherwise."

Alexander remained silent for a few seconds, before finally turning and scooping up the handle to the case for his violin. The young man only then returning to Faith Organa, holding out a hand. The day was over, and he would appreciate receiving his saber back. He had been unaware of the last attempt, coinciding with the attempt on his life and he would find out in the coming days what occured with Arage Bao and her group... but for now he needed some rest.

"Perhaps we can talk at a later point my queen, on Alderaan next time?" He waited, smiling and letting the Republic and Brentaal officials step in to arrest those alive.
