IN ORBIT OF TOGORIA
"What dark times the Galaxy has entered into when it falls upon the brow of the Sith to engage in humanitarian missions." TB-18 pondered wistfully from the bridge of the Cynosure. "It is almost enough to make a fully recognized Super Tactical Droid weep bitter, organic tears."
The slaughter that had taken place on Togoria was enough to leave a wound in the Force, or so TB-18 had been told. Personally, he couldn't tell the difference, but it was supposedly a big deal. One would think with that kind of wanton murder perpetrated by the Imperium's former Empress, the Republic, Protectorate, or some other entity with self-professed humanitarian sympathies would jump in to lend help before anyone knew it. One would have also thought they would intervene in the slaughter. But they didn't. How undeniably strange.
But now it was in the Sith's interests to annex the system. As decreed by the Emperor, they would do so by helping the populace, rather than exterminating the rest of them. From what TB-18 understood, one of Emperor Ardik's friends had been a Togorian. No doubt the Emperor felt he owed it to the man to remedy the unwarranted slaughter of his people. Togorians were a proud, useful lot. Killing them had just been wasteful.
Togorian culture had been bastardized by the atrocities committed there. Now male and female Togorians alike crowded in the burnt out remnants of their capital city, trying to survive as best they could. They were kept there by the roving bands of Togorian cannibals- those driven insane by the Force Wound roved outside of settlements, assaulting anything outside of their own little pack.
Ships burdened with medical supplies, rations, and clean water lingered behind TB-18's 18th Assault Fleet. This was going to be much different than the typical Imperial annexation.
@Saelia Santori would establish an Imperial colony on the planet with the help of @Pandeima
@Gregor Gideon would help coordinate relief efforts in the capital city of Caross alongside TB-18.
There would no doubt be resistance in Caross despite the amiable intentions of the Empire, and so @Dar'jetii would help defend Imperial aid personnel.
Meanwhile, Shinju would take care of the roving cannibal bands. Her name is funny, so she doesn't get formally tagged.

"Where are your friends?"
"Kark you sithspawn"
"No... no I am afraid that isn't the right answer."
Slowly the laughs came as Shinju slid a hand along the mans chest and peeled back at the strip of skin. He was lying and the roaming bands of people here well They needed her tender mercies. They needed the help only she could provide to understand that they were here to help. They were here to perfect and make everyone happy... The first step was to ensure they killed everything impure or troublesome. Then all the ones who came next would fall in line. it was that simple really.
"Now where are your friends?"
His voice cut off as slowly she squeezed his throat. There was no enjoyment in this yet, but his eyes were panicked, his face turning a shade of color and finally... Release, oh release as the fingers drove in coming away in a spray of blood. Coating her face until she simply laughed holding it up. The Dark Desire, a black ship made for the Harvestors was hidden on the world so she could do her job, so she could find these cretins and deal with them. If she wanted to learn more secrets it had been explained she needed to learn from the sith... Or in this case at least help out the empire with the treaty and besides they did have one offer. The Emperor had offered her plenty of happy meals for service... Which she could pick up. "Lets go and find some more... friends for play."

"I'm perfect and can do no wrong, so any insane dribble that comes out of my mouth you should do, cause I am amoral enough that I will kill you just to prove it."

The map of the area of concern spread out over the holotable, color coded and pristine, just as Saelia had requested. She leaned over the the railing that ringed the table on her ship, Sorel, which she was using as her mobile command center. Usually the map projected was that of Dubrillion, where she was overseeing the civil war that was ravaging her planet, but today the map was Togoria. The red areas of the map reflected the parts of the planet not yet pacified; the remainder of the map was a tranquil turquoise color, dotted with green and gray.
"Orbital command, this is Administrator Santori," Saelia spoke into her earpiece. "We're ready for the construction of the temporary space station at point oh seven three." She had transmitted the map to the orbital station and all others involved so that they would all be on the same page. "We'll need this set up first so that our ground relief team (@Gregor Gideon and @TB-18) can start moving in relief supplies. And I need an overfly of the western ridge. I'm still getting raids from the Togorian resistance from that side. Do we have any bombers that can make a sweep?" Her dark eyes scanned the map, then reached over and began manipulating the map in the table.

IN ORBIT OF TOGORIA
"Message received, Administrator." TB-18 responded, hands clasped behind his back in the traditional 'hey look I'm an Admiral' stance. "Squadrons seven and eight have been dispatched to scout and clear the ridge."
Of course there were going to be some Togorians either too insane or too proud to accept aid from an entity associated with the ones that had attempted to ruthlessly exterminate them for some arcane, occult purpose. Attempting to reason with them would only delay the time it took to save the rational Togorians, and so pacification via heavy ordnance was going to be an unfortunate necessity. Fortunately there were no sources of media leaving Togoria at this time. Any hostile actions against the natives would be neatly suppressed. The distribution of aid, however, would be well documented and publicized.

"None right now." The holographic image of Pandeima flickered as she eyed @Saelia Santori. "I have orbital infrastructure to work on, but this will definitely be fun. We'll finally get to test out the Ranator-class Star Destroyer."
What was special about the Ranator? Predominantly the fact that it was the most modern Star Destroyer in the Navy to carry a prefabricated garrison base. These bases, of which there were several, one in each Ranator, were already being prepped for landing. The situation would certainly be growing interesting soon, and Pandeima wanted in when it increased in intensity.

On cue, Saelia saw a series of green, arrow-shaped blips enter the map. "Appreciated, Command," Saelia responded curtly, her fingers gripping the rails again before letting go and turning to a communications console staffed by one of her Dubrillion aides. "Open a channel to our men in the defensive position near the ridge," she ordered. "As soon as our bombers sweep through, I want them to push. We need that space for anti-air and other defensive turrets. I'll send the engineers as soon as the area is in the green."
The Administrator folded her hands behind her back as the man conveyed her orders.
"Logistical command, what's the status on my spaceport?" @Circe Savan

Gregor Gideon was just returning from a leave of absence to the sum of five weeks while he studied in secret, the lost knowledge and sage wisdom of Darth Pewpew. Oh, the secrets Gregor was party to. They were, quite simply, astounding. The Lord of Pew, as he had been known in his time, Darth Pewpew had chronicled his exploits in service to the Sith Empire of his age. Those chronicles were revered amongst a small sect of Sith practitioners. Such as Gregor G. Gideon, Sith Knight and altogether passionately loyal Sith person.
The Pew Pew was on the rise. Gregor had been personally seeing to it that certain individuals, when the proper opportunities presented themselves, were inducted into the Pew. Everything was a potential recruitment test, in his eyes. He would be watching all others, like a hawk. Like a space hawk.
He wasn't quite sure what his purpose was quite yet. Something about a capital city and relief. Gregor knew @Saelia Santori and @TB-18 would have answers, so he set forth to find them and, find answers.

She smiled, still commanding the Gorgon as it led in the group of six Ranators. Prepping for release of the prefab based was almost complete, and soon they would be ready for dropping, in order that @Saelia Santori could utilize their excellent levels of ground support.

Playing Defense was the sort of thing that the Mandalorian known formerly as Isley Verd would have turned up his nose at...unless, of course, the odds were heavily in the favor of the enemy. However, in recent weeks, the warrior had adopted a new banner under which he stood; and as such he received orders that he would not normally undertake. Regardless, it was his duty to utilize every means at his disposal to defend the Imperial presence heading to and mustering within Togoria's capital city from the cannibalistic threat which had been rather prevalent as of late.
To this end, the beskar-clad warrior made his way down to the hanger bay of one of the vessels that were apart of the Assault Fleet dispatched to the world. He did not have any subordinates to assist him in this venture, for his rank and time within the Imperial chain of command did not afford him the right to lord over anyone...yet. Ah, sweet ambition...Dar'jetii seated himself in one of the many dropships strewn across the hanger bag and got comfortable before reaching out on his helmet comm to his superiors.
"This is Dar'jetii, heading down to the surface now. Over."

"Let's review, then." TB-18 said, turning away from the tactical display to address an older human male who was acting as the medical supervisor to this mission.
"Right, right." The supervisor replied, flicking through his datapad. "Caross is a big place, so we've got... Twenty? Twenty different shuttles, yeah. We land them around the city, use them as the focal point to distribute aid. It should go rather soundly, all things considered."
TB-18 was not convinced anything could ever go soundly, much less anything involving the Empire not ruthlessly murdering everything. And even then it was rather up in the air. "How do we expect the Togorians in the city will respond?"
The supervisor made a sound that was somewhere between a whistle and a sigh, but probably an indication that the question brought about discomfort and uncertainty. TB-18 suspected as much already. Togorians were a proud sort. Would they really accept such assistance from the Empire after what happened? Then again, they had joined the Mandalorians after those primitive lifeforms had attempted to conquer them. Perhaps now would not be much different.
"Well, I think they'll take it."
"Your inexpert opinion hardly absolves me of my concerns. Your attempt is appreciated. Now leave; go make your preparations. You will be departing soon."
The supervisor slunk away, feeling silly. TB-18 returned to the tactical display, just in time to receive a message from a Dar'jetii. The Mandalorian was heading for the surface, then. If he wanted to scout around the city before the transports landed, then that was his prerogative. "Messaged received, Apprentice. Good luck."

Gregor hummed a traditional Sithmas carol as he strode throughout the many corridors of the mighty warship, on his way to @Saelia Santori to receive his marching orders. Although he was a Sith Knight in his own right and ability now, he could still appreciate the nostalgic appeal of receiving orders from his former Master and tutor in the Sith arts. She was a Sith of extraordinary skill and intellectual capacity.
And @TB-18 was a droid. A smart droid, but still, just a droid.

"I'm going out," Saelia informed her ship's captain. "I'll be on the mobile link and I have the map on my database, but do keep me updated. And get me a direct link to Logistical Command." Sealia touched her ear to make sure her earpiece was synced up. She disembarked Sorel, which had been parked near the edge of a massive forest. At least it had been a massive forest when Saelia had landed. She had been clearing large swaths of the jungle using what limited equipment had been already dropped off.
"Administrator?" Sealia turned to see the foreman of the construction project jogging towards her. "We've used the wood to shore up the defensive positions to the north, northwest, and west, as you instructed. There's still some question as to the strategical and scientific uses of the forest. It may be worth it to preserve some of it for research."
"Agreed," said Saelia. "The thickest parts will have the most use, and besides it will serve as a defensive position on the southwest side." She indicated the map, where the forest served as the southwestern boundary of the massive colony zone. "We'll place turrets in dual rings around the inside and outside of that barrier, as soon as we have that spaceport delivered. If we ever get the spaceport delivered," Saelia added with a dark glance skyward.

The Sith Knight known as Gregor G. Gideon continued his trek across the mighty warship of the Sith Empire. Gregor couldn't necessarily remember the name of the vessel he was currently aboard. They all appeared identical, and occasionally began to blur together.
No matter, however, Gregor thought, between Sithmas carols.

"Miss Santori, would you direct where you wish for the prefab bases to be landed? We have the spaceport setup, as well as a secondary one in the event of technical issues. The system has been setup with redundancies so a technological failure will not cause us any sort of issue."
Posted 30 November 2013 - 03:43 PM
Saelia gritted her teeth. She had never been 'Miss Santori' and she hadn't been 'Miss' or even 'Mrs.' for years. She preferred Administrator, but that was difficult, apparently. "Very good, Logistical Command. Please refer to your map plan for the location of the command center and then we'll need the power generators and food storage units." Saelia lifted a hand and scanned the ridge in the distance. Smoke billowed from the ridge, indicating that the bombers had done their grisly work.
"Do we have an update on when we can expect the residential units? And the residents, for that matter?"

Planet-side, Forest Outskirts
A small fireteam of stormtroopers stood idly in a protective formation around a group of construction workers who were attempting to repair a portion of the defenses. Sitting upon a nearby log, lounging rather regally, was a man in a tan overcoat, with long blond hair and flashing green eyes. He watched the workers with a bored expression and began talking to one of the Stormtroopers.
"As vastly impressive as Imperial-constructed fortifications are, one would think that the Togorians might want food and water first."
The stormtrooper remained awkwardly silent; shifting his weight; unsure if he was supposed to respond to the Sith or not.
"After all, what use are a bunch of log walls and space ports if these little kittens all starve to death?"
The stormtrooper checked his weapon.
Tycho sighed and resumed being eternally bored.

Jonas had completed his meditation routine for the mission coming. The moderately tattooed man rose from the floor and went to the closet. After admiring his athletic form, Jonas put on his armor and proceeded to the bridge of the ship. The corridor was barren and quiet, save for the ship's engine, as the Apprentice made his way to the command bridge. Jonas approached the doors and the slid open upon his approach. The man looked around at the many men and woman on the bridge then locked his eyes on @TB-18 and nodded to him. "Why was I brought along again?"

Gregor found himself on deck sixteen now, closer to his goal of reaching @TB-18, now that he was aware of @Saelia Santori's presence planet-side. Coincidentally, it would have been far less work for the Sith Knight to go down an emergency ladder from the secondary, more ceremonial, bridge-type location he had previously been at, to the bridge @TB-18 inhabited.
But Gregor appreciated the long route, on occasion. But now he was finding himself walking out across a bustling operational bridge room.

@Tae Reek | @Gregor Gideon
"Apprentice Reek, Knight Gideon. Excellent." TB-18 turned away from the tactical display to address the two recent arrivals to his bridge. TB-18 decided to address Reek's rather forward question first before getting into the details. Now that the prefab bases were getting set up, it was almost time for TB-18 to go planetside himself to help coordinate the distribution of supplies. He didn't trust that skeevy looking supervisor.
"Now then. Reek, you will be accompanying me to the surface of Togoria very shortly. I'll be distributing relief supplies, you will make sure none of the Togorians get rowdy. Gideon, as I'm sure you know, there are a number of satellite settlements that we will not be able to reach at this time. Captain @Hawke Katamirth will be dropping supplies and informational leaflets over these settlements from her cruiser. You will be helping coordinate her in that regard."
