Alderaan, Aldera Forest, Alexandra's Temple

Alexandra moved through the halls as she looked over the plans lain out and presented to those who might show to this meeting of the Republic's. She had been asked by the Chancellor to set up this meeting, using the woman to get ahold of the Silver Jedi and Mandalorians in particular though she did not mind. Alexandra was happy to provide herself as a tool to gather people into one place. In addition she was given contacts with other worlds such as Coruscant. Commenor, and Alderaan itself.

This was why Alexandra stood, looking at a list of names that included those like Faith Organa, Lady Kay, Devlyn Kane, Premier William Harris I and so on, leaders of their respective homes and of course the invitation extended to those that those invited wished to bring with them. The whole situation meant that protection for such people was a must and that was why Alexandra hoped and relied on those like Noah Corek to provide such protection. The man was a Republic General, one who was with special forces and would understand wanting to protect such people in a situation like this.

But such dangers were not in her frame of thought, knowing that between the Republic and the undoubtedly nearby Mandalorian and Silver Jedi forces would ensure nothing happens, given that Yasha Cadera and @Joshua Dragonsflame, given that they had been invited to this little summit as well given their distance from the Republic being no more than any of the worlds of other governments invited like that of the Fel Empire.

Of course, the invitation had been rather open, that was the point given that Alexandra's home was as usual a neutral place for anyone to come to. They would simply not have a place reserved so to speak like those that had been physically invited. This was meant as a summit of governments and leaders, meant to clear up the Republic's place in this galaxy and its stance on things. Which, thanks to a few bills in particular, was made pretty clear by this point but Alexandra knew that the intent for this meeting was to put a face to the Republic, not just some inhuman organism.

In her home were a few places of note, the most constant of these being the garden that she currently paced in, relying on it for relaxation given that her tree remained there as usual. In addition to this, the Temple's main hall had been made ready, with tables assembled, drink and food made ready. The forest's paths were clearly marked too, leading to the nearby waterfall and pool but also from where a landing zone had been cleared out, allowing for people to quickly arrive rather than take a shuttle like her last attempt. Though this was a temporary place for landings, meaning the shuttles or ships bringing people had to leave after unloading.

Alexandra sighed and leaned back against the tree, her tan trousers and tanktop the normal wear she had on and looking far more like some padawan or soldier without their uniform top, her hair tied up, though red strands fell down and into her face here and there. This was so much and she honestly wondered if accepting the job as a host was worth it, unsure how many of those invited would actually show up.

Or if this would even achieve anything in the end as she looked down at the datapad.

After all, the Chancellor wouldn't be here to greet people, it would be those like herself, or the senators who would show and entertain the guests, or officers like Noah Corek if he decided to show up himself. She closed her eyes at the thought and leaned her head back, leaning against the tree for now and letting people start to arrive.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: This is meant as a thread for governments and planetary leaders within diplomatic range of the Republic are invited, and I do ask that you please avoid joining if you are not such. For those part of factions invited, such as the Fel Empire, Silver Jedi, Dark Hand, Mandalorians, or Commenor, please do join and enjoy yourselves. Meet some people, make some connections, and see that the Republic is something trying to bring cohesion and peace to the Core, the Colonies, and any other worlds that join it.

And for governments within range, such as say the First Order, you are more than welcome to join, just know that your chicken dinner is not paid for and reserved, only cool kids get reserved dinners.

Noah sighed as he looked at the guest list and rechecked the list of Commandos he'd have running security. He didn't like putting his men in situations like this, on a battlefield you could somewhat determine who the enemy was, usually the person holding a weapon and shooting at you. But at security details like this? Someone could poison the food or the drinks, the could smuggle a weapon in and kill someone or a bomb and kill everyone for that matter. So that put undue pressure on his men to not overlook a single detail and Noah found that often in situations like this when you scrutinized every little things you almost always missed something.

Noah ran through the guard layout. Four guards at the main entrance, two at every other side entrance, ten covering the main meeting hall, two at the entrance to every major room and finally another ten in reserve. Armored and armed they were some of the best troops the Republic could field, which I why Noah hated wasting them on the function but Alex had requested the best and that's what she'd get. Alex. Noah's thoughts nowadays often drifted towards her, well whatever thoughts weren't focused on running SOCOM. Usually Noah's thoughts about women were only carnal in nature but with Alex he could see him actually settling down, well as much as one could in his profession.

With these thoughts swirling in his head Noah walked into the garden and chuckled as he saw the objects of aforementioned thoughts pacing. Leaning against the doorframe Noah watched her for a few seconds before she stopped. "Cred chit for your thoughts?" Noah asked as he smoothed out his fatigues in a digitized grey and black camo pattern. One sidearm was strapped under his shoulder and the other on his thigh.

A soft hum drummed in the background on the offshoot of a bridge that overlooked the stars. Comets blurred by the canopy of the observational deck, obscured only by the light which radiated off Alderaan's perfect surface. A world of significant, importance and wealth both historically and in the current. Strange then that this would be the first time that Ella Nova stepped foot upon a world that she regarded as spectacular in it's achievements, significance and failure. A world that had been destroyed once rebuilt by the technologies of the Yuuzhan Vong some say. Returned to it's former glory with it's decadent houses, monarchs and politicians who lacked the guile to seize complete power. A world that espoused the teachings and methods of the light side.

No wonder the Grandmaster had made this her venue for such a summit.

As Ella regard the space before her, eyes lowered in ill contempt of the world which spun beneath her feet, she found herself thinking of a Mandalorian she had once known. They were not close, not friends, comrades or even colleagues, yet Ella pondered on the man known as Draco Vereen. He was a Mandalorian, a warlord of superior skill and matched only by a few in the arts of warfare. Tales that were made sometimes in fact and other times in opinion but with a degree of truth to them that Ella had never stepped foot on the world.

Until now.

It wasn't fear that had kept her away from Alderaan. A true Sith Lord did not feel fear. They acknowledged it, allowed it do it's work and then used it to fuel their passion. But it was not fear that had stopped her from acting or reaching out with her hand to influence the politics of the world. Rather it was a choice based in the realm of cunning and intelligence. Vereen, with all his influence and military junctures, would not have allowed others to influence this place during his time here. He had staked a claim. To start a conflict over something that hadn't held mutual interest at the time was a path towards ruin. Better to let the simpleton rule his roost until the opportune moment came to her. Patience had been key.

Turning away from the transparisteel wide screen to make her way from the bridge of the Ayrix Ella headed straight to the hangar bay where a transport had been prepared. As the transport took off she closed her eyes and concentrated on that place where her powers would become hidden. Today was a day to play politician and it would not be good if she were to be discovered here of all places.

Location: The Mountain Palace

Destination : The Forest

"I could go for you. You don't have to do this right now." He knew his mother well enough to know she wasn't feeling well, and that the visit from the Duke of House Tiberus did not bring good news.

Laira Darkholdand his father Draco Vereen were doing their thing today, while he was doing his with Faith. The mountain palace was actually where he and Laira had done much of their growing up.They loved the lake and quiet of the mountains it was calming for them all to be here and together.

"It's a summit right?"He knew she was listening even if she didn't answer. "I know it's Alderaan what could go wrong." What indeed if anyone knew their history it was already know what could go wrong.

He sat down with a rather large thud a demonstration of his frustration.

Waiting.

Another one of those things he hated.

Halrey once against readjusted his tie while walking down the long hallways of the palace in which Alex had decided to run this summit. It was often funny how she was doing more in the diplomatic department then the acutely government put in place to deal with such issues, more so since the women was classed as a civilian. Not that the Echani minded, he had voted to have the Jedi be somewhat in the senate and have a voice but the decision was never fully carried through and so far unless they joined some origination being a Jedi was no different to being apart of come religions. Even if said order was were they got their force users and main military leaders from.

Regardless a diplomatic summit on a Republic planet denoted some senate presence, Harley being more then willing to participate and welcome the guest that wanted to arrive at the complex high in the mountains. Walking into the main garden the area still largely empty aside from Alexandra Feanor herself and the security commander for the event Noah Corek. He gave the pair a small wave while approaching letting the two deal with their current conversion before speaking up. "I hope everything is prepared, looking to make a goo impression today, any bets on who may be coming"?

 A message

"Attention, Republic Flight Control. This is the Coruscant Defense Fleet Flagship "Progress"; With me is a small diplomatic envoy & accompanying Security Personnel, led by Mayor Devlyn Kane. Mr. Kane would like to thank you for the invitation. We are prepared to join Grandmaster Alexandra Feanor planetside, for a vacation to lovely Alderaan. Standing by for confirmation."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Devlyn allowed himself a smile, seated in the bridge of the powerful CR90 Corvette. Beyond the crystal viewport, the planet Alderaan had grown in size until it nearly engulfed the screen. Dark space separated the ship from the gorgeous world, but "Progress" was sure to drive ever-onward.

The Politician, upon receiving the Republic's invitation to the Congress of Governments, had been thrilled at the opportunity. It meant that the Galaxy was coming together... and, just as he'd campaigned that a community was stronger unified than separated, so-to was the Galaxy working toward an understanding. Perhaps, he hoped, they might avert the next great war...

One could only hope.

Rolling his wrist, the handsome older gentleman adjusted his wrist-chron then swiveled in his seat. "I'm heading to the Docking Bay. Everyone is there?" He asked one of his officers. The younger man nodded, "Yes, sir. The shuttle is ready. Awaiting your orders."

Devlyn nodded, taking to his feet & exiting the bridge, lost in his own thoughts. He'd only been in office a short while, but it seemed his timing had been most convenient...

While he were unable to feel the Force himself, inwardly, he believed.

The brief trip in the Turbolift was over quickly, and the well-dressed politician joined a small group of individuals in the docking bay. By the time they received clearance to enter Alderaanian Airspace, each member of the small Diplomatic Team were giddy with excitement. For many of them, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. For Devlyn, in particular, it was a moment he'd been waiting for.

Kay was a bit uncomfortable as she arrived for this meeting. Alderaan was a place that got her anxiety going, yet she wasn't sure why. Perhaps it had to do with memories lost when she was held in captivity and tortured so long ago. But she couldn't be certain. Her attire was slacks and a button up blazer, cream in colour. She wasn't going to overdo it. This wasn't a ball, afterall.

Yet what made her stand out and perhaps cause some concern for Noah Corek and the other security personnel, was that wrapped around her right arm and shoulder was her newly hatched Ouroboros Krayt Dragon Viribus. His pale purple colour matched her outfit in a light contrast that made them both stand out. However Viribus didn't look cute and cuddly. Even being newly hatched, he looked fierce with his sharp spikes and talons. Still, Kay was smart enough to have fed him a large meal beforehand, so that the people and food here wouldn't entice him so.

Her reasons for bringing him were two-fold. One was to see how well he travelled to other planets. And two was to get him used to being around others without attacking them right off the bat. There was a short list of people that he was comfortable with. Kay was there when he hatched, so she was his Mistress. The others were the Head of the House; Olivia, and of course Veiere. Her own children haven't met Viribus yet, but all in good time. They were off in different corners of the Galaxy building their own lives while Kay worked on rebuilding hers.

As for who else was attending this meeting, she wasn't certain. Vice-Chancellor Tobias Dracks was the only one that she knew in this new government. Whether or not he'd be attending, she wasn't sure. But if she was lucky, then he would be.

Kay stepped inside the Temple with a confident stride, scritching Viribus under his chin as his distraction pushed away her anxieties. Hopefully this wouldn't turn out as badly as all of the other summits and meetings between various governments had gone. But that was what she had Viribus with her for.

The last time he had been on Alderaan, it had been at the vanguard of a Galactic Alliance liberation fleet. They had been welcomed as heroes.

How quickly fortunes could change. How fleeting, peace.

They had landed the night before, smuggled planetside under the cover of darkness. Jaius Sovv could no longer afford the luxury of traveling openly anymore. Chief of State to a fallen government, actively hunted by both Supreme Leader Sieger Ren and the tyrant Zambrano, he had fled Coruscant during the Fall and seemingly vanished without a trace. Rumors of his sighting across the Outer Rim were never confirmed, and after a time many had begun to wonder if he had truly even survived at all. After today, all that would change. After today, the forces of darkness would no doubt redouble their efforts to plot his capture.

The elder Sullustan was not here representing the Alliance, an institution that for all intents and purposes had ceased to exist, but rather a coalition of unaligned worlds across the Core and Mid Rim. Systems like Duro, Vandelhelm, Hosnian Prime, and Thyferra. Together, they had established a Cooperative Council and appointed Sovv as their delegate. Gone were his handwoven robes of office, instead he wore a simple rustic tunic and trousers. Leaning heavily on his hovercane for support as he ascended the temple steps, he felt the weight of such a coalition's trust now more than ever on his shoulders.

His doctors had told him it would not be long before he was confined to a chair, but while he had a year or so of mobility left to him he was determined to make the most of it.

Some of the faces in attendance he recognized. Lady Kay he had met in an official capacity some time ago, the two had enjoyed a pleasant stroll of the royal Commenori palace grounds before the dark days, before the empires. The Systems Alliance had not always been his ally, but he respected the Queen's leadership and admired her resiliency for enduring such a time of troubles for the Core. Faith Organa he also knew, well enough now that he believed he recognized at least one other of her bloodline in Theo Vereen. Others he only knew by reputation, a handful of Republic Senators and the newly elected mayor of Coruscant.

Voph hated gatherings like this. He had always been a warrior at heart. Action spoke louder than words. And he was a man of action. But, actions could only get you so far. Particularly against the oppression of the Empire. And one could never have too many friends when facing such an enormous foe. Voph had never been fond of the Republic, partially because of their involvement with the Jedi, but he was more than willing to put aside that difference. As he stepped into the hall, the carved bone crest that marked his eyes turned to survey the gathered beings, and he spotted someone he recognized. Not hard to do, particularly when he was looking for her. He strode over, quietly, moving swiftly and silently through the crowd. His dreamsilk cape hung from his shoulder, his red leather tunic shone underneath, and his black armorweave boots gleamed after the polish they'd been given. All this accented by the silver rod hanging from Voph's waist. He never went anywhere without his Lightsaber. And a gathering of politicians was no exception.

As he walked up behind his target, he grinned preemptively. "Your Highness. A pleasure to see you as always." He offered Lady Kay a simple bow, his attention drawn to the Krayt Dragon pet she carried with her. He'd not been aware she had such a creature, but he let it pass without comment for the time being. "Welcome to Alderaan. Finest planet in all the core." He glanced around at the gathered crowd, and as he turned Kay might notice that his dark hair was long enough that it was tied back in a ponytail. "Republic calls a summit of galactic leaders, Not a bad place to promote our joint venture, I think..."

Vulpesen's fingers crawled up the edge of his coat as he adjusted it, his back straightening and his shoulders giving a smal shake to give minute adjustments to the silk trappings. Time with the Vitae's more delicate missions had kept him away from political bussiness, something that while enjoyable did get a bit exhausting. Perhaps ome polite discussion and a bottle of fine wine would do him well.

The hiss of a deployying ramp caused his ears to flick slightly as the Vixen opened up to reveal the forested lands of beautiful Alderaan and more immediately, Alexandra's temple, a place the zorren was quite familiar with. His boots clicked softly against the durasteel ramp as he headed towards the temple, a slight wieght appearing on his shoulder as Ace hopped onto one of his favorite perching places. Today was supposed to be a good day. An easy day, and one he coudl relax on. Sure discussions might turn to the very fate of his people within the Republic's borders, but that was an if. Besides, in addition to his best friend on his shoulder, there were two others nearby that would ensure that jaded warrior king would crack a smile.

It wasn't often that Vulpesen brought his kids along on bussiness, what with their studies and the dangers of his life, but they were the heirs to his throne. Moreover, they had to earn that throne. Blood status was only a bonus. What better time to start teaching the younglings the basics of politics than to do so when both their mother and father sat at the table? "Stay close, kids. And keep your ears open, theres a lot to learn from places like this, even if it gets boring some times."

Jaius Sovv . Now that was a man that she hadn't seen in some time. Nor had she seen him so casually dressed. He appeared almost frail somehow. But his eyes told another story.

Her attention was soon taken away by the sudden appearance of Voph . Well that was unexpected. She bowed her head to him, being mindful to keep scritching Viribus in his favourite spot under his chin to keep him calm. "Lovely to see you.
I have been to many planets in the Core. Each has their own beauty. And their own Darkness. I can't say what makes me uncomfortable here..."
The memories were gone and she had yet to find them again. All that she had were holo records that were little more than reports and news articles. "...Perhaps due to past experiences with these types of meetings. Or perhaps it is due to having Viri with me for his first outing. It's hard to know how he'd react."

The last thing that she needed was for blood to spill because of him. And yet he had to learn and be able to adapt. It would do no good to have him sheltered.

Viribus kept his eyes on Voph, and although his body seemed relaxed, his eyes surely weren't. They were untrusting. For the moment, at least.

"How are things progressing with the Covenant?"

Well wasn't this just the most merry of gatherings? What an exquisite idea? What could possibly go wrong? Gathering the leaders and/or delegates from any number of governments spread across the galaxy never lead to trouble, did it? If there was any merit in delving into the past then it truly was going to be a momentous occasion for these never ended in a civil manner, even when all intentions moved a collective in that very direction. But more than anything what was odd to Svenn was that he'd been asked to come here in place of Thorne to represent the Chiss Ascendancy, but hadn't been given any particular notion as to why so many had been invited here through an extended hand by this Republic. What was the actual motivation behind this? What did the Republic hope to achieve and what were they wanting from those in his corner of the galaxy? A region gripped in war now that he hoped to return to as far too many of those whom he represented today lost their lives to the avail of two Empires that had nothing to do with the region. But alas, that was a matter to be pondered further at a later hour. For now, it was time to present himself for these dull affairs immediately ahead.

He padded down the soft fabric of his garb, a rather formal black and grey arrangement of pants, gloves, boots and long-sleeved jacket. He ran a hand swiftly through his well kept, black hair and let loose a faint sigh as he pressed toward the entrance to the political arena in which he would convene with the representatives of various other governments. Flanking him to either side was a pair of Chiss dressed in a simple manner with a single sidearm holstered along their right hip. They were simply a security escort for him as he, himself, was unarmed for the occasion. However, as their approach met the security detail established through the efforts of his host, he turned to the two Chiss and whispered a simple command. The broke away from him and allowed him to enter the palace alone. He had a discomfort about being here among the representatives of so many different governments know the history of such gatherings, but he wouldn't fail those he represented here.

Pressing forward he came to the guards stationed at the main entrance and halted. He raised his arms out to allow for the men to search him how they'd likely been instructed to do before he would proceed further. Once inside he would follow the guided walk until it opened up into where he assumed the gathering was to take place. One thing about this place was that it was covered in an undeniable beauty. It was something he could appreciate and that actually managed to bring a small grin to his face, before it quickly returned to its previous stark expression.

He circled around and leaned casually against a wall to the rear of the area, taking in everything he saw and taking note of his surroundings and those gathered here just as he'd done since his entrance into this place. He didn't do anything to bring any particular attention to himself, but instead just studied the area around him and those within it.

Familiar faces were few and far between now as a senator in the New Republic. She hadn't spent more than a few weeks on her home world since they'd joined the coalition of planets. And so when she spotted Lady Kay she felt her heart flutter a bit. Lizsa was dressed in blacks and whites, the large circular Quarth family crest on her left breast displayed proudly in similar colors. Translators were adorned on both of her ears slits so that if someone spoke in one of the millions of potential languages in the New Republic she could understand them.

"Lady Kay," she called over the crowd, though she doubted she could hear from so far away. She moved closer now to where if she wanted she could reach out and grab the woman's arm. "Lady Kay its so lovely to see you!" She had came within earshot just as Kay and the man standing next to her started talking and had caught the conversation. She didn't recognize the name or what she could only assume was the name of his planet...or cult. Also in view now was Jaius Sovv, a face she hadn't seen in some time, not since immediately after the Galactic Alliance fell. He looked so small now. She'd heard through the intergalactic grapevine that he was working with unaligned worlds in the Core. She wished all the best for the old man, though it didn't look like he had much zest in him any longer.

Procedures. Protocols. Dock checks. Safety checks and double checks. Scans.

It wasn’t often that a member of the First Order subjected themselves to weapon checks provided by the New Republic, but sometimes the galaxy presented itself with strange circumstances, and the woman willingly complying with such circumstances would do so at an easy, nigh carefree pace. Technically, there would be enemies galore, or former ones at the very least. No matter: the galaxy was kind of a small place despite its vastness; it was only a matter of time until you broke bread with someone who stabbed at you previously.

And regardless, it’s not like lines and ideologies concerned her all so terribly.

Thus, the Major: leader of the First Order Security Bureau, strolled into the main hall of the temple and further in to where the summit would mostly be taking place. It didn’t look terribly packed but she supposed that was a result of her arriving somewhat early, and at least this way she could possibly take note of who did and didn’t show up to this event. Guards were stationed liberally and with a couple of quick, discreet glances she could eye their loadouts: more out of instinct and the nature of her own work than any actual concern for their positioning or any threat to her safety.

As far as her garb was concerned the tall, auburn topped woman went with her usual Sunday Coat, which was quite the posh piece that offered stabled defenses, and further provided a testament on the merits of moving about a luxurious, ludicrous amount of credits, resources, and lives. A blue rose was delicately woven upon her heartbound lapel. The only thing that challenged the midnight blues, silken subdued whites, chrome embossed accents, and leather single shoulder cape was the pink , lace frilled parasol which remained resting by means of curved handle wrapped about a glove shoden wrist. Silver framed round glasses churned this way and that as soft irises of azure gently coaxed information from the summit's presentation and growing pool of dignitaries, con-men, and the occasional loafer who clung to the coattails of relevancy.

A happy scene awaited, indeed!

Why, the very nature of the trees and botanical beauty of the temple invigorated the Major with that sweet, life affirming swell of oxygen that one is apt to enjoy when so inspired, so transposed, so effortlessly one with the enticing textures of life and its comforting sinews. What a happy peace one had the privilege of enjoying in such a fine day. She could not contain the warm smile spreading across her cheeks - although under the sharp shadow of her Almanian tricorn hat the darkness gave the woman’s cheery countenance a sinister, selfish, and wolfish gleam. Choosing to walk from the docks to the temple alone had proven most beneficial, such as any other agents could find their leader waiting happily within the confines of the area.

Her reverie was interrupted by the gleeful, spiteful realization of a self made bet. The Major wore no markers that identified her as an agent of the First Order, but she suspected someone here would know that to be fact. Lady Shephard’s identity was already relatively anonymous within her very own government, but she had no doubt these noble practitioners of the art of diplomacy might intuit her designs. And once they knew who she was, how would they react to her presence? It wasn't as though she was here to be hidden or incognito, but she would enjoy allowing others to puzzle that out for themselves. Her mind boggled with curiosity and anticipation. So many possibilities were apt to present forthwith, and should sunlight shine too brightly or a rainstorm suddenly commence too fiercely then she was of course quipped with her rather multifunctional parasol.

Who to harass first? Or perhaps some beverage would aid in washing away the pollen and dust from the back of her throat? The Director of the Security Bureau espied this way, then that: measuring her options in mirth to the airy tune of Clair de Lune.

Alexandra breathed in and stopped in her place as someone appeared at the door, her face softening and a smile touching her lips as she reached up and pushed a strand of hair that had fallen into her line of sight. Her eyes looked over to two folded up garments and without talking right now she reached over, grabbing one of the two, that being a white colored shirt, pressed and ready, although holding a few lines from the neat folding she had done. She wasn't used to this formal nature of things so she had neglected on hanging the shirt up like she should have. Either way the button up was pulled on, buttoned and tucked into the trousers she wore, a belt coming on after and finally a vest being pulled onto her as well, the brown dark blue color standing out a bit from the tan trousers and the white buttonup.

"Honestly, a bit uneasy General Corek." She grinned as she said his name, already feeling another's presence approaching in the form of one Harley Fenstermacher. Last she needed to do was provide too much of a tone for familiarity during a meeting like this. "I don't know why I am the one hosting this and the talks, but with all the changes going on in recent times I am almost welcoming this. Especially with something ive been considering..."

Alex wondered if she should bring up the question on her mind, having talked it through with the very man that had placed her incharge of this meeting. It was clear why he had done this because of the meeting with the Jenari and how she had held herself during that event. If she could not tackle these things with a level head, then she would be rather unfit for what she had planned.

Her eyes turned on Harley now, entertaining the man's inquiry with just a smile at first as she reached up and began to tie her hair back so that she would not have it obstructing her view. Once she was happy with it and ready to leave the garden, she spoke to the Echani senator that she had had the pleasure of meeting several times in the past.

"I expect Aldearaan, Coruscant and Commenor's planetary governments, as they showed positive reactions to the idea of a summit hosted by the Republic in order to address the issue of the Colonies and the Core... Aside from that, invitations were extended to the Republic's neighbors who exist on the interplanetary scale or those who are seeking greatness nearby, so I would not be surprised if the Silvers showed up, or the Mandalorians..." She paused, thinking about Yasha for a second and smiling as she would have even more reason to do a good job today if that happened.

There was then the issue of another group who she and Noah Corek both knew would be here as the Security arrangements weren't exactly hidden and she sighed. The First Order had expressed wishes to partake and Alexandra had in the end allowed it as part of showing that talks could be held with even the government that had reduced the GA to ash. Was she happy or excited to see them at the table, no, but the Republic was a government protecting billions and not a order of Jedi.

"Aside from those who are external actors, we should also see more of your colleagues Harley. I would expect perhaps the Corellian and Rendili Senators, who would have a vested interest in such a meeting between worlds. Beyond that, there will be numerous others with private interests coming to spread their name and get it out there for business or political rea-" She stopped mid sentence, blinking and smiling widely as light touched her face. And, without so much as a turn of her head she started walking a bit faster, speaking one last sentence to the two individuals before folding the space infront of her and vanishing.

"Try not to shoot anyone you two, ill be back in thirty to start the summit." And Alexandra was gone, atleast gone from the place she had been a moment ago.

And just as quickly as she had disappeared, there she was infront of Vulpesen, a wide smile on her face and several strands of silver hair appearing in her hair, part of an illusion she put up to help her kids adjust to the new body she was in.

"It can't be nearly as boring as their instructors fox brain... why didn't you call ahead and tell me you were coming with them... Hello Daella, Vallen, hug for mommy?" She knelt down and spread her arms out, happily smiling and looking at the two with far too many emotions in her face to pin down as any specific one.

Dominic's eyes darted to the periphery of the temples entrance as both he and Director Shepard pressed forward. He received a curt nod, from the two burly Bureau Men, who would sit there on immediate perimeter. But for he and 'The Major', it was into the lions den. Special Agent took a drag from his Calrissian brand cigar, as he entered, a waft of smoke trailing behind him, as he in turn closely followed behind his superior. Craig's eyes turned to the temples interior where this meeting was being held. Particularly to the trees. In his experiences in the field, it was the goddamned trees the enemy often tried to hide in. The First Order officer quivered, a brief reflex from his time on Dagobah.

Special Agent Craig was sceptical about the mission, and the Major's apparent want of being here. This was nothing more than a hive of scum and villainy. Invites had been given to the upstarts of the Galaxy, who now paraded in and around the festering corpse of the Galactic Alliance. Already, he could make out some of the figures standing around. Lady Kay, Commoner's own Queen and rebel leader, who had defied the mandate of Sith Empire. And was that... Jaius Sovv? A third of the former Galactic Alliance's triumvirate. Intriguing. But it nonetheless displayed, and proved in Craig's mind, the futility of being here. None would listen to the Major's words, or heed Sieger's wrath. Perhaps in time they would feel it, but now? Now was not that moment.

Attired in a sharp overcoat, black, and civilian make, Craig halted when the Major did, and quietly adjusted his crimson tie, tightening the grip it had around his neck. Perhaps, in a sick metaphor, preparing the noose. Instinctively, his hand reaching to his naval issue OSM-10, ensuring it was still there. Well, of course it was. But a man of Craig's experience and temprement did not stop checking ones articles of violence. Satisfied, the special agent straightened his posture, and moved just behind the Major's right shoulder, flanking her before he took another drag. A cloud of smoke escaped his lips, and shrouded the man's face, obscuring him.

Harley gave a small nod towards the grand master as she hypothesized those that would be attending. "I would assume so, Kay has certainly been making good headway in diplomatic talks and getting commoner back to it's feat, come to think of it that looks like her now". As he looked over towards the entrance the women herself made an appearance walking with confidence and accompanied by a strange armored man of unknown description. Weather they were some sort of guard or a fellow official was unknown for Harley but he could sense a definite force presence from him, quite a strong one at that.

Interesting but over all not to much of a big deal, himself returning to the conversation with Alex for the time being. "You know I find it quite odd, the Silver Jedi border our own and in sense would make the best ally". "Though there has yet to be any major talking between us, seems kind of strange though I guess the order has had a few problems as of late". That and the apparent hostilities still shared between the Silvers and Manda Empire would make things a little awkward. "Well either way it seems we have quite the crowd already, I bid you my leave, to mingle with our guest, I hope you both have a good day".

With a small bow the Echani senator left Alex and Noah to their own task, himself walking around the already gathered individuals from other nations and powers. He assumed Lady Kay would instantly go for the grand master to talk the talk and as such Harley looked around for some other people to talk with. Jaius Sovv seemed like a person with similar interests but from what Harley knew the man didn't really represent anything anymore, but the two newest arrivals certainly caught his attention. One a women wearing glasses and auburn hair, their partner a man smoking a cigar with short blonde like hair, both of unknown origins though Harley had some idea about who they were.

Approaching the two the Ehani gave a small welcoming bow, giving a smile to the two as they entered into the garden area. "Welcome to Alderan I trust that you both have had a nice trip". "I am Harley Fenstermacher, Senator of Balmorra and COE of HCLI, may I have the pleasure of knowing who you both are". (Dominic Craig The Major)

Alexandra Feanor | Lady Kay | Vulpesen | Voph | Jaius Sovv | Devlyn Kane | Harley Fenstermacher | Lisza Starseeker | The Major | Noah Corek | Svenn |

The cockpit of the Initium was dark and eerie. A faint red light cast itself across it's canopy. Sat at the controls Ella activated the self pilot and reclined in her seat to read. Entering her password into a datapad Ella held it aloft in one hand whilst the other leaned backwards into the arm rest, so that she could lean the side of her face into the palm as she read the list of invited guests. She recognised most of the names on the list. There was of course Alexandra Feanor, a self-proclaimed sycophant narcissist Jedi Grandmaster and old friend to Humbarine's Senator. In her early days before becoming Sochi Ru's Padawan Ella had studied the Balance in one of Feanor's Praxeums before she decided to follow the ways of the Lightside.

Next on the hypocrite's list was Lady Kay, wife of the ruler of Commenor and someone Ella had been monitoring for awhile. They had once watched a game of swoop bikes together during a formative life and that was the extent of contact that Ella had allowed. For years Kay had been the bane of slavers and Crime Lords alike with her Humanitarian efforts all in the name of the weak and needy. It seemed that for all the bounties that had been put on her head no-one had been able to put her down yet. For that Ella gave a nod of approval. She was a fool for what she believed and less of a sycophant than their esteemed host but nonetheless it took strength to avoid the wrath of the galaxies biggest scum and she was passionate in what she believed in.

Ella recognised the name Vulpesen. She didn't know much about him or his abilities other than he was a Force-sensitive that some Sith Lords had some ill intent towards. But nothing of note came to mind so she moved on. Not recognising the other two names that followed Ella's eyes stopped on the name Devlyn Kane just as the ship begun to rattle. Averting her gaze away from the list Ella noticed that the Initium was now entering the atmosphere of Alderaan. The on-board computer had already sent her clearing codes automatically when they had been demanded. Nodding to herself Ella ignored the rattling and thought about Coruscant's Mayor. Memories of a burning temple, screaming children and the breakage of sinew and bone came vividly to mind at the thought of the galactic capital. Coruscant had always held bad memories. She would use them to fuel her desires.

In her duties as Humbarine's representative Ella had thought to reach out to the Mayor to express diplomatic relations between their two worlds. However, her instincts had told her not to do it at the time. Now that Kane was attending this summit on Feanor's invitation she now understood why. She skipped over both of the Republic Senators to the surprised inclusion of the First Order. Memories of walking Avalonia, and meeting with Veles came next. They were good memories. Enjoyable ones. She would use them too.

Having familiarized herself with the guest list Ella deactivated the automatic pilot and took control of her ship. Swerving around and priming the engines Ella navigated her chartered course to the landing zone she had been assigned by Republic forces. When she landed the ship she sent a coded transmission to her flagship and disembarked. A Lightsaber hung beneath the sleeve of the former Jedi Knight as she walked into the Palace. As she did she heard the engines of the Initium reactivate and paused to look over her shoulder to check and see if the ship had engaged it's cloak as she had programmed it to do prior to leaving. Ella was satisfied to see her ship disappear from view just as it took off on a course back to the Ayrix.

Escorted to the Palace gardens by security personnel Ella was pleased to see that she hadn't arrived early. It seemed that she was the last person to arrive.

Voph held out a hand towards the Krayt dragon as Lady Kay scratched it. He said something in a rather lyrical sounding language to the dragon, smiling softly. "Things are well enough. Though I'm not here for the free drinks, let's put it at that." Voph looked up as a rather unusual being approached them. She, or at least Voph guessed it was a she, seemed to know Kay. In all his travels, he'd not met a creature like this before. He smiled at her, and an oddly genuine one at that. He always loved meeting new people and new species. His head cocked to the side slightly as he spoke. "Greetings, my...lady? Forgive me, I've not encountered one of your kind before." Voph offered Lisza Starseeker a bow, and said, "I am Lord Voph, a new associate of Lady Kay's." He smiled at the strange being, his face wrinkling underneath the carved bone plate that rested where his eyes should have been.

He turned his attention back to Kay. "We've signed an informal agreement with another planet, rather primitive by most metrics, but then such would be exactly our purview. However, we're still short the manpower to establish a secondary battlegroup. Hopefully that shortcoming can be resolved before such a time as they officially join the Covenant." Voph paused, having said his piece to answer Kay's question. He now turned his attention to the surrounding crowds, taking stock of who all was there. He had a nagging feeling at the back of his mind, and he was trying to convince himself that it was just his paranoia...

Aldera Forest, Alderaan

First Order Delegation: The Major, Dominic Craig

Blue Suit

Open to Interaction

Page_divider_FOSB_with_grad.png

Luther moved with all the grace given to the injured and lame, which was to say that he was as stately as a boulder hurling down a hill. His pride had called for him to abandon his cane, but that proved to be a foolish decision. He had not completely recovered from his time on Commenor, and he was certain he would collapse before the end of the night. Pride comes before a fall, indeed.

After passing through security, he let the Director and Dominic move on ahead. He didn’t need to stay by their side, in fact it was better he mingled with the others for now. Unlike Craig, and the other toughs, he wasn’t here as protection.

He caught the attention of a passing waiter, leaning against the wall as the man approached. “A glass of wine, Sir?” the man asked politely. “Yes, thank you” Luther replied, picking up the beverage and taking a large sip. The wine was good, most likely an expensive vintage, not that his insensitive palate would be able to tell the difference between it and the swill he normally drank. He mustered up the effort to move from his position, wincing at the protesting muscles in his legs.

He moved in a slow gait, mostly to disguise his limp. It was better not to reveal weakness in front of his targets. He was here to persuade or intimidate several of the guests in attendance. After government introduced certain isolationist policies, he’d been assigned to reclamation and consolidation. He had heard several diplomats from planets in the core were in attendance; planets that were very close to First Order territory. No one of consequence really, a few minor scions of noble houses and wealthy businessmen. That would have to wait for now, however. There was a certain golden hour where the target was tipsy enough to spill the beans, but not yet passed out in the garden.

The area was beautiful, and Luther lamented that he would be confined to talking to boors and fools instead of exploring the temple grounds. He shuffled along, taking note of those in attendance. He heard of many and had researched a few more that he’d suspected would attend. In truth however, he had never met any of the guests in person. Lady Kay was the closest to an exception, he’d glimpsed her before Kaine Australis threw him through a skylight.

He sipped his drink, casually walking through the crowd and mingling with the guests.
