Command Bridge -- Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyer, Spiteful

Deep Space -- Helska System

Gregor Gideon was pleased with this latest assignment. Helska. A mission of expansion, but also of utility. Of infrastructure. Helska was not to be taken to be used as a token of influence by some random Sith upstart, but rather, to establish a sector of space properly cordoned off for use by military training exercises. A kind of military testing paradise.

This particular Sith Knight had arrived just ahead of the rest of the Imperial forces. His task force was to act as the vanguard for the operation, and to root out concentrated pockets of malcontents - predominantly pirate in nature, most likely, and then to act as the command and control for the additional arriving forces, assisting in dispatching them where and when necessary.

"Begin scanning procedures." Gregor issued the command to a nearby bridge officer.

Command Bridge -- Sadow-class Star Destroyer, Intrepid

Pirate Space station -- Helska System

The Intrepid dropped out of hyperspace at a predetermined sector of space known to harbor an increased pirate presence, centered around a refurbished planetary defense space station which no doubt acted as a sort of headquarters for whatever space gang operated here.

Captain Drayson of the Imperial Navy cared little. He was here to exterminate them all with extreme prejudice.

The arrival of Circe and the 69th fleet significantly decreased the amount of time that would be spent dealing with pirates and the like. A pair of Ranators entered the system along with the Gorgon as their fighters launched, preparing for combat against whatever pirate forces were in the area.

"Keep a sharp eye out. We want whatever we can get to be dissected by our boys back home."

Olom wore his best robe. Today, he was not simply battling. No, today he was helping with astrogation and technology. He sat at the console typing away and relaying orders. He smirked as he heard Gideon on the comm-channel. "Hello, everyone," he said on the comm channel with his usual quiet, prepared delivery. "I'm Olom, and I'll be assisting with our spatial construction efforts. Inquisitor Gideon, Lady Pandeima, Captain Drayson, Admiral Bosch, and several others will ensure our secure transport," he said with a calm nod. "Construction teams 7-13 and security team 9, please prepare to make planetfall in the Rylakos Sector of Helska IV, pending a security scan of the planet," he said assuredly. He trusted the various naval forces here to keep them from enemy fire. After all, Gideon and Pandeima were practically armies unto themselves. "For the glory of the Empire!"

He smirked ass he saw a ship enter his field of view. He wondered who this might be....

Command Bridge -- Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyer, Spiteful

Deep Space -- Helska System

It had been weeks since Krag's evolution, which he called it in order to keep himself partly sane, yet it was getting no easier to cope with. The burning smell of embers trailed him like a sick puppy and he constantly reeked of a sulfur smell that could gag a Mustafarian. His darkened, ashy skin trailed streams of black vapor made of smoke and small bits of microscopic cinders that fell from his skin like dust. He had turned into a hideous monstrosity and he knew it, not only did he know it but he despised the fact ever second of every day. He felt like it was a sign of weakness, he had let a dead man curse him with a vile disease that struck him of his 'perfect body'. He had already killed multiple Imperial soldiers for their lingering eyes, he might have had his eyes opened to the true origins of the Graug but he still felt the same pride he did before. Lingering eyes reminded him only of his condition and he had no intention of being reminded more often than he needed too.

It was already bad enough that he could feel his only power and life slowly trickling away. The more powerful he got the more he could feel himself giving way to the ashes that he now embodied. For the time being he was being held together by a dark entity he had no comprehension of, no doubt powerful darkside magic, but as his power grew he could feel the magic weakening. It was just as the dark phantom had said upon his cursing, the loss of his life would be subtle and no matter how hard he tried he could not heal himself through power alone. Sith were to grow stronger with power, but the curse sounded as if it would follow him even past death. Krag was determined to find a way to cure this curse and free himself from its grip and that meant he needed to grow stronger, he needed more power. Once he had more power he could utilize every asset in the galaxy to find a way to cure his aliment and that kind of power only came from the highest seat of Imperial power, the Emperor himself.

For now, though, he would become a loyal servant to the will of Tyrin and fulfill his will as he once fulfilled his mother's. Tyrin was a powerful Sith and through him. Krag may be able to find a cure before taking any steps to establish the Graug Empire. Besides, there was no harm in helping grow the Sith while he plotted the destruction of his mother's kingdom on Gratos.

Stepping onto the bridge of Gregor's ship, Krag stomped over to his fellow knight and filled the room with the overwhelming scents of sulfur and burnt flesh. "The glory of the Empire knows no bounds...it even takes this useless excuse for a planet." Krag boomed in his new understanding of basic, thanks to the phantom who taught him the true ways of the fire and cursed him.

As did the Neo-Teran Fleet. What was it here for? Well, Bosch worked closely with @Gregor Gideon. The man may have stronger ties to the Sith than to the Empire, but Bosch trusted him enough to get the job done. Hence his Tulak Hord and the six Ranators following it were prepared to deal with all the pests involved.

"I despise Pirate scum. They're lowlifes, not even allegience to anyone."

Olom nearly giggles as he typed in more data based on the scan. There were, in his estimate, five beings with the skill to improvise massive civil engineering in the whole of the Empire. Thankfully, he was one them. Today, it wasn't Olom the Sith they needed. Today, it was Olom the genius they wanted. And thankfully, one thing that Olom was great at was on-the-fly engineering. As each planetary scan came in, he added more seismic data, calibrating the base designs proposed in real time, figuring out exactly how many explosives in what positions would be needed to "fix" a proper military outpost on this forsaken glacier of a planet. He grinned as he found something in the scans. Durasteel. Lots of it. What was that unbeatable hand called in Sabacc, an Idiot's Array? He smirked. He had found his way to win the pot this time. "Gideon," the Coumi said calmly, "Initial scans show a durasteel strucutre, large enough to suit as a vehicle hangar, in sector Seven-Five Besh U'tai," he began calmly. "I recommend sending a recon probe planetside to scout the usefulness of the structure. If there's pirates, we show them how a proper army fights. If it's empty, I'll start the construction from there," he said calmly, calculating two separate paths for movement towards the base.

Gregor tossed a quick glance at @Olom Grihk, nodding to the alien creature before turning to face another naval officer.

"Do as the apprentice requests. Appraise me of his progress." The Sith Knight turned his attention back to Olom before continuing, "Take whatever steps necessary to insure success."

Captain Drayson of the Imperial cruiser Intrepid ordered the ship to red alert immediately upon dropping out of hyperspace. The order would be done in every ship of his task force, likewise, as everyone followed proper strict naval operating procedures and doctrines.

"Commander, launch fighters." he spoke to the man at his right, the Wing Commander of the ships' starfighter compliment. Turning his head to the left, the Captain spoke again.

"Inform gunnery control they can commence with maximum firepower." This time he spoke to his executive officer, who carried out his command dutifully. Maximum firepower was standard procedure for Bren Drayson. Better safe than sorry, even against antiquated pirate-tech star ships.

Gregor could only do so much to suppress a smile at the words the massive Graug Sith spoke after lumbering through the bridge to meet him.

"The Empire finds use in all things. Nothing is without some merit, if one is thoughtful enough to seek it." He responded to @Krag, before receiving a communique report from a forward naval force which had initiated contact with the enemy - pirates, in this instance.

Olom nodded and deploy probe droids onto the surface of the planet, grinning. Inhabited, based on thermal scans. Didn't look like there was much weaponry. Two ships, both outdated, modified TIE's, from the look of it. Hmm....Olom couldn't help but smile as he looked at this situation. "Inhabited by about ten people, sir. If the probes are reading right, they're are two Air supremacy-model TIE fighters. Lord knows what modifications they're packing though. They're boxed in well, but..." He nodded. "Their data security is worthless. We should be able to sabotage their atmosphere maintainance, asphyxiating them," he said coldly. "Of course, if you'd rather give them a chance to run first, it's your call. Still, I'm recommending lethal intervention. No sense playing nice with the pirates, after all," he said, writing up a quick code to overload the atmospheric recyclers. They'd be breathing exhaust in a matter of minutes--provided nobody wanted to play honorable. He always hated the notion that Sith were bound to face their opponents on level ground. After all, if knowledge was but another form of power, why should it not be used as mercilessly as the other forms?

Krag grinned at the words of his fellow knight. There was truth in the humans words, truth that he would neglect to acknowledge in his healthy condition. " Indeed, perhaps it may have its uses. Graug are quick to dismiss such things...I will take this idea back to them." the Graug said as he listened to the apprentice speak. The creature was tiny and blue, most peculiar in almost every aspect, " your plan is useful, they will feel their death embracing them" [\Color]

Turning back to the planet, Krag snarled "[color=dark green] soon they will all know the same feeling."
his words were bitter, full of the hate he felt with every passing day. He wanted his enemies to know how it felt to feel their life draining away, as he did now.

Olom nodded wickedly. Finally a chance to do something entertaining. He flipped a few switches on the console, his voice level and calm on the transmitter. "Patching in. Air pumps should start fumigating he place in two minutes. Given the base's volume, it'll take five minutes to remove the entire atmosphere. To prevent any stragglers form hopping into a environmental suit, we'll deploy probes aura and besh into offensive combat," he said as he typed away on the console. He patched into the security's holo-recording suite, watching as various chambers began to have their artificially maintained atmospheres filled with toxic exhaust. He quickly ordered two of the probes to assault the hangar, distracting everyone from the toxic fumes, he hoped.

He wished he could make some snacks and simply watch the fireworks, but we had another move to make. He'd continued typing and pushing on the console, relaying various individual orders at a speed most people couldn't imagine to the various groups. His advance, alien brain was thrumming with the raw energy of computing hundreds of variable simultaneously. He nodded, watching as multiple ships moved around the planet, positioning themselves to hit the planet and begin turning the hangar into a proper military base suiting the empire's needs.

Onboard The Vhailor

Sitting in the Captain's chair was @Kära Vi'dreya, and by her one side stood her personal droid-protector Skydd, clad in black robes to hide his metal skin, and by her other side stood the Ashborn, her loyal apprentice and bodyguard. Armoured up in his special containment suit, the eyes of his headpiece gleamed like a pair of stars. Receiving the comm-chatter from those already gathered, his master gestured to the controls and the Ashborn answered the hails. "THIS IS THE ASHBORN ONBOARD 'THE VHAILOR', PERSONAL SHUTTLE OF MASTER VI'DREYA. MY MASTER AND I STAND READY TO SERVE THE EMPIRE." The booming voice of the Ashborn echoed through the ship, with a hint of excitement hidden in the otherwise collected tone, a sign that he was ready to unleash the beast within upon those standing in his way. Looking to his master, he resumed his position by her side, always keen on keeping a close eye on his Queen.

When the response was relayed through for them to deal with the pirates in orbit around the planet a tiny grin appeared upon the young Umbaran's lips. "Consider it dealt with" she said this time, allowing those on the other end to acknowledge that she was genuinely there; after all she was not one to hide from a little hard work. Guiding her ship through to the orbital plane of the planet she spotted the ships in question, and turned ever so slightly in her seat to stare at her sentient-companion. "Those who do not fall under subjugation and turn to our side you have free reign over deciding their deaths. Make them brutal, Ashborn, I cannot stand weakness. Those who will not join the Empire are craven, remember that." And with that she sidelined her route towards one of the ships. "We will take the ships, also; so do not make too much damage to the interface or structure of them. They will be useful when we have their crew under wraps. Do you understand the assignment, my Apprentice?"

Looking down to his side at his master sitting at the helm, the Ashborn bowed his head and placed a clenched fist above his heart. "I DO, MASTER. I SHALL NOT DISAPPOINT, I SWEAR IT." Leaving the bridge to inspect his armour and weaponry one last time, he made sure nothing would somehow impede him once the fighting started. This was the first time he'd face a major battle, and he would be ready for it. He could not - he *would* not fail his Queen. Her wish was his command. Turning to face the massive droid Skydd, he said: "KEEP THE MASTER SAFE, SKYDD. I KNOW YOU WILL NOT FAIL YOUR DUTY." With that said he placed a hand on the towering droid's shoulder and gestured to @Kära Vi'dreya he was ready.

Gregor Gideon agreed with everything the diminutive Sith apprentice said. The Sith Knight had no reservations or compunctions against an unfair fight in this matter, as well.Underneath his polite exterior, Gregor was every bit as ruthless and potentially merciless as any other prominent member of the Sith Order.

"Pirates need not be treated with any inherent respect or dignity. They deserve not our respect, nor our direct combat. Vermin is what they are, and they will be afforded the same policy towards extermination. You are to be commended for your ingenuity in this matter, apprentice." He spoke to @Olom Grihk, before turning his attention back to the Graug warrior, @Krag.

"Your people are lucky to have such a forward thinking member such as you, my friend. They will be wise to heed your word, and use what can be taught."

Captain Drayson watched as two Imperial gunships, corvette-sized warships of the Deimos-class, streaked forward on opposite sides of his bridges' viewport. The two vessels sped forward to provide an anti-starfighter picket screen while the newly assigned TIE Rapier squadron 'Alpha' launched from the hangar bay of the Intrepid. The rapiers were followed by a squadron of Galaxy-class bombers, which would be making attack runs against the space station itself.

"You may fire when we reach maximum effective range. Let them sweat a little." He ordered his gunnery officer via a comlink enabled by the commander's chair.

Truth be told, he knew firing from this distance would be pointless, but he so did enjoy watching the streaks of blue light from turbolaser fire against the backdrop of space. Naval warfare was a kind of beauty all its own.

Olom continued through with his suggestion, watching as most of the life-forms began struggling. Save for one, a being already in a breathing apparatus. Even out here, Methane-breathing spacers were a tactical issue. He focused, over-riding the probe-droids programming to switch to manual control. He'd fight with the masked figure. He type in a five-minute delay to the construction squad's landing. That'd be sufficient time. "It appears one of them is already in an environment suit. I'll have to remove him manually," he said, talking about it out loud as if it were a surgical removal. In a way, he supposed it was. He was just cutting out a festering case of pirates, before it infected the region. Now, let's lance this little problem.

Finally the ship came alongside one of the pirate fleet's larger vessels, allowing the trio to venture out. R1 was left onboard, to hold down the fort so to speak, but she had no doubt in her mind that they could manage this either way. Without a word she ventured forth, Skydd and her Apprentice following close at hand. The moment the blast doors which separated them opened her lightsaber was dropped into her left hand and ignited into a sickly orange beam which arced through the air and straight through the arm of the awaiting personnel who were about to fire. "I don't think so" she murmured, gripping the other man against the wall. Slowly she wove her mind through theirs, bending them to her will. They were the first, they were not expecting such a sudden hostile move, nor to have been disarmed so swiftly, and so they fell beneath her web, falling into line behind her. She had control of their minds, they would not turn coat or craven from her command. No, they were hers, but not in the same way as Ashborn and Skydd... They were mere pawns, cannon fodder. When they wandered into a more open, and further more a densely populated region, the second man, he who hadn't lost an arm, opened fire with his blaster rifle, while the other was limited to a basic pistol. Not that it mattered, it did not take them long to subdue the others...
