It has been too long since the Empire spread its domain, the moons have gone through whole entire phases without the borders being expanded beyond their current parameter.

Distant wars have occupied the Emperor's attention, and the Empire's expansion has plateaued.

In this reprieve, the outlying systems have forgotten. In their ignorance, they seek to band together to resist the Empire's implacable will. Have they forgotten the lessons of Malachor? The warning of Ession? Are they truly that foolish enough to not think that the Empire, in its limitless capacity for cruelty, will not heap upon them the same suffering as it has heaped upon dozens of others?

It is time for them to be reminded of just who they think to defy.

Let the red flag of war fly, for the Empire is on the move.

Objective I - Assault

The Trade Princes of Jabiim have openly declared themselves enemies of the Sith Empire, a foolish gesture of empty bravado. Yet, such bluster cannot be allowed to go unpunished. The Emperor has tasked you with dragging these Princes out from their hovels kicking and screaming. Fortunately for us, all three Princes have hold themselves up in the capital city of Choal. The fate of the city is inconsequential so long as the Princes are brought before the Emperor in chains, unspoiled.

Objective II - Trouble with the trolley, eh?

The mines of Jabiim are renowned for their exceptional mineral output, resulting in a class of Ore Barons who have profited off of the ore beneath Jabiim’s crust for centuries. As the Empire descends on the planet, several Ore Barons have reached out to negotiate an amicable surrender of the mines in exchange for clemency. In response to this, forces loyal to the Princes have set out to destroy the tram system running between the cities and the mine compounds. This cannot be allowed to happen.

Objective III - BYOO

Jabiim

[hr]

Choal.

Objective I.

Captain Aakej Tcrisea adjusted the straps on her boots, Jabiim was nothing but a ball of mud. It just so happened to have value and was on the path of expansion for the Sith Empire. Raptor Company of the Iron Talons Battalion deployed under the cover of darkness on the outskirts of Choal. Their task today was to take part in the search for these so-called Trade Princes of Jabiim. Tcrisea and her men were covered in head to toe with 'mud' armor. Even so, the sound of their boots glopping through was uneasy, and as was quite common for the planet. A torrential downpour opened up to the company's south as they made their way from the outskirts into the city proper. These Princes were quite bold to declare themselves enemies of the Empire and cowardly for turning tail when the Empire arrived to test them. The people of Choal either paid them no mind or sought refuge within their hovels.

Raptor Company broke into their squadrons, searching for these Trade Princes. Demanding they brought out to answer for such open hostilities against the Empire. Meanwhile, the sound of TIE Fighters screamed overhead. Tcrisea watched as sleek onyx hulls tore through the sky, they were unmistakably that of the Ravens. Noted for their carbon fiber raven on the rear of their TIEs. It wouldn't be the last time that Tcrisea would spot them today. Last she knew they had been stationed aboard one of the War Fleets, but then she did little to keep track of the pilots these days. Her focus was now was on the view her HUD provided. Thermal imaging did not distinguish between who she needed to drag out of their hovels, a switch to night vision aided as storm clouds approached threatening to drop rain atop of the company as they moved through the city.

Jabiim, Outskirts of Choal City

Objective I - Assault Choal City

"Punching through now. Calculating trajectory."

Visual scanning beyond the cockpit's viewport was impossible, the glasteel was slicked by rain and everything else beyond that was a thick miasma of blackness illuminated only by frequent bursts of atmospheric electricity. Such electrical disturbances were a common occurrence on Jabiim, for everyone one day of clear skies the other six were clogged with torrential downpours and thunderstorms. It forced the Imperial Military to reevaluate their incursion strategy, as the unstable electrical field around the planet distorted sensors and other integral systems on their aircraft. Even now their sensors were being baffled by the planet's natural defenses, rendering them utterly blind as they passed through the upper atmosphere.

Then, without warning, they burst past the black clouds. Rain still relentlessly coated the land, but at least now they could make out the hazy outline of the city against the backdrop of further lightning storms. Unfortunately, that meant that the anti-air emplacements on the capital city's walls could see them as well. One of the nearby ships exploded into a fireball of debris and tumbled down into the mud wastes below. Another soon followed it as each ship executed its own evasive maneuvers to avoid being picked off by the ground defenses, only to unknowingly bump up against one another in their blindness.

Yet for every ship shot down, three more made it through the barrage to land behind an outcropping of wind-shorn stone a kilometer or so beyond the city's walls. There they could establish a beachhead to lead sallies against the city's defenses, which were made all the more formidable due to the Empire's inability to rely on its siege and artillery walkers on the muddy, rain-soaked plains. The constant storms and heavy rain even impeded their much-needed orbital and aerial support, leaving them virtually stranded once they made planetfall.

But it was in these conditions that the mettle of the Imperial Legion was tested. They had been given a charge by their Emperor and they would not shirk away from this hallowed duty.

Instead of walkers, they would rely on repulsortanks outfitted with long-range artillery cannons and anti-infantry turrets to simultaneously defend their position, cover the Legionnaire's advance, and assault the very walls of Choal City. The Legionnaires themselves would be escorted by light tanks, nimble and agile as they floated above the debilitating terrain.

It would ultimately bog down into a war of will and attrition, one that the Legionnaires of the Sith Empire were more than willing to suffer if it meant victory for their Empire.

Jabiim

Choal.

Objective I.

Lightning storms gathered which meant any aerial support would be far and few between. Even if the pilots of Raven Squadron believed themselves capable, lightning threatened to do more than strike their craft. It threatened to ruin them. They had seen what this planet and its natural defenses had done with others of the Starfighter Guild. An order from Air Marshal Pavanos put a halt to their efforts, which meant that Raptor Company and the other Legionnaires were blind. Mud stuck to their armor and grasped around every centimeter it could. Thick glops of it slowly slid off the trooper's boots as they pushed through the city.Lorrdian Kinetic Communication would be key for the Raptors once again.

Sounds of blaster fire alerted one of the squadrons to a firefight. Imperial Legionnaires pinned down by Choal City Forces, and before reinforcements could arrive - an ambush. The Trade Princes had the advantage of terrain, making the fight that much harder on the part of Raptor Company. Worse, they were without their fierce Riftwalkers who could not operate on Jabiim. Man to man urban combat is what transpired, Captain Tcrisea took her squadron to find the ambushed team. Quickfire bursts eliminated any further attempts at choking her unit in a narrow path, pushing up to relieve the ambushed men.

Veteran Sergeant Acques, leader of the pinned down squad could see the reinforcements off to the right where machine gunfire bore down. She ducked behind a turned out log for cover and reloaded her blaster rifle. They had wounded among them but he could still fire his blaster the problem was the mud. Mud that continued to add weight to the armor, Acques looked the man over as she thought of a way to help him. While doing so she found a thermal detonator, a well-placed throw could get them out of this and reunited with their company. "Legionary, your detonator," Acques communicated and without hesitation, he handed it over.

Tcrisea ordered the men forward blasters out as they moved to reunite with Acques' unit. What had started as a door to door search for these Trade Princes had turned upside down with squadrons being met wit a hail of fire, forcing them to retreat. Just as clouds burst with rain overhead, and after an account of her platoon a realization was made. Her heavy weapon squadron was still out there, the lightning storm above would make communicating with them nearly impossible. Their only option now was to search on foot for the lost squadron.

Objective II - Protect the Tram System

Jabiim held a place of significance for the Lady of Secrets, so when it came time for the Sith Empire to expand and teach the Trade Princes the lesson of defiance, she had personally come along for the mission. Besides the historical events of the planet, Jabiim was also host to a large Aurora Industries operation for its Droid and Weapon Divisions and Taeli had long standing ties to the barons that controlled the ore mines on the world. Several of those mines had been bought up by her company, and she knew that any threat to the tram system that carried the valuable minerals through the mud had to be dealt with.

"Is the shipment ready?" Taeli asked. She was standing with a few of the ore barons that had allied themselves to the Sith. Around them, Sith soldiers and the barons' militia men were loading crates onto the tram or getting onto the tram itself armed and armored.

"Almost, my Lady," one of the barons replied. "You are certain the rebellious elements will strike our shipment?"

"I am, Minister Tratus," she replied, watching as some soldiers hoisted themselves up onto small scout walkers and mudskimmers. Pity they couldn't use repulsor tanks or speeder bikes for the escort or for their forward scouts, but if they could successfully get this shipment to the spaceport controlled by the Sith, the ore barons would know the Sith could protect their shipments. Plus, any attackers they killed would be less forces the Trade Princes could use if they survived the assault on Choal. "Commander, move out."

Pt. 1
Choal City Outskirts
Objective I: Assault the city and find the Trade Princes.
With Bryn Celli Ddu

Darth Dvasian had been relaxing on Dromund Kaas when he was called to Jabiim. He was eager to get back in the fight after being wounded and losing an eye to the Jedi a few weeks back. He prayed to Typhojem that they would come, as they so often did in defense of the weak, so that he would be able to reap some revenge. His thoughts were interrupted as the star destroyer he was in lept out of hyperspace in tandem with the rest of the armada.

In truth Jabiim looked like a beautiful planet, that was until they boarded transports and started making their way to the surface. It became clear as they broke through the atmosphere and entered the clouds that it was a terrible, muddy place. As they came down a third of the fighter escorts and transports in their group were shot down in balls of fire. The fight here was already looking like it would be difficult

Dvasian's lightsaber slid down his sleeve and into his hand as the ship touched down and opened its doors. Almost as soon as the doors opened their position was fired upon. A couple of overeager troopers ran past him before he stepped out and were both shot dead. Some bolts almost hit him too, but his speed and lightsaber skills were enough to send them back home. One hit a soldier in the chest, while the other two landed as headshots.

"That didn't go as planned, did it?" The Sith asked their corpses mockingly.

Two other Sith came out of the ship after him to assist in blaster deflection as the remaining trooper provided as much cover fire as he could.

"Come on! Let's go! It's fight time." Dvasian called out enthusiastically to a shadowy feminine figure still in the transport ship.

The two of them had met on Dromund Kaas not long ago. Really only long enough to watch a fight, share a drink and their names before they were called to duty. Bryn might not be anything more than an an enhance soldier here, but she was a pawn in the great scheme of things.

They parted ways only to meet up on one of the shuttles that took them to Jabiim. She was on a mission now and wore her garb. Only her mismatched eyes could be seen and if you were close enough to see them, then you were in trouble. However, with these men and women on the ship, she was not going to attack any of them.

Following in the steps of Dvasian and allowing the others to exit the ship, she hopped down and joined him. A baton in her hand was the only weapon that could be seen. There were others in her coat, but what they were was a mystery to be solved later.

It was raining, but that did not seem to concern the cyborg at all. Her modulated voice came from behind her mask as she looked at the carnage and advanced behind her companion.

"Right behind you, sir."

There was a purpose to her calling him that instead of his name. He was the one running the show here.

"Alter targeting to point-seven-four, forward batteries. Rear batteries, maintain current bombardment parameters. Relay to Commander Thresh that he may begin nominal skirmish, draw their commandos out into the open." The dulcet baritone that rumbled between the intermittent crack and roar of artillery fire set the gunners and peons to work, their faces oil-slick faces streaked by clear rivers of sweat. Nary a one were bold enough to glance upward at the imposing figure that stalked the trench parapets like a crimson demon. This man, if he could even be regarded as one, showed no fear as distant blaster fire struck near his feet or ricocheted off of his reflective cuirass.

He suffered far worse.

General Gol'zan was one of the Emperor's finest. An experience leader with thousands of hours of recorded combat experience fighting on his liege's behalf beyond the borders of his glorious Imperium. He had served with distinction before this Empire came to being, a record dating back to the height of the Old Empire as it was known. But to him, and to many others, there was no distinction made between all three periods of the Sith Empire as if they were separate states. It was all the same Empire, invigorated with the same purpose and sustained by the same drive.

So widespread was his devotion known, the General and others like him had gone to brand their foreheads with the same symbol worn by their hallowed Emperor; garnering the nickname the Emperor's Devotees.

It was a name they wore with pride.

"General," spoke a lower-ranking officer, one blessed with the same crimson skin as the General, "Commander Thresh has made contact." A sinister and foreboding smile emerged across the General's pock-scarred face, "Excellent. Inform the Commander that he is to pin them there indefinitely, and when he has complied you may begin to tighten the noose. I want speeders and light tanks to encircle them, let none break the perimeter." The General considered Commander Thresh little more than a blunt instrument, one that had long outlived its usefulness. If the Commander managed to survive the encirclement, he would receive all the just reward he deserved for valiant service to the Emperor and the Empire.

If not?

There were always more instruments in the Empire to be used.

Jabiim

Objective II.

Tram Systems.

Sergeant Dmitri and a squad of tactical legionnaires had been assigned to aid Lady Raaf. The legionnaires belonged to Shadow Knight Company of the Iron Talons, their advanced armor with its orange and gray patterns stood out on most worlds. Jabiim? On Jabiim it was almost perfect, a slight adjustment in tint would have helped, Dmitri thought. Their job today was to ensure that the tram system was secure. Dmitri wasn't alone, he was joined by Sgt. Strovenko a friend from the First Order who would take the rear of the tram while he and his men took the front. Between them Veteran Sergeant Den'adelwould hold the center of the tram, they stood by the chosen lead of the task - a commander none of them knew. He had joined them from another legion and thus there was some distrust amongst the Shadow Knights toward him and his legionnaires.

Theirs was not to ask theirs was to do and die, the poem echoed throughout Dmitri's mind. He and Legionary Jansen took a walk around their end to ensure any and all weapons had been mounted properly. He caught sight of Strovenko and gave him a small nod of approval, the two had come a long way from their first battle on Skor II when they were just young men in the First Order. The First Order may have been burnt by the Ssi-Ruuk Imperium but the soldiers it produced still stood. Only now, they stood with the Sith Empire having come over with the wave of refugees who escaped Dosuun. Thanks in part to their Grand Moff, and it was something that neither men would forget.

Objective I: Assault

Sometimes the most effective weapon was not the cannon or the sword, but the humble dagger. The most effective assault was not always the trampling march of a legion, but a small group of good soldiers. That was why, in the mud hell, Joycelyn Zambrano had not brought a legion. Instead she had brought a small group of hyal'hask, and a light set of armour. They had crawled out of the trenches and slipped into the city like quiet worms. Quietly they drew knives and slipped into the city. A pair of hounds followed them, vornskrs, the pets of the Princess of Dromund Kaas herself.

The hounds sniffed and growled as they helped show the way.

Joycelyn and her hyal'hask followed Alk and Ilke as they sniffed their way through narrow corners. All around them, firefights and bombardment rocked the land. They could feel it in their feet, smell it in the air. They could see the blood sprayed across walls and bodies laying in the mud

It didn't bother them. This was where they belonged.

"Not here, next one."

She waved for the hyal'hask to follow as she moved out of one hovel, over to the next. It was going to be a long battle.

Oversee the Invasion....

"Your Excellency General Gol'zag has begun his assault on the city." A military officer a human barely able to hide his nervousness at the sudden appearance of the Supreme Commander. It wasn't odd to see him on the field of battle but it wasn't expected either, and it didn't make it any less of a big deal to see the Emperor's chosen second in command. Gol'zag was one of the best Generals one of his finest, handpicked by the Shadow Hand and presented to the Emperor Darth Carnifex. He became one of the Emperor's Devout marking his body with the sigil the Emperor and Shadow Hand both maintained. Good. He could rely on Gol'zag and his loyalty as well as those who served under him. "Contact the General I wish to speak with him." Darth Prazutis ordered, the aid nodding quickly as he reached out to make contact with the General. Once the channel was opened he began to speak his voice a deep baritone rumble accompanied with an otherwordly hypnotic lull "General Gol'zag. We are on site and I will be watching your progress. You will have whatever assets you require. Do be careful with bombardments close to the Trade Prince's palace, the Emperor requests the Trade Princes brought before him alive and unspoiled."

Objective II - Protect the Tram System

As the tram began to move, Taeli paced along the different cars, taking in the feel of the soldiers within the Force and how differently they felt to the barons' militia. There was iron there, a resolve, and a contempt for the new commander that was on loan to oversee the operation along with Taeli. Commander Fyso Direli, of Fondor, had been one of the men who defected to the Sith Empire during Operation: Eclipse and had only recently transferred to a unit assigned to an expansion front. Taeli was unsure why he had taken so long to do so, as others had immediately joined different military units or went back undercover.

She didn't know them by name, but she was fairly certain most of the Iron Talons had been recruited from former First Order soldiers, given her wife's and Tarkin's inclinations, which could also explain some of the resentment they felt towards the commander.

The tram moved slowly, allowing the mounted troopers on either side to keep pace with the precious cargo they were transporting. Reaching the main car, Taeli took her place at a small holographic table with Commander Direli and the man commanding the barons' militia. A display of the terrain along the route was visible, with the track running right through a sheer canyon in about ten minutes. If there was going to be an ambush, it would be there where the train and its escorts were packed tightly together.

"General, you're being contacted by High Command."

The ground shuddered violently as the reverberating vibrations from a nearby artillery emplacement rung out with the tone of finality, another heavy explosive shell lobbed at the distant walls of Choal. For several moments the General did not deign to respond, his eyes firmly pressed against the optical inputs of a quadnocular. When at last the salvo of artillery shells fell silent, the General looked away from the carnage to regard the adjutant.

"Very well."

Retreating back into forward command, which was little more than a canvas tent held up by durasteel rods against a barren rock in a sea of mud, the General commanded the room be cleared as he completed the connection circuit. General Gol'zag fell to one knee as the image of the Shadow Hand materialized before him, his head reclined down in respect and submission before the superior warrior.

"What is thy bidding, my master?"

"General Gol'zag. We are on site and I will be watching your progress. You will have whatever assets you require. Do be careful with bombardments close to the Trade Prince's palace, the Emperor requests the Trade Princes brought before him alive and unspoiled."

"Your will, and the will of the Emperor, is mine to obey. I will ensure that our assault does not compromise the Emperor's prizes."

Objective- 1, Provide anti armor support for Light Tanks

Post- 1

A dull red flooded the bay of the transport as it shuddered and cut through Jabiim's dense cloud layers towards the platoon's intended destination thousands of meters below. The bay was silent. Not long before the Legionnaires' Officers had indicated that the enemy had AA, and that it was unlikely the AA would be destroyed or otherwise hindered before the assault began. Barring total incompetence on the part of the enemy or divine intervention, casualties were expected to be high and resistance fierce. Many of the Legionnaires were likely stepping into what might soon be a flaming amalgamation of durasteel and the remnants of themselves and their surrogate family. They handled the stress as they were taught, without hesitation or complaint. Internally many of them, particularly the greener among the Legionnaires fought the weaker parts of themselves silently as they actualized their oaths to the Emperor. Marcus felt something else. A creeping coldness that seemed to move along his neck and moved its way towards his temple. Marcus accepted the sensation and felt a tension in the bay when the Pilot screeched over the com "INCOMING" and heated gas threatened the tiny metal sanctuary with it's Legionnaire cargo.

The world twisted around them as the Pilot adjusted for the plasma and flipped about to avoid their untimely demise. Marcus felt his stomach drop and fought to reorient himself as the Pilot leveled out, full throttle for the objective. A few shouts of exclamation from the younger Legionnaires echoed through the coms as their destination grew closer. The transport began to slow as the ambient red turned to green and the Legionnaires unstrapped themselves from their crash seats. They stood in unison just before the ramp dropped and the Legionnaires hit the wind and mud running. AA howled and not so distant explosions flooded Marcus's senses. It was all so incredibly loud. Marcus hit the mud with the rest and set up a perimeter with his squad as their Team Leader howled at himself and the other first timers. Behind them artillery thumped, sending reverberations through the ground beneath them. The infantry were waiting on the artillery to punch a hole for the tanks that were in route, then were to follow the armor into the city itself and eliminate the enemy without harming the royalty. Roaring engines sounded overhead , bringing with it more Legionnaires and the Legion's Armor. AA would occasionally find it's mark and send horrific sounds to the LZ as the infantry took it's place behind the armor and prepared to move. Marcus's position was taken by another Legionnaire, part of a platoon that landed behind them to maintain the perimeter when the armor moved behind it. Marcus felt the cold again from behind his comrade's visor. Fear. The soldier that had taken his place was terrified. Marcus shuddered and took his place among the tanks as a string of low booms signaled the barrage they were awaiting.

The dull muddy landscape lit up with the combined firepower of the Legion's Artillery as thousands of pounds of wall and mud were thrown spectacularly in all directions and Marcus found himself dumbstruck by the scale of the artillery battery's affect on the planet beneath them. The shaking and noise was interrupted by a smack to the back of his helmet and the howling Team Leader returned to remind them of what they were doing. Marcus moved with his Autokrator at the ready as his MTB-5 remained slung behind him and the mud sunk below him toward the flaming gap that had appeared in the wall before them.

Canyons. One wrong move and that would be it, Sgt. Dmitri and Strovenko kept alert and as if on a secondary instinct, Dmitri sensed something was wrong. The Veteran Sergeant must have as well as the tram moved and cars began to run a little tighter together. "BRACE!" His modulated voice shouted over communications, Den'adel gave the order and the troops braced as the tram met with explosives. A firefight began with Choal City Forces engaging the Sith Legionnaires, they swept into the tram and the Legionnaires moved to push them out. Dmitri kicked one in the chest square and did not bother to watch the man fall. "SHADOW KNIGHTS!" Dmitri shouted as a few stealth troopers emerged to take down some of the ambushers

Objective I.

Choal City.

Dense, thick swamps made searching for the lost squadron a chore. As they combed through looking for their men the sound of armor struggling through could be heard. Jabiim would swallow the tanks if the men weren't careful. Tcrisea and Acques had the men fan out - the swamps as the mud clung to their alabaster plastoid armor. Body gloves sealed in the sweat that the Raptors felt as they trudged forward. Acques held up a signal for them to stop, and then there was a flare. Tcrisea's helmet seemed to be a swivel, she wanted to believe it was their squadron. It could also be a trap, splitting up would be costly.

"Change our formation, approach with caution," Acques suggested.

"Right, you heard the Sergeant, move," Tcrisea ordered.

"Excellent. Burn the memory of our coming into their minds general, make them know fear. Keep me apraised of any important developments." He ordered the kneeling warrior his visage disappearing as the channel ended. Gol'zag would understand what the gaze of the Shadow Hand meant, above all it meant for his assault that Gol'zag had a virtual limitless reservoir of assets at his beckon call, the full firepower of War Fleet Leviathan was at the ready. Failure was not an option today not in the face of such defiance, such ignorance on the part of the Trade Prince's. They dared to deny the carrot, so now they would be forced to accept the stick. "Send for the Butchers. I would have the Emperors prizes alive and unspoiled. Kill everything else." He ordered to one of his dark cloaked aides.

Objective: I - Assault the City

Location: Dropping in, Central Palace

Capture the Leadership....

Soaring through the skies in a shuttle came an abomination.

A tower of a man at roughly seven feet tall if he even was a man at all. There was a time that this Maenan came close to that, he was strong with deep roots to the True Maenan's that gifted him with an almost reptilian esque appearance. He had milky white ivory skin at one time, pointed ears, a sharp toothy maw and eyes of cinder but now? Now he was different. The mans flesh was torn in thousands of different ways his flesh marred by thousands upon thousands of weapons, marked by the vice grip of war. Every inch of flesh had been layered with fatal scars that tore it apart in such an agonizing way. Any medical professional would tell you that he should've been dead, there was no way anyone could survive such brutality. Yet somehow this man clad in dark, twisted armor kneeling in the back of the rapidly descending shuttle seemed unperturbed by such pain.

This was no normal man.

Bael Gar the Enduring, Master of the Temple of Yig-ar'hazir, Keeper of the Black Pyramid of Eternity, Prophet of the Undying, Lord of Pain, and High Priest to the Butchers of Ya'zid-rah.

For many centuries since the appearance of Ya'zid-rah on Maena, ever since his historic victory at the Sestercentennial Blood Purge Games, his survival through the dangerous journey, and victory at the Grand Games of the Blood Purge Champions, ever since his nomination as Bloodsoaked Desecrator did Bael'Gar worship the legendary figure as a god. It wasn't the first deed accomplished by Ya'zid-rah the Undying and it certainly wasn't the last. It was in his gods honor that he marred his body with scars never allowing them to heal, keeping himself alive purely through the dark powers alone. It was in his gods name that Bael'Gar was cut a thousand times and survived a thousand times. The great one had called to him, chose him, and he answered. In the centuries since the Butchers of Ya'zid-rah grew to a great size, they even expanded off of Maena and into the galaxy with Bael'Gar as their leader, their shepherd. When his god called without question he came and now his service called him and his twelve Chosen to Jabiim.

"My Prophet. These heretics stand an obstacle to my will. These three must be brought before me alive and unspoiled, all others must die swiftly." The otherworldly voice of his master thrummed inside his mind accompanied by visions of a palace, three men. They word of his god and the faces of his enemy were enough. Nothing would stop him. "Thy will be done most benevolent one. They will be yours" Bael'Gar said. Immediately he stood up and grabbed the twin hilts of his Zybiisan Hook Swords, their blades seethed with a poisonous corruptive power that spelled death for any touched by their dark steel. The shuttle rocked with fire as it swung over the palace taking fire, its ramp lowered and out jumped the Enduring roughly thirty feet above the roof below right into the thick of men who manned weapon emplacements. As he charged forward their blasts tore through him blasters burning through grayed skin or deflecting off hardened armor. When he collided with the enemy the hook swords came down and he slaughtered them. Killing them wasn't enough for Bael'Gar no, after a killing blow many more strikes followed. It was so visceral, so bloody the soldiers collapsed to the earth in many different pieces.

"BLOOD FOR THE UNDYING" He roared.

Objective III - My Precious!

Location: Onboard Chimaera II

"In this little corner of the galaxy laid a group of greedy credit grubbers known as Trade Princes. They are a cohesive group of parasites bleeding Jabiim dry." Zahori stated as she looked out of a viewport. Before her, on the other side of the viewport, was the planet the Sith had set their sites on: Jabiim. The world had come through Zahori's information networks before. The mining operations on the world were rather abundandt and would prove useful to the Sith Empire should it gain control of them. There was but one small obstacle in the way of this, however. "So, tell me why should I put my trust in you, a lowly servant of one of these Princes?" Zahori asked as she swiftly turned around and looked at the man she was speaking with.

"Lord Denko. I wish for a mutual relationship between us. You help me, I help you." The man uttered.

"You think I would dare ever owe you anything?" Zahori hissed. "You are nothing to me. If I even remotely needed your help, I would not dare sink so low as to appeal to the best interests of a servant."

"But, my lord, what if I were to give you...this?" the man questioned as he pulled out a small holoprojector and activated. What appeared to be a gem of sorts. A sick grin grew ont he man's face as he presented his offer to Zahori.

"And that is?" Zahori asked as she walked closer to get a better look at the projection.

"This, my lady, is a force crystal. It has the power to turn a powerful Sith Lord, such as yourself, into a powerful force that could tear through an entire planet on their own. Now, there is a catch. You must help me become a Trade Prince. Think of it like this: not only will you get this powerful crystal, but you will also have a strong ally on Jabiim. What do you say?" The man's offer heavily favored Zahori. She could just rip the information in regards to the crystal's location from his head or tortured it out of him, but the idea of an ally on Jabiim was a bit too enticing.

"Very well. Where do we begin?" Zahori asked.

Jabiim

Objective I.

Choal City.

Behind Raptor Company, there was a sudden rush of movement. Tcrisea's eyes went wide beneath her helmet, it would be hard to miss the massive form of the Undying. Suddenly Choal City Forces were distracted, "here's our chance, Acques." She remarked just loud enough for coms to pick up. A motion of her hand meant the company would rush toward the signal flare. It was as if the Legionnaires had been given a new surge of morale as they worked their way through the mud. Out of the dense swamp, they found the lost squadron holding out with a few men still standing the others were either wounded or dead.

Sgt. Grant welcomed the sight of his Veteran Sgt. Acques and of course the Company's commander Tcrisea. Side by side Raptor Company aided their brother and sisters in arms, there was a signal of a march to the palace. They were so far out, and with AA still working the Ravens would not take off. "We need to take those guns down, Ravens are willing to risk flying blind and no sensors for a straight bombing run if we can get those guns down," Grant informed both of his superiors, and gestured again toward the palace. "It's our only chance, we can get through there to the city walls."

Tcrisea weighed her options, stay there and risk waiting for more Choal City Forces or drawback to the palace. "Let's go then, we haven't much time."

The mattered was settled, and Raptor Company regrouped and reformed charging headlong toward the palace. They could hear him the Prophet of the Undying as he roared through the palace, his voice reverberated throughout the area. The Imperial Legionnaires double-timed it, Choal City Forces took note of their approach and turned to fire on them. Raptor Company would not be denied their goals, quick-fire bursts sent their opponents down as quick as they could rise. Wisps of crimson flew through the air promising death as they landed on their foes.

Objective II.

Tram.

Over at the Tram, Shadow Knight Company squadrons led by Sgts. Dmitri and Strovenko showed why they had been chosen for this Legion. Veteran Sgt. Den'adel fired into one of the ambushers, the blaster bolt tore through the light armor with ease. Jansen and Dmitri's blades worked their way through those who attempted to board the tram. Their orders had been quite clear and whilst a shadow legionary emerged to land his vibrodagger into another ambusher he was sent pummeling down the canyon by enemy fire. "Get them, now!"

Sgt. Strovenko's boots could be heard as he and three other legionnaires stormed toward their opponents. He bore a quick blade in his gauntlet and as he leaped forward he drove it straight through one of the ambusher's chin. Up it went piercing through flesh, as the men with him shot forward with their own blades. As Strovenko stood the blade retracted and he was met with an ambusher's blade. Shaking it off he grabbed his own Imperial vibrosword, it clashed with such resonance it could be heard along the tram - but they were not the only ones present."We need to keep this tram moving, do not stop!" Veteran Sgt. Den'adel's words were meant for Commander Direli. The cargo had to reach its destination, and it would do so on the last dying breath of the Shadow Knights if it came down to it.

The question now was, could the tram even move?

It was dark in the train car.

That didn't matter, he could see through darkness as if it were light.

But what of the intruders? Doubtful.

They crept in through one of the side doors, prying open the thick metal obstacle with hydraulic tools that could barely be heard over the combined din of battle and the pitter-patter downpour of rain that hampered all in the field. There was little ambient light from outside to illuminate their passage, so they were forced to result to using glow-rods and lanterns; though even those seemed to dim as they entered the car. From an initial perspective the entire car seemed empty, devoid of passengers and guards. Stacks of crates and other material stood in haphazard piles around the room, creating a labyrinth through which the intruders were forced to navigate.

He watched from the shadows, his eyes blurry with primal tears as he held both of his ear covers in his open palms. The cacophony of sounds outside the car was agonizing to him, but he welcomed the pain. He feasted on it, letting it roil through his body until he broke out in cold sweats. His teeth were grit, lips peeled back in a feral grin as he bided his time; submerged in deafening agony.

Then, one by one, he covered his ears with his coverings and disappeared into shadows with only the displacement of dust to mark his passage. Silence ruled as the car grew quieter, the absence quickly punctuated by grunts of surprise and the discharge of blasters. Surprise gave way to caution, and caution inevitably gave way to panic. The slightest noise elicited a violent response, empty corners waylaid by explosive rounds and innumerable blaster bolts before being rendered silent with a wind's whisper. Bodies, necks bent at unnatural angles, littered the floor where they had fallen, the faintest trickle of blood oozing out from blackened lips to coagulate on the durasteel paneling.

Emerging into the light, there was little to distinguish the Pau'an as having been in any fight at all. He glanced up where the fighting was its heaviest and leapt up onto the train car's roof; the Force keeping his boots from sliding on the rain-slick surface.

"More prey."
