OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

  • Intent: To create a Chemical Compound.
  • Primary Source: N/A

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

  • Name: Scientific: X-231 Street: N/A
  • Manufacturer:  Gen-Tec
  • Affiliation: Caesar Kenway Taramaz Laurs
  • Homeworld (optional): N/A
  • Production: Semi-Unique

  • Modularity: No
  • Legal Status: Illegal to civilians, Legal if used in Military purposes in the Project Code-named: Olympus
  • Ingredients: Water, White-Blood Cells, Red-Blood Cells, Chemical Components

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

  • Classification: Genomic Mutator
  • Method of Consumption: Injection. Injection of greater than one dose will give an almost 100% mortality chance.
  • Average Life: As long as the body lives.
  • Nutritional Value/Allergies/Side Effects/ Purpose: No nutritional value, no allergic reaction potential, Side Effects: Death, Exruciating Pain

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Highly-Increased Muscle Mass
  • Bodily-Growth
  • Inhuman Pain Tolerance
  • Regenerative Factor
  • Disease/Poison Resistance
  • Enhanced Senses
  • Highly-Increased Stamina

Strengths:

  • Super-Steroid: The X-231 Serum is, basically, a permanent super steroid, granting insanely increased muscle mass, gifting the very few who took it with the ability to bench press atleast twice their own body weight.
  • Super-Painkiller: The X-231 Serum grants inhuman levels of pain tolerance, and a natural regenerative factor.
  • Disease & Poison Resistance: The X-231 Serum grants immunity to most common strands of diseases, and immunity to some advanced or known mutated diseases. It also heavily negates the effects of most common poisons.
  • Lifetime Guarantee: The Serum's effects are permanent, due to being injected directly into the bone marrow, forcing the bones to create different cells, effectively causing the serum to keep recreating itself, replacing the ordinary blood system. Due to the nature of this, the genetically changed blood then circulates, 'infecting' the rest of the body. This is a slow change, and is what causes the excruciating pain
  • Enhanced Senses: The Serum also improves the senses of the individual greatly, to superhuman standards.

Weaknesses:

  • Pain, without Love: For the first week after being injected with the serum, the individual injected experiences pain that is beyond what a normal human could ever endure, hence the pain tolerance, which numbs the nervous system enough to prevent the nerves being fried. However, no physical comfort should be given, due to the pain being so great, it will likely cause aggressive outbursts and hallucinations.
  • Limited Manufacturing: Due to the nature of the Serum, only one batch has been manufactured, this batch contains eight doses.
  • Oversensitive: The enhanced senses the Serum provides could be overloaded easier.
  • Rejection: The body may entirely reject the Serum, causing an immune system response. However, due to the nature of the serum, the chances of surviving rejection are below one percent.
  • Unrefined: The Serum's changes are slow, and take a minimum of a week to fully develop, even then, it would take extreme training to fully refine the individual's newfound strength, speed, etc. Waking up one day with a major, sudden enhancement to your physical performance can be overwhelming, causing stumbling and other effects within the first few days.

DESCRIPTION
The X-231 Serum is GenTec's greatest achievement by far. The concentrated chemicals promote large amounts of muscle growth when injected into an adult body. This muscle growth allows the user to lift up to twice their own body weight unassisted. The serum also forces the body to grow more, resulting in up to a foot in extra height, with proportional body weight and size. The red and white blood cells are mixed in with water, then with the serum to prevent the body from detecting a completely foreign liquid being injected in the bloodstream and bone marrow, significantly reducing the risk of an immune system response.

The serum also includes various other chemical components, which allow serious pain tolerance, which is necessary for the pain induced by the process in which the serum is injected.

The process in which the serum is injected is complicated yet simple. The subject must be unconscious, and restrained with metal restraints of atleast six inches in thickness. The serum is then injected directly into the bone marrow in the upper arm by two drills. Then it is injected by two needles into arteries in the thighs. The subject is then put into an artificial coma for the first two days after injection to help numb the worst of the pain. Once injected into the bone marrow, the bones begin to produce blood that is 'infected' with the serum, which then spreads through out the body, in roughly a week, 'infecting' all of the organs, and effectively, the entire body. The part that causes the pain is the drilling into the bone marrow, which takes about the same time as it does for the serum to fully 'infect' the body, to heal. Then, after a base time of one week from injection, the pain should subside, and the subject should notice the extreme changes in their physique.

The Serum's bodily enhancing effects are permanent, so long as the body remains alive. Other effects the serum gifts are: Greatly Enhanced Senses, A Regenerative Factor, Disease/Poison Protection, Increased Stamina

an interesting stimulant. Average life needs to have how long the drug lasts. A day, A week? what's the trade off?

If it lasts forever then how do they feel the excruciating pain? Given it gives the user more pain tolerance and lasts until the body dies?

Also how does it last that long in the body? Most stims last an amount of time even a year. If it lasts forever why make more of it?

Added more depth to the description & Strengths/Weaknesses to clarify what the serum does, why the pain is there, how long the pain lasts, and why the serum lasts so long.

Also made it only one batch, with eight doses in it, and changed the classification to "Genomic Mutator" (Mutates the genetics/genome, for clarification).

I'll be taking this over for Tom.

So, there aren't really any balance issues but, I'm going to ask that you just remove the RL substances and just go with vague "Chemical Components" because those substances are R. U. F. F. rough and would generally just kill anyone who touched this.

One minor suggestion, You could have their bodies react to Overstress for when they push their bodies past safe limits it causes minor injuries, etc. Just a thought.

Removed all references to the RL substances that I could find. In reference to the Overstress reaction, would that not happen normally with regular bodies?

Thank you.

Yeah, it would. Its just a suggestion, but I'm not terribly concerned given the scope of the submission.

Approved.
