Bark at the Moon!

One Sith v.s. The Galactic Republic

Invasion of Telti

OOC Discussion Thread

Grey skies overhung Telti, a moon located within the Inner Rim and used historically for the production of battle droids.  Amidst a sky of gloom and melancholy, the metal sheets ripped open to reveal the incoming attack of the One Sith: broad strokes of gun metal mixed with a hint of red.  The invasion force, entirely loyal to the One Sith and the purpose of the War Machine, was set forth by the over hanging tone of the Wrath and his words that relayed the purpose of the Dark Lord.  Move forth, destroy everything in your path, and leave nothing for the Jedi to pine.  Let them sup upon failure and regret this day.

From the gaping maw of the Teleute Class Destroyer, Gabriel, among those that would follow him, would descend upon the world in the carapace of the Yorik-trema, rushing hurriedly to the surface of the moon.  His aim: to quickly entered one of the domed structures that demarcated the ancient droid production facilities.  In the backdrop, the Legion Yun'Do would make their presence known upon the planet, though they would not claim the glory of this fight today.  It was for the One Sith to make their way now, to claim the moon for their own, to wipe clean the surface of any debris unwanted.  The Jedi

As the unnamed Yorik-trema chewed down upon the surface of the moon, the Wrath stepped out in his hermetically sealed Vonduun Skerr Ygdris.  Beneath the armor, he flexed his right arm, new and improved Voxyn al'Do, an artifact of recent events on Selvaris.  He hadn't had the opportunity to test out the strength of the suit with the modified arm but he would assuredly make someone regret meeting him on this day.  Resting on his back, a Chitin Carbine that came standard with the suit and one of two Chom-Huuns squirmed against his back, held in place by pincers of the Vonduun, and well fed.  Of course, he never invaded a planet without Reebas, his somewhat modified lightsaber for use in makashi combat, and a handful of Yuuzhan Vong toys for the unsuspecting victim of his anger.

He looked back towards those who had followed him down, the seal of the suit and glow of the eyes revealing a mysterious likeness to members of his Legion, before turning and entering the circular dome conveniently labeled F8 - to the sounds of sirens and defenses firing volleys towards the incoming invasion force.  Music to his ears.

The Wrath's stuff:

"Hey!"  came the abrupt half annoyed sound of Micah as Kai's eyes would flare with impish delight.  A quick flash of his hand would reach out to reclaim his Nuna Nugget, only to be foiled as the equally quick youngest sibling would skirt back.

"Nope! Mine!"  she'd say with glee, popping the pilfered Nuna nugget into her mouth and chewing victoriously.  Micah would glower, but then take mild satisfaction at stealing Kai's basket of fried oona chips.

They had stopped by the small moon within Republic space to refuel and find something to fill their bellies that wasn't reproduced fabricated meals.  And since this was the only McYoda's within the sector,  it was obviously the only stop.

They were here along with some of their friends,  and Micah was looking rather smug -- at least until the klaxons went roaring over their heads.

Frowning,  Micah would glance at his companion.

Aela sat quietly in the corner of the restaurant away from all the others.

Her messenger bag lay on the table, two datapads, her lightsaber, and a small figurine of a Skreev sitting inside of it. The last was a gift that she had bought for Kaili, unbeknownst to her little sister. After their little conversation Aela had decided that she wanted to get Kaili a gift, the figurine had simply been too good to pass up.

The young woman lifted her nose from her book momentarily to look at the rest of the group, smiling slightly as she watched Micah impishly bandy about. Her eyes flickered over to her mother briefly, then back to the pages of her book.

It was a novel about pirates, though highly romanticized pirates.

Of course that was a bit of information that no one knew as the books cover had been swapped out in favor of one more...dark. A mystery novel that her father had bought her some years ago. As of yet no one had suspected...or really cared.

She smiled slightly and continued to read.

Too long, too long, too long since she’d known the right-under-the-skin excitement of preparing to exit the darkness of the ship to the stark reality of a good old-fashioned fight – she was craving someone else’s end, bone splintering under her fist, blinking blood out of her eyes. The Galaxy had taken a breath after Akala’s adventures but the Sith machine had never slept. And as always it hungered, looking for more to devour.

She wore light armor, her preferred bodysuit that would protect her from little beyond the dusting of a blade, but allowed her to keep her swiftness in return. Packing light, she’d brought her saber and the knife she’d gotten back from Aaralyn Rekali’s daughter, eager to stain it with another Jedi’s blood. As always, the Force was her greatest weapon.

Hair pulled tightly on top of her head, she clipped her mask over her face so only the amber glow of her eyes showed. They met Gabriel’s as he looked around, a little nod offered before she stepped out in the dome with him, starting to store power the minute her feet hit the ground.

The small shuttle, like many others, silently floated through the silent void of space, heading towards the lone moon. It almost looked like a factory; buildings enveloped much of the surface and aside from the few large spots of barren ground created an illusion of the moon being a space station. Ripping this out of the Republic’s greedy hands would undoubtedly give the Sith a nice stepping stone into the territory of their enemies. Plus any Jedi defending this rock would die. It was a good deal. The shuttle swiftly descended, searching for a docking port to connect to. From the outside, the facility appeared like a corpse – dead and cold – but only the Force could tell what awaited on the inside. After a minute or two it took to find a suitable place to dock, the path was open and the Sith Lord swiftly marched in. With a hiss, the door closed behind the Mon Cal as the ship disconnected and departed. He was alone now, but for how long? Shutting his eyes, he quickly opened himself up to the Force, paying no heed to the world around.

Avreet’s bulbous eyes slowly opened as the amphibious Sith Lord roused from meditation, absorbing the energy of the Force while he had the time to do so peacefully, with no distractions threatening to break his focus or claim his life. Soon, very soon, the factory would become a giant meat grinder, with the majority of soldiers, whether aligned with the Republic or One Sith, not making it out alive; reduced to bloody paste on the rusted metal floor, greasy stains on poorly illuminated walls, mutilated carcasses making company to lifeless body parts scattered around like smoking slices of meat and air filled with the sickening stench of burnt tissue, further adding to the image of slaughter. Even the Force, as if knowing something was about to happen soon, remained suspiciously silent, the calm before the bloody storm. It knew what was about to go off, the Dark clashing against the Light, once again. Only the presences of others stood above the seemingly calm surface, their powers and signatures making ripples in the sea of the Force. The amphibian’s presence and signature could not be felt though. Remaining calm and collected, not entirely unfamiliar to the typical state of his enemies in meditation, Avreet vanished from the Force, the only proof of him standing there being his physical form and even then, one could not be entirely sure in case of a master illusionist.

Aside from being armed with the intoxicating Dark Side and the benevolent Light Side, making use from both aspects of the Force and utilizing it as a whole, the Sith Lord also carried his beautiful curved lightsabers, both hilts hanging on his belt, swinging back and forth. The medpac that always remained there only added to the familiar equipment Veles used to carry around at all time, though now another item hanged there, its weight noticeable. A heavy blaster pistol, the same one that had served as a replacement for his second lightsaber until the Sith Lord’s reunion with his favourite weapon. It remained on the belt regardless, dancing with both lightsabers with each step the amphibian took. His footsteps made no noise despite the Sith Lord walking on a metal floor, much like the halls of the facility that remained unnervingly quiet, no shuffle of footsteps coming from all around that would ricochet between the metal walls that protected them all from the vacuum outside. It was only a matter of time before he’d hear the first shots though and feel the Dark Side growing stronger with each death. Or perhaps he wouldn’t hear any of it considering his ability to bend sound waves. It all remained to be seen as the battle unfolded.

"The devil's neatest trick is to persuade us that he doesn't exist."

The lull had finally come to an end, and it was an end that had been impatiently hungered for by many, and once again the skies were split asunder with a thunderous roar as the monsters of war spilled from the heavens in endless rolling waves. The red-hot blitzkrieg came from nowhere, and in mere moments the lines of battle were drawn in the blackened, blood-soaked sand as the legions of darkness and light lined up on either shore and brandished their ill intent with righteous conviction. Some may disagree and argue that this was just a war, like all the wars had been before, but the being that called himself Vornskr saw this as more than just a simple war.

It was armageddon.

Ragnarök.

The Doom.

The End of Days.

For him this six-year long conflict had been more than just some war over philosophical differences and animosity than ran back thousands and thousands of years, it was the culmination of the Dark Side's will that sought to wipe the galaxy clean of impurities, the weak, the alien, the Jedi... and replace it with those who had the strength of mind, body, and spirit to govern the galaxy the way it needs to be. The Sith, the chosen apex predators of the Force, currently waged violent crusade against the complacent and the inept. The Jedi were the largest target, but the galactic community was infested with weakness and needed to be purged of everything that held it back and kept it fragmented. Vornskr believed that this war, this most holy of agendas, was the only way to achieve such a utopia.

Bath the entire galaxy in fire, and let the flames melt away the undesirables.

But, they were far off from achieving that goal, but each step, each victory, brought them closer to ultimate glory. So, the horn-call of war now sounded across the miserable moon of Telti, and the hounds of the darkness answered the call with the braying of cannons, and the thrum of countless warships. One such vessel was under the command of Darth Vornskr, Voice of the Dark Lord and champion of the Dark Side, who meditated deep within the bowels of the metal behemoth, bringing himself closer with the Dark Side as the battle started to rage around him. He soaked it all in, the surprise, the fear, the hunger, the hatred, and strengthened his center of being as hooded servants slathered his muscular form with blessed oils that smelled of the dead, and affixed the black battle armor over the shiny skin. This was a tradition that ran back eons in the culture of his proud people, the Epicanthix, and on the eve of every battle he repeated the ritual before himself charging into the breach.

With the final section of armor finally secured, the servants slide a dark cowl and armored crown over the Sith Lord's head and shoulders, and then proceeded to secure a mask that protected his face from basic attacks. Then, the servants backing away in sudden fear, the Sith Lord arose with silent fluid motion, and extended both hands out to his side as a power lightly thrummed in the back of his mind. From a nearby pedestal came the ornate lightsaber infamously wielded by the Sith Lord, and from the darkness of the room came forth a slithering mass of black flesh and scales measuring over three meters in length to slither up his leg and wrap itself around his waist like a living belt. The Lord then departed and made his way to the warship's hanger bay where a battalion of grim-faced and black-armored Blackblade Guards waited patiently for their Lord to arrive.

He said no words to them, for they needed to encouragement for what was to come, and after inspected the assembled troops for a moment he barked an order to the lesser commanders of the battalion and began to load up the soldiers into individual Imperial Transports that would ferry them from the warship to the moon's surface under the protection of dedicated fighter escort. They had chosen their target carefully, and had gone through various tactical scenarios before even reaching the planet, and so the Blackblades needed no instruction on what to do as they broke through the screen of defenses to converge on the structure codenamed as Dome D-1.

The transports blasted through the docking bay defenses, and adhered themselves to the metal surface as the soldiers within cut their way through the doors and finally breached the inner Dome. And thus those unfortunate enough to be within Dome D-1 were greeted by three hundred Blackblade soldiers and their murderous Sith leader.

"The skies turn red with the blood of the fallen! The Dark Lord watches over us, minions! Leave nothing but ashes and misery in your destructive wake!"

Feathers as black as a raven's wing in mid-day ruffled in anticipation, mixed with the hair on her head.  The lightsaber, knife, and gun hung snugly on her tall and wiry form.  But her greatest weapon?

The mental illusions and mindfrakking Lord Xiangu helped to cultivate in Heron's budding mind.

The darkness radiated off the lords like the spicy-sweet smell that lingered on her master, Cameron Centurion: addiction, empowering, and downright knee-wobbly.

While in transition to F8, she thought she caught a glimpse of a McYoda arch and could imagine the smell of everything fried.

Sage Bane, Sith Knight and Illusionist, stalked cagily down the corridors of the ancient droid facility on one of Telti's moons, his lust for blood singing an ear-splitting dirge in the back of his mind. He had arrived on the moon along with the Sith's most feared Masters, Knights, and Acolytes with aims to destroy the Jedi in a battle that would kick off the One Sith's seizure of the Republic planet. The pale Knight was clad in armorweave clothing with an ink black cloak wrapped around his bony frame. Clipped to his belt was his lightsaber, its a blood red plasma blade ready to ignite, and strapped to his right thigh was a fire whip, an exotic weapon his brother had found for him on the Coruscant black market.

With Klaxons blaring and his cloak billowing around him, Sage caressed his fetish, The Hated Hand, a wooden hand painted with ancient Sith markings and infused with rich, arcane magic. By bending forward the fingers of the hand in succession, the owner of the hand could strengthen the power of Sith magic illusions, a talent that Sage had learned from his former Master, Matsu Xiangu, whose velvety black signature he could sense somewhere in the darkened halls.

The ravenous urges of Sage's amphistaff arm, at the moment glamoured behind its Vong masquer, felt not only Xiangu's familiar Force signature, but also hints of various auras of Jedi and Sith alike throughout the labyrinthine structure. The Vong-formed creatures bucked at their restraints, threatening to burst from his flesh at any moment. Sage was getting better at controlling them, but it took a heroic and painful effort. That effort was the price that Sage had agreed to pay in exchange for the power of Vong technology, at his literal fingertips.

The Jedi Vahla, like everyone else, had heard the reports of an impending Sith invasion come flooding through the complex's speakers. Most believed, including herself, that the Sith would never come here when they had heard about a fleet gathering on the fringes of space days ago. Yet, here they were. She scrambled her small force together checking each and everyone of her soldier's equipment. She tried to cast aside the thought that some of her troops would not be coming back under her guidance. Death on your conscience was never a good thing. Regardless, if they were to sacrifice their lives to repel the uninvited guests then at least she wanted to be assured they were properly equipped, and everything working.

"Listen up," she said raising her voice over all the commotion. "Don't be heroes! Don't react to situations until the entire scene is played out! Think! Think! This is our home and what do you do with those that enter without permission? You kick them back out the door they stepped through!"

Giving speeches was never her strong suit but they honoured her attempt with a loud, thunderous roar.

With a spinning gesture of her hand, her troops moved into position. Until everything began to unfold their orders were to hold this position and, if needed, play the role of reinforcements for her allies. However, she wanted to be out there taking the fight to the Sith. She had some scores to settle with that lot but now that she was a Jedi again, those dangerous thoughts held no place for her anymore and she quickly sent them to the deepest depths of her mind. She was all to familiar how the Sith could corrupt and pull your worst fears to the surface.

Calmly she withdrew her lightsaber, Redemption, from her belt holding it tight.

It would be the first time since the Battle of Kashyyyk that Darth Ayra showed her face among the One Sith; and her eyes were now set on the complex, the Galactic Republic and those that stood in the way of her work. Lightsaber in her hand, the Sith Lord entered the region of D6, the cowl of her robe raised over her head, concealing her facial features from view.

Eyes and heads turned when the snap-hiss of her weapon erupted from the cylinder hilt in her hand. An open declaration that war had come back to the Galactic Republic.

Travot felt his focus drift from the holo-projector in front of him.  Usually technical schematics interested him, especially when they were for the droids working on his beloved ship.  But something was off, a feeling tugging at the recesses of his mind, trying to draw his attention elsewhere.  He tried to fight it off, but it persisted, coming back even stronger than it was before.  Frowning, Travot stopped resisting, letting his mind wander off to his surroundings.  He felt the pulse of the electricity as it pumped through the facility that made thousands upon thousands of droids.  He felt the presence of the jedi and republic soldiers around him, waiting to move off to another campaign in the galactic south once they had their spare parts and replacement droids from their last engagement.

But Travot began to feel a new presence - no - a series of presences unlike ever he had ever encountered before.  The newcomers were not civilian traders, nor republic soldiers, nor workers, nor anyone who should be there.  While their presence did not seem right to the man, he did not know who they were.  He tried to think hard on what Master Daiman had said about sensing people through the Force, but could only recall a single cryptic quote he had said in the deepest part of a lecture on Force Sense: There are no uninteresting things, only uninterested people.

The building suddenly began to shake, and then the ground beneath them as the nearby defensive weapons began to fire on the approaching Teleute.  All around him, the marines he had been hanging around began to get up and snatch up their weapons.  Travot's eyes flashed open.

"Did you hear that?" said one of them, "we're firing on someone in orbit."

"We're still firing on them," corrected another soldier, "it's gotta be something big.  This can't be raid..."

"It's got to be the Sith," said the another.

The Sith?

Here?

Can't be...

Travot's hand dropped down to grasp the cold metal of his lightsaber as he unclipped it from his belt.  He grasped it tightly as he brought it up to his eyes.  How often have I trained for this, and suddenly it just happens out of the blue?  A storm of bewilderment, pride, and serenity washed over him as he came to grips with the idea of combating the oncoming Sith.  I've survived war in the past, I'll make it through here again.  As the men and women of the Galactic Republic Defense Forces readied themselves for combat, he closed his eyes as he began to recite the words his first master had said whenever they were about to enter a tough situation.

Emotion, yet peace.

Ignorance, yet knowledge.

Passion, yet serenity.

Chaos, yet harmony...

Mara Merrill, Queen of the Hyperlanes, niece of Rave, daughter of Alna and Jorus, student of Chloe Blake and Aleidis Ijet Zrgaat, loved cheap burgers with a fiery passion. One crumpled wrapper lay before her. The second burger was down to its last few bites when a hooded woman walked in and ignited a red lightsabre. Fear and adrenaline shivered through the aforementioned Spacelane Queen. Eyes fixed on Ayra, she chewed down the last vestige of the burger and licked her fingers, then wiped them on her tunic as she stood. Her lightsabre, a simple thing, snap-hissed to life, and silver light filled McYoda's. She sought for serenity and found only the beginnings of a cold clear focus.

"Kark off or die, schutta," she said around a mouthful of ground nerf and white bread. Somewhere back of the register, her second order was processing. Well, maybe not now... "You don't get to play Anakin until I get my milkshake."

What better place to tinker than a moon known for its droids?

Actually, Tacitanya had only come here because this was the destination of the ship she had surreptitiously stowed aboard. That was what one got for free room and passage. Not that she had stolen anything except a little purified air--like those freighter guys did not have enough already with all the merrymaking and cussing they partook in atop her dark little compartment. At least they had eventually gone to sleep a couple times and allowed the tyrian stowaway some shut-eye of her own.

But now she was here, scavenging for spare parts and now--apparently--preparing to defend against an incoming invasion. Great timing. With only her lightsaber and Whistleflute at her hips, she felt a little underprepared for an event of this magnitude. Sure, she had the Force on her side, but what was that against a potential army? The short twi'lek needed to grab her bearings very quickly and then get to a safe zone, out of this machine pit and into territory that was much less lonely.

An indistinct sort of 'signal' gargled about in her mind--a feeling she was starting to become accustomed to. There were other people in the area--people like her. Had they detected her as well? Just to be safe, Taci quelled her attachment to the Force and went completely numb of it, undetectable but certainly incapable of detecting others as well. She had a general idea of where to find them, however. Hopefully they were the good guys.

Lightfooted and covered in the shadows of assembly machinery, the greasy-faced former tapioca smuggler opened up the left of her cloak and fingered the grip of her pistol, peering into the bright hallway that joined her section with the western-most column of facilities. Was someone already there?

Hylo, son of Sirella Valkner, wasn’t sure what was going on. It was all… awkward. Who hang out at a meat shop. Then again he was told it wasn’t a meat shop but instead fast food. He’d examined the food and nothing about it was particularly fast. All he wanted was some of the shaked milk and a cheap processed meat patty with big kosher pickles and an onion. He was told it was great, and that the special sauce was worth its weight in spice. He didn’t really believe that last bit, but Mara had insisted it was true. “Mara,” he said tugging on her sleeve, “Is there a party going on?”

Scrunching his face he looked around the room as the woman entered and ignited her lightsaber. “My mother has a lightsaber like that. Pretty and red.” Hylo nodded without a single threat in the world Then Mara spoke, Kark off or die! Hylo’s mouth opened up in shock. “Mara, you’re going to make her angry!” By accident Hylo’s pheromones popped sending out a calming scent designed to attract. Stupid stupid stupid. Hylo dug through his pockets and found a few seeds holding them in his hands.

“A8? What does that even mean?” Phylis grumbled. She held up her map and tried to understand the labyrinthine series of tunnels and passages.

Things were confused. Apparently the Sith were invading and there were battles all through the facility.

“Hmmph, this is why I hate field trips,” she muttered.

And then, suddenly, a Sith Mon Cal! Well, that was curious. Phylis was indeed all for pacifism, but there were times one needed to stay the course.

“So…hmm…what brings you here?” she asked. Not exactly a rousing battlecry.

In contrast to the ravenous Mara, the girl who sat next to her picked at her burger with disinterest, and a tinge of worry that she couldn't place.Laura had a bad feeling about this Yoda Burger with Cheese and the accompanying french fries.Or maybe it wasn't the burger.A woman walked into the establishment and ignited a crimson-red lightsabre, the colour of blood.Definitely not the burger, then.Laura moved quickly, without thought.Fear did not grip her,Outside of the realm of social interaction, she was fearless. It was adrenaline that gripped her, a heightened sense of things. And then there was that sense of anticipation that her Dad had told her about. The Na'Varro brave ... the fact was, she wanted this badly.Wanted the challenge.

She was immediately at her friend's side, her meek, awkward disposition gone entirely. She stood confidently, jaw jutted forward and green eyes regarding the hooded woman with scrutiny. Her golden blade came alive in her hands, matching the light of Mara's silver, and her eyes narrowed into slits.Blade was held loosely by her side.Focus, clarity, and the Light Side of the Force dominated her mind. Those she felt in tune with readily ... perhaps it was the danger that brought those things to her, and the confidence to stand and be counted.

"Kark off or die, schutta," Mara said with her mouth full."You don't get to play Anakin until I get my milkshake."

Usually Laura would be shocked by Mara's choice of words, but not now.In fact, her friend was echoing her sentiments exactly.

“Mara, you’re going to make her angry!”That was some kid that Laura didn't know.He seemed pretty dense though.Clearly, they were in a dangerous situation, and the hooded woman wasn't friendly.

"Shut up."Laura said this with uncharacteristic forcefulness. She turned her attention back to the hooded lady."Anakin died in the end. You'll die in the beginning."

Stepping past Mara, her intent was clear. She'd take the brunt of the Sith's attacks, allowing her friends to do their thing while she was distracted.

Another invasion against the Republic. Darth Raven had started to find them a little drool. Often because whenever she was involved barley anything happened. She always wound up last to join in on the excitement or finding that the areas she chose were never as exciting as the others. Not that it mattered much to her. As long as she had found a place that would make for a nice relaxing afternoon once this was all over. And she knew it would end with the Sith having control of this planet. Why else would they bother to send in such a heavy force?

A shuttle had dropped down before 200 armed One Sith soldiers and droids hurried out. All were standard, nothing special. As they hurried out people began to panic and ran none of the soldiers taking any shots. They all awaited as the last figure, the Sith kight Darth Raven herself, exited the ship She was clam about it and didn't make much of a fuss. Her long black cloak was over her usual attire; a more high society and rich uniform and skirt. Her long black hair all nice and combed out while her steel blue eyes scanned about the place as she exited. Her soldiers still stood at the ready as she walked far enough out to survey the area.

A smaller section with enough people. Fine enough. Prisoners and casualties. But what about the buildings? There were usual stores and shops and so on. Nothing that she couldn't find on Courascant. All the more she though how droll this was going to be. If anything she'd find a restaurant, take the staff hostage, and have them make her a meal if it meant having any sort of fun. But then her eyes caught something. A library? Still intact?

With a grin she ordered "Alright men. Spread out. Find anyone and everyone. Bring the back alive if you can. Otherwise don't bother. But keep that library secure. I have a bit of reading to do."

As the soldiers and droids marched off, starting to fire at people, Raven only hummed to herself while casually walking to the library to hopefully enjoy some reading during this entire commotion of an invasion.

Objective:  Call the kiddos to come to the ship!

Kira Liadain, Jedi Master and Lorrdian mother of four -- was not having a good day.

Not only did fuel prices jump by two credits a liter, but now she had the family protocol droid at her heels asking questions she couldn't quite answer.

"Excuse me Master, but might I inquire as to what is going on?"  the sound of small beeps and boops would follow the protocol droid's waddle, the family astromech droid rolling along beside  C4-R1.

"Working on it, bud," Kira would say,  running up into the cockpit to sling herself down on the chair.  Normally they'd have F3-LX on the reins, but Kira was a well versed pilot.  She may not be Master Merrill's caliber, but she could hold her own without crashing.  Average is as average does.

Already the alarms for the Republic moon of Telti throughout the complex were wailing. A shiver of dread would roll down Kira's spine,  that level of forebearing rising to lift the tiny hairs at the back of her neck.

WARNING, ALL REPUBLIC CIVILIANS TO MOVE TO SECURED REPUBLIC FACILITIES.

A sucking of her breath came at that.  Okay, yeah NOT good.  Spinning on her chair,  Kira would turn to the comm array.  Her hand went reaching out,  taking hold of a small black box, pulling the speaker from it's cradle. Her thumb would depress the broadcast after flipping the toggle on.

[ Aela? Honey - ]  her voice would crackle to her eldest daughter. [ I need you to get everyone back to the ship, now!]

"Ohhh sh-" whatever curse Micah said was quickly drowned out by the snap hiss of sabers.  This.. This was not good. So not good at all.  His eyes grew wide and a half eaten fried chip would hang limply from his lips.

It fell to the ground a second later as he shot to his feet.

"Kai, go to Aela."  he told his youngest sister,  deep brow furrowing as the pre-teen went for his hip.  The Byrak wood saber hilt would echo that of Mara's and Laura's,  it's bright orange hue matching the twin suns of his eyes.  Good thing Hylocereus was here; well until he felt the attracting pheromones start wafting from him.

Wait.. what?  He shook his head, trying to focus.  Why did Hylo suddenly seem a bit more pretty? No wait FOCUS!  His gaze went to the sith,  and he took position beside Mara and Laura.

"I guess we are beyond attempting a parlay?"  he'd start out, half amused and half trying to struggle through Hylo's pheromones and that sense of forbearing.

Oh this outta be good.

Objective: Bring Peace.

Allies: The Galactic Republic and Jedi.

Enemies: Those nice guys in black. (Darth Raven)

Haytham had left the McYodas almost an hour ago. A decent meal he supposed for his first time there, and currently he was waiting for his transport to take him back to one of the Jedi Academies. After exploring the Galaxy solo for a bit, despite it being against the Temple Rules for Padawan's to leave alone, Haytham had made sure to document when the next Jedi transport was passing through this sector, and he had soon determined that it belonged to the group of Jedi located within the McYodas. But he had soon disregarded asking for admittance. They seemed quite... Familiar with each other, not to mention some of them had familiar feelings to each other.

I'd hate to intrude on a family outing. He remembered thinking to himself.

His Dark Bown outer robe concealed his two lightsabres, but suddenly, he felt as if he'd need it.

One moment there was peace and quiet, the next there were alarms, people running around, and then he felt it.

It was so sudden. It was like an explosion of brightness, but instead of that, it was darkness. Turning his bright outlook on the location, to a grim one. It was the Dark Side of the Force, and Haytham knew, that the Sith had arrived.

He saw Republic Soldiers run in one direction, and he heard the blaster fire coming from there.

He heard it in every direction actually, and when he spent a moment on trying to find all of the Dark Siders in the facility, he felt them all over the place. All around him. The Sith were probably entering at every possible entrance, and Haytham shook his head, wondering as to how this had happened in such a way.

But instead of wondering, Haytham moved. He moved towards the archway that would bring him to the D3 Grid, right behind the Republic Soldiers, and he drew his lightsabre hilt off of his belt. The closest Sith was in this directi- A blaster bolt splashed over the wall beside his head, he hadn't even realized he had already passed the archway and was standing in an open doorway, and towards grids D2 and E-2, there were Sith Soldiers. He grabbed the closest rifle, tucked and rolled into a corner behind some boxes, and as he looked over them, saw a Sith, Darth Raven moving down a hallway.

As he mustered the necessary power for his limited capabilities with force sight, he knew that that was the Sith he sensed. So he lunged over the box, and for whatever reason, Haytham practically broadcasted his presence to the female Sith Knight through the Force, and to him, he thought the sound of his azure lightsabre igniting, should be enough of an attraction to Raven to acknowledge him as he charged her.

Location: D3 (Not commanded by Haytham, just in the general area.)

Forces: 100 Standard Republic Soldiers.

Opponents: One Sith.

“Mother?” Aela called out as the communicator buzzed in her bag. She pulled it out and caught the tail end of what Kira said. Her face becoming perplexed as she looked out above her book. Her eyes widened, and she let out a small gasp in shock

Aela was out of her seat as soon as she heard the ignition of the first lightsaber.

Her book was thrown onto the table, her body shot over any obstacles, and within an instant the fifteen year old stood behind the three younger(?) children, all with their lightsabers already ignited. Her own was in her hand, her bright orange eyes staring directly at Sith woman that had walked through the doors.

An arm reached out, and Aela grasped Kaili Talith pulling her back and behind herself. Her eyes shot towards the three younger children, then towards the others. She counted in her head. Seven of them, one Sith.

Those were good odds at the very least.

Her hand tightened on her own lightsaber, and she reached a cautious hand to touch Micah's shoulder, gently holding back her brother and whispering to the others. “All at once, or not at all.”

It was a silent plea, not a command. One by one they stood no chance, she could tell from the woman's confidence, demeanor, stance. She thought this would be like leading lambs to the slaughter.

She was wrong.
