Name: Pynewood Estate
Location: Naboo, Theed countryside
Affiliation: Jamie Pyne & Pyne Family
Description: Pynewood Estate is one of many noble family estates situated near the heart of Naboo's city of Theed. Sitting high on a countryside hill to the southwest of the city, the estate has been home to the Pyne family for generations, dating back to the Clone Wars era. The family has, and currently serves as dignitaries of the royal court as well as foreign ambassadors to neighboring planets. Jamie's mother and father are most known for their work as relief-aide emissaries to impoverished worlds and those plagued by disease, famine, or war. The estate is home to not only the Pyne family, but also to their plethora of servants.
Though not quite rivaling the royal palace itself in terms of luxury and flare, it does challenge it in terms of size and span. With sixty-two bedrooms, four massive kitchens, five dining halls, a banquet and ballroom, twenty seven bathrooms, twelve common areas and sixteen activity rooms, there is adequate space for all, including guests, with plenty of distractions from the daily grind of life.
A large flower garden encompasses the estate, with pathways that split in and around the home, all leading back to the central courtyard that includes a beautiful fountain. To the rear of the estate is where guests will find the enormous swimming pool, complete with statuesque decor, floral arrangements, and a perfect view of the sunset at dusk.
History: The estate was first constructed by one of the Pyne family's ancestors dozens of generations ago. Though its' present day state only roughly reflects the original designs, the central chambers and overall aesthetic of the structure has stood the test of time. Dozens of features have since been added to modernize the estate, with each new generation of the family contributing their own unique tastes. The home was partially destroyed during the war between the Republic and the Separatists. Archived records notate that due to the location of the homestead, its' size and relative importance to the invading army, the estate was temporarily seized from the hands of the noble family until Naboo was liberated during one of the earliest battles of the war. Since then the house has continued to be overseen by members of the noble family. The home has become a common locale for tourists in recent years, hosting government members of foreign worlds and other prominent figures seeking business with the palace.
Intent: To create a bit of background details for Jamie's family history, and the importance of the planet Naboo to her personally. This will also serve as her primary residence. Should her family for whatever reason die, she will inherit the property.
