#1751350 All Aboard! - The SJO Dom of the Ceraluen Hex

Posted by Allyson Locke on 16 March 2018 - 04:55 AM

Objective: Cruise

Location: Arcade

Allyson wondered why Kaili was so glued to her, it was as if she wanted the entire boat to know that she was taken. The action was of course endearing and the Corellian didn’t fight it. It was a rare opportunity for them to just relax, even on their last vacation the SIS and the GA decided to ruin it. Looking around, Allyson wondered if there was a place she could get some food into the drunk blonde. She should have kept an eye on her, but they were on vacation.

Attention returned to Kaili as she began to respond to the comment about her cheating. Happily, amused, Allyson folded her arms and nodded with everything Kaili was saying. Fighting a laugh, Allyson nodded. Kaili didn’t realize that her rules were the same as the ones Allyson had put up – just they were Kaili’s rules and not Allyson’s.

“Fine fine, if you cheat I’ll sleep in the bed, and if you don’t cheat I’ll sleep in the bed. We will play by your rules today – because I’m not a chicken.” Grabbing Kaili she pulled her close and grinned. “You’re a porg and I will destroy you – like I usually do.” Letting the girl go she grasped her hand and entered the area where the arcade was located. “Pick a game – any game and I’ll beat you at it Kaili Talith even if you do cheat.”

Allyson fought back a laugh as she listened to Kaili. The woman obviously didn’t realize what she was saying and it was a reason why Allyson adored the blonde. Comments like this were reminders of where Kaili had started from when they had first met. The mousey blonde that had no desire to venture out into the real world – she would have rather be buried under her work than experience life. Remembering simple times like that usually brought a wide smile to the Corellian.

“You’re light though and it would be good strength recovery for me. I don’t want to become weak you know.” Not wanting to argue the point, Ally looked towards the road that lead to the small town she grew up in. It was negligible compared to the large city, but her home town was still big enough to have hotels and restaurants. “As for me being hurt, I’ve come a long way so if I want to give you a piggy back ride you’re going to accept it.” Allyson smiled as she grabbed Kaili’s hand and they headed towards the small town.

“And I’m sure you’ll ride me later, especially when you’re wearing a dress like that” Grinning, Allyson made a point to show Kay what she had said. The walk wasn’t too long and they arrived. Looking around Allyson was surprised that it looked just like she had left it. The builders seemed to not want to take advantage and remodel the place. A part of her was happy as she sighed softly. “This is where I grew up, I went to elementary school and junior high here – after that my father had me transferred to the high school in the city, but let’s say I had other plans.” Another grin as she remembered the day she cut class to stowaway on Ember’s ship.

Wandering a bit more, Allyson found a small inn that was attached to a small restaurant. “They serve pretty casual Corellian cuisine here also we can share this room tonight and head back on the bus tomorrow morning or something. Sound good?”

Allyson chuckled, she was under the impression that Kaili had planned the entire trip out. Though, she really wasn’t all that surprised when the blonde stated that she didn’t have any sort of plan besides visiting the cemetery.  A sigh and Allyson grabbed the girl by her waist and pulled her close into a hug. She held her there for a moment while her hands carefully ran up and down the other woman’s back. Kaili was her rock and she wondered at times if their codependency was dangerous. Her mind wandered to the threat Carnifex presented, Allyson was already overprotective and now she was only going to become more protective.

Pulling away, Allyson looked at her watch and sighed. “We would have to head back to the city to see more of the typical sights. We can head back out this way to see where I grew up.” Looking up and down the road, she had a feeling that the busses had stopped for the time being. Looking towards Kaili she chuckled. “You have two options. We could walk that way towards the small outskirt town where I grew up is – or I give you a piggy back ride back to the city and we can check stuff out there.”

Either way, Allyson knew that Kaili was getting a piggy back of sorts. They were in the middle of both the town and the city. It was the drag of living so far from the city and she remembered when she was younger especially a couple of years before she snuck onto Ember’s, how she wanted to see more of the city and the galaxy. She smiled, “You’re getting a piggy back either way, so you better be ready for it.”

Objective: Destroy Kaili at Video games

Allyson had known about the cruise through the Silver Jedi. She had been making trips to Kashyyyk for their Jedi healing along with some help with physical therapy. There was only so much modern medicine could do for her. Finally feeling like she had regained control of most of her nerves and body, she thought the cruise would be a good excuse to have fun and celebrate. It was something she had grown aware of, almost dying twice does that to you. She needed to appreciate what she had even though most of her time was trying to save it.

As a man passed them and retrieved the bottle from Kaili, Allyson couldn’t help but laugh. She should have warned the girl about the designated areas, but seeing Kay’s reaction to something like this was far too priceless. Hugging the blonde, she gave a kiss on the cheek and continued to laugh. “That was too good, your face was perfect.” Her hand raised and a small comm showed up and flashed, Kaili’s surprised face was now etched into data and Allyson showed her the photo. “See? Perfect.”

The small interaction was interrupted as Kaili stopped. Looking at the room they were about to enter, Allyson smiled. Kaili Talith was the queen of temper and competitiveness, Allyson remembered fondly being thrown into a tree because she almost beat Kaili in a race. Fond memories, right? Shaking her head, Allyson grabbed the blond by the waist and pulled her. “Oh, come on, it’s not going to be that bad. Just relax and have fun okay?”

A grin as she looked back at her lover, “I say this because you know that you can’t beat me. Oh!” Remembering how they were both rather ‘skilled’ with mecha-deru, Allyson gave Kaili a stern look. “No cheating what so ever. If you cheat – you’re sleeping in the tub.”

Allyson appreciated the words and the concern from Kaili. She knew she couldn't live through that again. Her family was already gone and all she had was Kaili. The thought of losing the blonde was something she hated to think about, but it was a very real possibility. Standing on the road, Allyson softly kissed the Borleian back. One of her most darkest moments of her past was finally revealed and she felt a weight off her shoulders.

“I love you, you know that.” A smile and a slight shake of her head. “We can handle the headstones later. I don't want to think about this place for a few days.” Looking back, Allyson somewhat liked the makeshift work, but respectfully she should have a proper one made.

“Let's go somewhere fun, you had the day planned out didn't you?” Allyson kept her arm wrapped around Kaili's waist as she kept the girl protectively close to her. She didn't fully trust the planet just yet, there could be vong still lurking - even a Sith or two.

#1747136 More Than a Memory

Allyson splashed the water with frustration, she felt like she wasn't getting anywhere and with what she had done she should be good. Looking over at Jyoti, the Corellian tried to smile knowing that the Echani was trying to encourage her. Her body was sore and the compression of the wetsuit she was wearing was tight.

A hand brushed her brunette hair from her face as she tried her best to refocus. “Gotta give me some leeway Jedi. I just finished healing…” Despite her achy pain, Allyson waited and when she was told, she used the buoy to push off. She put everything she had into the last attempt. Allyson needed to make that 2.10 time. If she didn't she knew she wouldn't leave the water.

Her body strained, but she continued to push it beyond what it wanted to do. Hitting the second buoy she popped up and headed to the shore. A water bottle and a snack bar was waiting for her with a towel. Drinking the water first she looked towards the Echani, a smirk spread on her face as she was confident she did better than the 2.10.

“How was it?” Pulling her hair from the braid, her fingers unwrapped her hair and quickly used the towel to dry off.

Allyson held the lovely gift in her hands. The device soon moved up the ladder as one of her most prized possessions. A hand moved behind her head as she smiled. “We came and did what I needed to do. I'd like to get them actual headstones before we leave though.” Allyson looked towards the headstones she had made after she had buried them. Pausing, she knew Kaili really didn't know the history of this place.

“When the Sith and the Vong hit Planetside. They killed everyone who didn't comply, my father's work was ground zero for one of their weapons. The apartment was destroyed by sith spawn. When I was working my way through the wreckage it seems like my mother had locked her and by brother from the sith spawns.” Allyson paused and sighed heavily. “Uh the other bodies...you couldn't even recognize what was what.”

Frowning Allyson continued her story, explaining about how the wreckage of the apartment building was like. “Everyone was thrown into a mass grave or burned. My mother and brother, I put them on a wood cart and walked them here - a place where our family was buried for years. My mother would have wanted it.”

The cart that she had carried her family on was off in the corner of the cemetery rotting away from time. “I walked them the entire way we rode on the bus. My hands blistered and were already bleeding. I dug my mother and brother from the building, I carried them to the countryside, then I dug their graves, along with about have the graves of this cemetery. It has seemed like a Sith had raised them to fight.” Shaking her head she tried to push the memories of the half decayed bodies. A hand covered her face as she inhaled deeply the exhaled. It was starting to be too much being here. Grabbing Kaili's hand she gave it a squeeze.

“I want to leave now, it's just too much now. You're the first person I've told all of that too. It's how I earned my second class bloodstripes. It's why they were so important to me. Corellia was gone, my family was gone - it was all I had…”

Allyson was pulled into the hug, she didn’t know what else to do but cry. Everything and everyone she had lost was suddenly remembered and her emotions were starting to get out of hand. She clutched Kaili tightly as she sobbed, tears were no longer available as she broken down into dry sobs. Her family, some of her squad mates, Ember, Alec, Arisa, and the list continued as she remembered them. Crying wasn’t going to do her any good and Kaili wanted to see Corellia.

Allyson pulled away and ran her hands over her eyes as she tried to dry the tears that were staining her face. Inhaling deeply, she shook her head and tried to regain whatever composure she still had. The day was still very young and she couldn’t spend it here with Kaili. Looking over at her, she smiled. “Kaili, you’re going to get your dress dirty.” Standing, Allyson pulled Kaili up and pulled her back into a hug. “Thank you I…” The hug remained tight as Allyson held onto the device that Kaili had given her. “I wouldn’t have been able to do anything without you.”

Releasing the hug once more, Allyson sighed softly and wiped her eyes again. “This thing is incredible. How did you?”
