DESCRIPTION

Designed primarily as a compact grappling hook and line, the Cisna embodies one of Tenloss’ nearest and dearest concepts: what if we put guns on it?

The Cisna features a single, wide blast cryoban blaster that sports enough charge for one shot and a pair of wrist rockets capable of taking out vehicles, defenses, clusters of enemy troops, and the occasional chasing police speeder. Simple strap the wrist attachment on and it's as easy as pointing and shooting. The bladed grappling hook is also externally mounted, which makes the Cisna an okay tool for the odd swing in melee or to help keep assets and underlings in line in a pinch.

Unfortunately, the weapon has a low ammo count and an even slower reload time making it less than ideal as a primary or even secondary weapon. As a support weapon and utility tool, or to just look like a your a professional thug with a little cash to throw around, the Cisna is the perfect item to compliment any choice of thug or gang oriented attire!

  • Ion/EMP damage to vehicle can and often does cause neuroelectrical feedback to users nervous system with pain/damage depending on strength/consistency of feedback.

  • Only compatible with computer and vehicle systems specially designed to function with implant.

  • Incompatible with non-humans

DESCRIPTION

A new take on vehicular control, the Kochen-B is the second part of a series of specialized implants designed to function with new Tenloss vehicles planned for release. The Kochen-B is an exceedingly complex implanted device with an exceptionally simple job: to work in conjunction with specialized sensors mounted on the user’s vehicle to grant the user a greater sense of their vehicle’s physical placement.

The device, much like the A-series of the Kochen implants, requires extensive surgical implantation. Anchored to the spine, the device features a massive array of monomolecular filaments designed to integrate with the recipient’s spinal column. These filament bundles are then connected to connector cores installed directly into the recipient’s vertebrae which are, when in use, directly connected to the compatible vehicle. The device is designed solely as an output only system, though EMP/Ion damage to the vehicle, or to the device itself, can cause neuroelectrical feedback. The pain/damage of this feedback is directly relative to the power/consistency of the attack itself.

The Kochen-B is only compatible with vehicles designed to function with the implant itself. In addition, the implant is only available for human and near human use.

  • Ion/EMP damage to vehicle can and often does cause neuroelectrical feedback to users nervous system with pain/damage depending on strength/consistency of feedback.
  • Only compatible with computer and vehicle systems specially designed to function with implant.
  • Incompatible with non-humans

DESCRIPTION

The Kochen-A implantation is a new field for Tenloss and its subsidiaries as it shifts industrial focus with the ever-changing galaxy. Designed for a more streamlined connection between vehicle and operator, the Kochen implant allows the user to view, comprehend, and output commands without the need for a HUD or HUD analogue. The implant also allows a user competent and trained with the device to increase reaction time as the vehicle’s pilot by utilizing specialized and advanced microprocessors incorporated into the device.

Unfortunately, the device is sensitive to EMP/Ion damage both directly and indirectly. Direct damage to the device or user can cause pain and physical damage relative to the strength or consistency of the electrical attack. In addition, electrical damage to the vehicle such as direct impact with ion/EMP attacks as well as electrical feedback from typical damage that severs or overloads vehicle power plants can also cause painful neuroelectrical damage to the user.

The implant requires a basic surgical procedure to mount the device within the cranial cavity of the recipient* as well as the removal and replacement of the recipient’s dominant eye. Once implanted, the Kochen-A can show an internalized HUD over the user’s vision without the need for any kind of projection. In addition, the device features an external port at the rear base of the skull, just above the neck, for connection purposes with any compatible vehicle**.

*The Kochen-A implant is only available for humans and near-humans at this time***.
**The Kochen-A implant is only compatible with vehicles designed to connect to the implant itself and cannot be connected to any vehicle that is not designed for the implant**.
***Tenloss is not responsible for any injury, maiming, death, or neuroelectrical lobotomization caused by the incorrect usage or implantation of the Kochen-A Implant.

#1797583 Questionable Business Partners

Posted by Popo on 31 May 2018 - 12:27 AM

As the two representatives moved through the station, holocameras followed them. With the repairs, refits, and personnel shortages running rampant after the attack, Wheel Security hadn't had the men or time to meet them at the hangars per usual protocol. Thankfully, a short, yet stern word from Popo quickly started to rectify the issue. Rather than meet in a casino sporting some level of damage or inconvenience, the Hutt had his troops catch up to the pair to reroute them.

"Ma'am. Sir," the Security Sergeant stated as the small escort detail caught up with the two. They were armed and armored, a usual sight on the space station, though a few sported freshly repaired damage to body armor here and there. Telltale reminders of the fighting throughout the facility not long before.

"If you could follow us, please," he stated politely, less a question and more a statement of fact. "We're to take you to the central spire. Your meeting was redirected to the executive suite."

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

Intent: to create an effective and unique sidearm to use as a “standard issue” weapon for the Tenloss Syndicate and to sell on a closed market.
Canon Link: N/A
Restricted Missions: N/A
Primary Source: N/A

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

Manufacturer: Tenloss Corporation
Model: Bkaua
Affiliation: Tenloss Corporation, Tenloss Syndicate, closed market
Modularity: None outside aesthetic upgrades and things like sights, attachments, grips, etc.
Production: Mass Production
Material: Alusteel, Duraplast, Thermal Gel, additional weapon construction components

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Classification: Energy/Thermal Weapon
Size: average pistol size
Weight: Average pistol weight
Ammunition Type: power pack
Ammunition Capacity: 5 shots
Reload Speed: Average

Effective Range: Personal
Rate of Fire: Average (semi automatic only)
Stopping Power: Very High
Recoil: Average

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Thermal Weapon

  • Rugged and reliable

  • Cone of energy

Strengths:

  • BBQ - the Bkaua fires a cone of thermal energy at the user’s target that reaches extreme high heat temperatures capable of cooking targets in their armor at close ranges. Temperatures generated by the weapon are exceptionally high which allows the pistol to superheat, melt, or even outright burn through various armor types.

  • Stay Down - a side effect of the thermal discharge is the sudden and forceful knockdown the wall of superheated air generates. Targets that survive are often sent to the floor or staggering away from the discharged blast.

  • Like a Thousand Burning Suns - The weapon has seen good results on standard armor types, but has seen mixed results against more exotic materials. Damage to targets protected by such varies depending on range, material type, target density, etc.

  • You and Your Buddy - the weapon fires in a conical manner with the blast of thermal energy, making the weapon ideal for close ranges and lethal crowd control.

Weaknesses:

  • Dispersal - while effective in range to most short range pistol equivalents, the Bkaua does have a drawback. The heat blast, while extreme in temperature and possessing a decent area of effect, loses intensity the further from the weapon the blast carries. This means that the shot is the most powerful nearly point blank and loses strength the further from the user the blast carries until it disperses completely.

  • Not Hot Enough? - While the Bkaua fared well in testing, variable effectiveness was seen in tests against rare materials. Damage potential in such tests depended upon various factors such as range, material, target density, etc.

  • Hot Contraband - the Bkaua caused quite a stir when revealed before quickly earning itself a nasty, lingering reputation. As a result, ost sectors of the Galaxy have banned the weapon making it entirely illegal to own. To carry a Bkaua is to invite unwanted and potentially dangerous attention from authorities and undesirables alike. As such, the weapon is primarily utilized by the criminal underworld, collectors, and those that operate beyond “civilized" borders.

DESCRIPTION

With the need for more current lethal weaponry rising, Tenloss determined to answer the call as it enters its new era of production. The result for a powerful, unique, and dangerous sidearm was the Bkaua.

Designed as a thermal energy weapon, the Bkaua lives up to it's name. Capable of firing a cone of intense heat intended to cook targets alive in their armor, the pistol easily earns its rightful place in the Tenloss armory. The weapon is relatively short ranged and fires a conical blast of extremely high temperatures at the target. Each blast is capable of superheating, melting, or outright burning through targeted material. Even if it doesn't burn through the target's armor, the wall of  superheated air can send surviving targets to the ground or staggering away. Sadly energy dispersal renders weapon weak at longer ranges, but at close range the Bkaua is truly lethal. Against non-standard, exotic materials, the Bkaua has shown variable effectiveness depending on basic factors such as range, material, target density, etc. Unfortunately, the weapon was quickly restricted in most sectors of the Galaxy soon after it's reveal. As such the weapon is highly illegal throughout civilized space. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the weapon found a use within the galactic underworld, among collectors, and with those that seldom trek from lawless stars.

#1791583 Setcheha Rifle

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

Intent: to create a unique weapon for use as a “standard issue” weapon of the Tenloss Syndicate and for controlled sale.
Canon Link: N/A
Restricted Missions: N/A
Primary Source: N/A

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

Manufacturer: Tenloss Corporation
Model: Setcheha
Affiliation: Tenloss Corporation, Tenloss Syndicate, Closed Market
Modularity: Only aesthetics upgrades and basic modifications such as scopes, sights, and attachments.
Production: Mass Production

Material: Alusteel, durasteel, electronic components, and typical weapon construction materials.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Classification: Railgun/Disruptor hybrid
Size:  Average
Weight: Average
Ammunition Type: 60 rail slugs, 30 power pack shots
Reload Speed: Average

Effective Range: Average
Rate of Fire: Average
Stopping Power: Very High
Recoil: High

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Three Round Burst Only

  • Disruptor penetration power

  • Railgun impact power

  • Illegal in most sectors of the galaxy

Strengths:

  • Shock and Awe - The Setcheha is designed primarily for knockdown power and armor penetration featuring a meshing of Railgun and disruptor technology. When fired, the weapon discharges a slug-bolt-slug burst of fire designed to weaken, damage, and penetrate even the toughest armor.

  • Simple, Easy to Remember - True to typical Tenloss products, the Setcheha is designed for ease of use and maintenance at the loss of extra bells and whistles many companies consider standard.

  • Can Opener - Designed to crack tough armor and shred light protection, the weapon has seen a variable performance on penetrating rarer, more exotic materials depending on angle, range, density, and other factors.

Weaknesses:

  • Burst Fire - The Setcheha fires only in burst mode to maximize the penetration power of the weapon rather than emphasize rate of fire like most equivalent weapons. This means that the weapon does not feature a semi or fully automatic setting and cannot be modified to do so.

  • Gun Control - Deemed illegal in most sectors across the Galaxy, the weapon is hard to come by via legal means and most law enforcement or security equivalents are quick to spot the contraband rifle. Collectors and criminals beware as usually the sheer sight of the Setcheha is enough to draw a great deal of unwanted, and usually dangerous, attention.

  • It Bounced? - While designed to punch holes in tough armor, the Setcheha has shown variable performance against more exotic materials. Penetration and failure to penetrate depends on a variety of factors such as range, angle, target density, and more.

DESCRIPTION

Designed as a new era of weaponry in a far more dangerous era, the Setcheha is Tenloss’ newest addition to it's arsenal.

Essentially a burst fire Railgun/Disruptor hybrid rifle, the Setcheha operates on a two barrel, burst fire system. Each pull of the trigger fires a series of projectiles in a slug-bolt-slug sequence. The initial slug is designed to weaken the target at the point of impact while the subsequent disruptor bolt attempts to pierce the weakened area. The final slug impacts the damaged area and, in theory, punches through to cause large amounts of damage to the target. The weapon performed well at trials and saw a variety of effects against rare materials dependent entirely on the situational case of each item. The weapon fires only in three round bursts designed to maximize the Setcheha's penetration power and cannot be modified to fire semi or fully automatically. The weapon follows Tenloss’ usual tradition of simple and easy use and maintenance, though due to the weapon's design and the usual legalities surrounding Disruptor technology, the weapon was quickly banned in most galactic sectors making the rifle more a choice for die hard collectors, criminals, and any who live beyond the borders of the usual law and order.

#1790816 You Must Construct Additional Pylons (Danger Arceneau)

Posted by Popo on 22 May 2018 - 01:40 PM

He'd not called in a long time. At least, by her point of view, he was sure. Years, probably, though for Popo years weren't that long. He'd plenty to spare, at least. Unfortunately, human women were odd when it came to that sort of thing. Granted, it was always business between them, though the Force only knew there was once a time he'd have forcibly grown legs to chase the red head across the galaxy and back if he could.

As the line dialed, he sat back and pondered. He needed materials and supplies to make ends meet. Not just for him, but for others. He'd be fine, if only a bit lighter in the pocket, but the survivors on his station needed quite a bit. Rations, water... Everything from foodstuffs to toilet paper until proper supply lines could be re-established and reliable power set back into place. And that was just the basics. He also needed medical supplies and basic repair materials. Holes needed to be patched, wiring redone, plus the equipment to boot. Tenloss had some, of course, but it was spread out and used in portions, not as a whole. Thankfully, he knew Danger dealt in that sort of thing in bulk. She shifted goods and materials across the galaxy in numbers that would make a logistics officer's head spin off his shoulders at a glance.

He also knew that she shifted it across his own supply lines and that of the Wheel's, which made the choice exceptionally simple. Hopefully, she was up to the task. Hopefully, so was his wallet. As the commlink connected, he cleared his throat and attempted to sound less weary than he actually was. With luck, it would actually work.

"Hello, Mrs. Arceneau," the Hutt's deep voice rumbled. "This is Popo."

#1790111 Fixing a Flat (Simone)

Posted by Popo on 21 May 2018 - 03:07 PM

The death toll rose ever higher as the hours ticked by. The numbers of dead and wounded and outright devastation of his home pained him, forcing memories of similar times from the past to rise up in his mind more frequently than ever. All in all, however pyrrhic the day had been, all things would pass. Homes could be rebuilt. Businesses restored. Reputations returned. He and the Wheel would heal, it would just take time. Thankfully, time was something every Hutt had plenty to spare, even at his age.

The fighting had shown a few glaring weaknesses that needed to be rectified. Men, materials, and more, but what could be fixed now wasn't physical, but rather digital. The virus and other things had absolutely ripped apart the station's computer defense system. They'd done what they could, but the system was old and, aside from one or two upgrades here and there to keep it current, it couldn't withstand all that had been done to it. So, while lengthy repairs and damage control went on its usual course, the Hutt had determined it was time to build a proper, professional cyber defense system. Hopefully, the selected individual could do that and, if they could, wouldn't turn on him down the line.

The joys of employing freelance work.

"The database should still be accessible, Ms. Simone," he stated over the commlink from his location within the station itself. "Probably not remotely, but you should be able to hardline into the servers directly without issue. They should be intact, though exactly how intact... I have no idea at this point."

SETTING INFORMATION

Space Station Name: The Wheel
Station Model: Space Station (Canon Classification)
Classification: Merchant, Tourism, Naval Hub, Waystation, Gambling, etc.
Location: Besh Gorgon System/The Wheel System
Affiliation: The Wheel/Itself | House Vizsla, LLC. | Tenloss Corporation uses the station as a company Headquarters.

Population: Heavily Populated
Demographics: A fair, fluctuating mixture of species.
Accessibility: Its very easy to find the Wheel as it sits on a hyperlane and is considered one of the prime spots for vacationing and gambling. Access is public to the tourism and residential areas of the station, though some areas are private access only (executive tower, etc.)
Description: The Wheel is first and foremost a tourist destination designed with gambling and excess in mind. Filled with casinos, shops, and restaurants the space station is the must visit location in the galaxy for those looking for a good time well spent. Located directly on a hyperspace lane, the station is easily accessable for those traveling through the region and offers everything from hotels to theater shows and much, much more. The station is managed by Popo, assigned to the position in the past from elements of the old Sith Empire, and it is the headquarters of Popo's company, Tenloss. Both the Hutt and the corporation have an inextricable presence on the space station after decades of time running the Wheel with many more to come.

POINTS OF INTEREST

  • “Up Town” - Called as such by visitors and residents alike for its high end casinos and attractions, this sector of the Wheel is the most advertised and visited. Gaudy lights, flashy signs, and a myriad of fancy locations give Up Town its allure. The sector is the ‘wealthiest’ on the Wheel and easily attracts the rich and well-to-do elite of the galaxy, as its supposed to. Taxes here are high and while the area is trafficked heavily, only those with money to blow truly gamble here, though if you ask most on the Wheel, it's the affordably priced shows that are really worth it.
  • “Mid Town” - The middle ground between wealth and destitution, the aptly named Mid Town is where the majority of tourists wind up. Here, the costs are far lower than the pricier Up Town and while the shows are fewer and less glamorous, the casinos are far more affordable. Mid Town sees the most traffic on the Wheel, but is also sometimes considered the key revenue source in some ways for the space station.
  • “Down Town” - Dingy and seedy, the cheapest gambling area on the station is dubbed Down Town. Here the attractions are few and far between with those that can be found often considered lackluster at best. The gambling and casinos are cheap, but for the most part the only reason to frequent the area is for dirt cheap rooms to rent or to pawn a personal item or two at one of the many shops located here.
  • Residential - The residential section is as it sounds: purely for those who live and work full time on the Wheel. Neither superbly cushy nor spartan in its appearance, the sector is comparable to most mid-level suburbian-esque habitation sections on most space stations.
  • Industrial - Less designated for industry, though some manufacturing does occur here, the section is primarily utilized for corporation holdings, shopfronts, and warehouses. Tenloss is Headquartered in this section and many other companies have had or currently have space rented in this sector of the Wheel.
  • Security - One part barracks, one part defendable hardpoint, the Security section of the station is where Wheel Security and Tenloss Security troops are located. The location houses both security officers and weaponry, including a few motor pools filled with a variety of vehicles. In addition, the sector contains a few hangar bays fitted for defense fighter craft as well as a location for repair/refit of other, larger defense ships. The location has its own, separate transportation hub deliberately disconnected from the general public transport hub and a number of holding cells for criminals. The sector is heavily guarded and it is extremely difficult to get into, or out of, the location.
  • Arena - The arena is located in its own area of the Wheel and is where scheduled gladiatorial matches occur. For more details, click here!
  • Executive Tower - The main spire of the Wheel itself, the Tower is often referred to as the Nerve Center of the Wheel. Heavily guarded and closed off from all but Tenloss or Wheel personnel, the spire is where the director, Popo, resides as well as where the main reactor battery is located. In addition, the Tower holds control of the station's vast array of segmented computer systems and weapon control. HWK-I is located within the many databanks of the spire and the structure itself can be sealed off from the main hub in an emergency.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Owned by various individuals and groups in the past, the Wheel was assigned by Popo the Hutt by the old Sith Empire soon after his rise to power within Tenloss. Since his appointment as the station's director, the station has lived up to its name as a star-borne casino hub, but also quickly became the Tenloss Corporation's primary headquarters, earning Popo and Tenloss an inextricable and irreplacable presence upon the space station in the passing years. Law on the Wheel follows Popo's fair, though harsh rules, despite the system changing hands between major factions of the galaxy. The Wheel has, under Popo's hand, remained sovereign even when battle rages throughout the system itself. Due to this, the station and immediate area around it has become a form of demilitarized zone and while factions can easily determine who enters and exits the system itself, most, if not all, treaties with the Wheel denote that barring any from entering the space station with peaceful intentions in mind becomes illegal, for all must be able to enjoy all the Wheel has to offer.

The station is massive on most accounts and guarded by Popo's Wheel Security reinforced by his own Tenloss Security officers. Outfitted with the best equipment Tenloss has to offer, the Wheel Security rarely encounters situations that get out of hand. In such an event, however, tools such as the HWK-I Facial Recognition System, combat droids, and supporting elements from Tenloss easily bring the situation under control. There is no station AI at the current time, leaving much of the station's computer regulations in the hands of a team of technicians located within the spire and heavily guarded. Outside of the station, the immediate area is protected by a number of patrol ships and fighter craft supplied by Tenloss with additional ships available in the form of local Tenloss patrols.

In essence, the Wheel is the epitome of fun times and gambling guided by the knowing and just hand of benevolent Hutt management.

(If I missed you, you're either a 3rd party that isn't on my radar yet or I legit missed/misplaced you on the list)

The problem with combat was that it was chaotic at best and impossible to discern at worst, and that was gauging it at a glance. For the moment, Popo was quietly amazed not at the situation at hand, but rather those in it. Hutt battle armor wasn't exactly a new thing, yet it was evident that the two combatants in question had more or less... missed out on that portion of whatever briefing, if any, they were given. Hutt battle armor floated on repulsors giving even the fattest and slowest Hutt in the galaxy the ability to zip around at various speeds. In addition, how the one combatant who clearly thought he was invisible, either because lack of neurons or sincere belief in whatever ability or technology he utilized, was able to fire fifteen or so shots in the blink of an eye from a weapon that clearly only held eight shots in the clip was beyond him. The shell Hutt wasn't sure if he should be dumbfounded or merely amused.

The Hutt he'd fired at had dodged most of the fire courtesy of the aforementioned repulsors and the typical wraparound HUD vision the helmet gave, though from the vehement swearing it was clear that at least one shot had hit home and done some damage somewhere. The Hutt warrior was cursing up a storm, however, which meant it wasn't really a worry for Popo. The clanHutt was clearly still able to fight if he could rattle off horrible things he wanted to do to whoever had shot him. Thankfully, there was enough of a lull in the fight as his men outflanked the lone gunman that he could respond to the transmission from Ember Rekali.

"It really seems to boil down to greed in the end, I guess," the Hutt said with the tone of a verbal shrug. "The initial bid stays the same, but I'll add this: I'll cover the refit and rearmament for your fleet for this engagement and cover your overhead, any overhead, for the next month. Down to the last paycheck, bolt, and roll of toilet paper. Thirty days solid starting after the initial rest and refit of this fight. In addition I'll offer a priority supply contract for the M1-01 powered armor for clan Rekali, plus a pair of the Phrik plated variants for you to give to whomever. You break one, you lose one, you're first in line for replacement for both the full suit and any parts."

Popo flicked on the electrostaff as he moved towards The Slave before him. He had no fear of the interlopers weapons or any abilities he had at his fingertips. Skill versus skill, which the Hutt was completely okay with. A level playing ground, all things considered.

"Lastly, I don't know what the 'mighty' Gorba offered you, but I'll say this. Win or lose, and I don't intend to lose... This little spat of a turf war he's attempting won't end here. He started it, I'll end it. It might take a month or a year or a century, but I'll burn him out of every drug den, spice mine, and all-you-can-eat buffet across the galaxy for his transgression. Whatever he's offering, you can have it once I rip it from his corpse and use his hide as my personal seat cover. You can also consider clan Rekali to have first pick of all real estate, scrap, or loot from any and every place I burn to the ground of his, whether or not you're there to help the fight. I don't want his stuff, I don't need his stuff. And if you take my bid and I can't provide it..."

Popo pondered a moment before continuing, his staff and body held in a clear challenge to the tiny being before him. Today was the day that could and would change everything. Nothing would ever be the same and he could promise the galaxy to anyone he wanted, but he knew that those he gambled with today knew the difference between word and action. Top it off with they knew Tenloss and himself had lain dormant for long enough to warrant an umprompted attack such as this... What happened today and onwards would make or break the Wheel, Tenloss, and himself. It was time, for once, to put it all on the line.

"... Its yours. All of it. Barring a handful of designs that are personal favorites of mine, you'll get it all."

The old Hutt took a deep breath before letting it out slowly.

"If you side with me, and I fail... Tenloss is yours."
