Jungles of Korbin
Allies: Ara Zambrano // KO'ed: Rexus Wenck // Who knows: Alkor Centaris
Objective 3: Extreme War Games // Take Down Colonel Larusse
Post: 10
Dusk began to fall in the jungle, yet the moon of Korbin shone full and bright, casting almost a spotlight on rug of leaves beneath her feet. Through telepathic means Sarathiel explained to Varas that she was no longer the target of the Ren Master and that Colonel Larusse was.
The brunette Knight had so many questions. What did the man look like? How old was he? They’d literally been dropped off by a junky transport into the middle of the jungle and she had no idea where to start.
Force Sight maybe? Or she could try to track him as a wolf tracks a rabbit, with senses enhanced and heightened by the Force.
She looked around and suddenly Saratheil was gone. “This is a trick, isn’t it?” She snorted and shook her head. “I know what you are trying to do Master, and it won’t work.” But for five minutes, she only listened to the echo of her shouts, the chirping of crickets or other such insects. She supposed either Saratheil had more patience than she did, or else Colonel Larusse really was the target.
Crouching down, she put her hand on the ground to try feel the vibrations of anyone around. Varas caught the Force signature of Alkor Centaris, but she knew Larusse would not emit any aura at all. The Knight of Ren concentrated again on the audible sounds of the jungle, reducing her hearing of ambient noises and increasing it to focus on anything large like a human. And there! She felt it.
Varas sprinted a quarter of a mile to where thought she’d heard the Colonel, thrashing at vines with her electrostaff to clear her path, until she stopped…
She nearly tripped over the dead body of Colonel Larusse. And a shiver went through her spine as she knelt again and pulling off her gloves, felt for a pulse. He was cold and stiff which made her withdraw her hand without even trying to detect a heartbeat.
Mission accomplished, she thought, until Varas heard a bone-chilling roar nearby - nothing human and it barely sounded like an animal either. And whatever it was it sounded either angry or hungry.

This is definitely one of the best factions for fleeting. Welcome to the First Order!
