A loud buzzing sound pierced the air as heavy metallic locks slid back, allowing access to the prisons interior. Jedi Master Katarine Ryiah moved with a graceful purpose, flanked by two fully armored prison guards. Her deep green eyes stared straight ahead as she passed the cells containing inmates. Various catcalls and jeers screamed her way but she ignored them, her mind fully focused on the task at hand. She entered through another set of locked doors and found herself in an interrogation suite. Her deep green eyes stared through the glass, a one way mirror on the other side. At the moment the cold metal room beyond held only a smooth metal table and two chairs. Soon the prisoner would be brought in wearing binders and secured to that table. Before that the warden would have their say.

As her thoughts drifted towards the warden the door behind her opened and the man joined her. She could smell the smoke on him from here and her nose crinkled. Smoking was a habit she had never desired. The smell itself was enough to kill you, but she did not comment. She was still staring into the interrogation room as the warden spoke to her.

"Master Ryiah, it is a pleasure to have you here today. I am hopeful you can be of service to us."

"Thank you Warden Shar. I am here to help you as a representative of the New Jedi Order. Tell me, have you isolated the three prisoners in question?"

"Yes we did just as you requested. Really though is this ah.. needed? Since their arrival the three have been model citizens. They seem almost happy to be here."

"After a century rotting in Balck Marsh this is probably a three star resort to them. Do not let that fool you however. It is vital we make sure there are no other unaccounted for detainees of Black Marsh. These men are some of the most dangerous creatures the galaxy has ever seen. It would not due to let any of them wander for long."

"Very well. I will send the first one in."

"Thank you Warden."

She let her eyes travel back towards the interrogation room as the warden excited. The two guards were now stationed in the corner of the room beyond, holding their weapons and looking tense. No doubt the reputation of these criminals proceeded them. Even after centuries their crimes were legendary. Katarine just wanted to make sure these three inmates were the only ones lingering from Black Marsh. The same cataclysm that freed her had unfortunately freed some of the other inmates as well. Many bodies were recovered but records were scarce from so long ago, not to mention the prisons intense secrecy meant there weren't that many records to begin with. She would have to get the information from the prisoners themselves. It was the only way to officially close The Black Marsh Files.
