"Children of the Force.", his voice offered as the cloak shifted slightly in the wind.
"Today we speak on something many have concerned themselves with - the concept of evil, and how Sith fit into it. Many would have you believe that the Sith are inherently evil, psychopaths bent on conquest and bloodshed. These same would convince you that the Sith must be destroyed to preserve peace - that love must win when faced with the darkness across the hyperlane.", the Worm offered with a booming tone.
"The greatest lie the Jedi believe is that with the death of the Sith, peace shall be achieved. So long as their is Light, there will be Dark - so long as there are victors, there will be the downtrodden; an endless cycle the Jedi can not break. Should they destroy the Sith, through the genocide they seek - then they will only face another threat of their own making. The generations of hate will continue, until they lose the love they thought they fought for. They validate this by believing the Sith to be different, that the Sith do not fight to protect or to free - but that moral absolutism shines only in their favor."
"This allows the Jedi to dehumanize the Sith, believe themselves the only ones capable of love. That their genocide after the hyperspace war was valid because it was love that drew them to it - but that the Sith's destruction of the Core out of love was misgiven, a crime. They believe the Sith incapable of love, that we do not fight to protect what we hold dear - but they could not be more wrong."
"Often, these are thoughts given to them through the Force; subtle guidance fed to them with a spoon so they may not taste the bitterness of hypocrisy. Jedi from the Core would spout that it is love for their people that drives them to war - but it is this very point that proves the fault. Hatred is born in order to protect love, and it is this love that creates hatred; for both the Jedi and the Sith."
"These are causal relationships, intrinsic to one another. Love can not exist without hatred, and hatred without love - but these emotions must be embraced, for they empower you. The Jedi tow the line of this reality, but do not step over - simply dragged along by the chains of the Force. Only the Sith have broken this connection, have taken control of their emotion; and know that the causal relationship of protecting what they love leads to hatred, and hatred can lead to power."
"To protect is to worry, to worry is to prepare, and to prepare pushes one to the edge of battle. The Jedi disaparage their own, fight among one another one who love's their people more - creating the paradox of their order. Do they fight and succumb to this love, only to be bound by hatred - or do they deny these passions, and run in fear as the Silver's had? The Sith may judge the Jedi for these things, but it only comes back to the reality they face - they are not in control. It is these emotions that are solely their own that bring them close to the truth, and they should be fostered whenever possible."
"For the Sith, know that hatred is not the only emotion one can feel. Love and a need to protect can and is as strong as any emotion one can feed upon - do not believe the misgivings that only hatred and fear is the emotions we should draw on. A sith should feel passion in its greatest depths - love one another, experience the sensations of the flesh, of the heart, and know that there is more than bloodshed to be had. Know that to protect that in which you love, your hatred can only grow; and through it, your strength..."
"And through strength, you gain victory."
"Break your chains, my children. Understand that truth of the Sith as I speak it; and the day of judgement will soon come."
And with that, the Worm would depart.
