902 ABY:
The Sparks of Rebellion Have Ignited—Prakith Rises

Oppressed. Exploited. Forgotten. The miners of Prakith were left to suffer—until the Foundation gave them a reason to rise.
Now, they fight not just for survival, but for revolution.

For months, the Foundation has worked in the shadows of Prakith, embedding itself among the miners of the Imperial Mining Guild, who had long suffered under the weight of oppressive rule. Before the Dark Empire’s takeover, the miners had already faced economic devastation after the Galactic Alliance’s Expand Freedom of Movement Rights to Self-Aware Droids Act - X allowed their droid workforce to abandon them for sanctuary worlds. Left to pick up the slack with no assistance, resentment simmered beneath the surface. When the Dark Empire arrived, it tightened its grip on the guild, imposing longer shifts, harsher conditions, and violent crackdowns on dissent. The miners had lost everything—their autonomy, their livelihoods, and any hope of relief. That was when the Foundation arrived, whispering in the darkness: Rise up. Fight back. Take your world back.

The rebellion did not happen overnight. The Foundation’s operatives infiltrated Prakith in secret, posing as off-world traders, engineers, and displaced workers, embedding themselves deep in the mining communities. They smuggled weapons, disrupted supply lines, and sabotaged key operations to increase pressure on the guild while sowing distrust among Imperial overseers. More importantly, they spread the idea that the miners could reclaim what was stolen from them. They exposed hidden ledgers showing the Dark Empire’s exploitation, revealed the wealth hoarded by the Guild’s Chairman, Okono Dukkha, and trained key resistance leaders in guerrilla tactics. Bit by bit, the workers' anger turned into action.

The final spark came when the Foundation orchestrated a sector-wide work stoppage, halting all production across the mining colonies. When Imperial enforcers responded with brute force—public executions, mass arrests, and violent suppression—the miners fought back. Armed with stolen weapons and makeshift explosives, they overwhelmed key mining facilities and turned the Dark Empire’s own infrastructure against them. Explosives collapsed tunnels to trap Imperial reinforcements, cargo transports were seized and repurposed into mobile barricades, and vital refinery stations were hijacked to cut off the Empire’s resource flow. What began as pockets of resistance erupted into a full-scale revolution, forcing the Dark Empire onto the defensive.

Now, the battle for Prakith has reached a breaking point. The Imperial Mining Guild’s leadership is surrounded, its operations in chaos. The Foundation’s forces lead the charge, aiming to capture Chairman Okono Dukkha, dismantle the guild’s control, and deliver a crippling blow to the Dark Empire’s war economy in its state within the Deep Core. If Prakith falls, the very foundation of the Empire’s supply chain could collapse, shifting the balance of the war. But the fight is far from over. The Dark Empire will not surrender its lifeline without a brutal last stand, and Prakith’s fate—along with the fate of the miners, the rebellion, and the Core itself—will be decided in the coming battle.
