The veil has been lifted! In spite of rumors of a mass communications blackout at Maldra IV, the fog of war has cleared to reveal a definitive Imperial victory and the mass routing of Coalition forces from the Shadola and Cadma sectors. This event comes during a period of transition for the Imperial Throne as Empress-elect Kanni Ugaiya Kilran continues her preparations to take the throne. The Empress was notably present at the battle, where she led the elite 501st “Helldogs” Galactic Marines in an assault on the Nest.

Thus, owing to the efforts of the Empress and the Imperial Military, the New Imperial Security Bureau has deemed the first and arguably most critical stage of the Imperial counter-offensive as a resounding success, to which Staff Agent Ivixa Nera’kas gave the Imperial Information Network the following statement: “In spite of worrying initial reports, we can confidently assess that Imperial dominance has been established at Garn and Maldra IV. After the conclusion of the ongoing cleanup operations, these worlds will be assigned governors and fully brought into the fold. However, they will remain under Imperial blockade for the foreseeable future, until such a time that security can be guaranteed.”

Staff Agent Nera’kas also announced that the NISB received a memo late last night regarding the rumored disappearance of the Coalition Commander, known as Solarus Fynch. However, when further pressed on the matter, the Staff Agent offered no confirming statements regarding his fate. Nevertheless, with the conspicuous absence of the rebellion's wealthy mercenary backers and allies from the field, there is increasing speculation that the Tingel Arm Coalition has been reduced to a failed state in the wake of the battle.

For many, Imperial victory over the Coalition now seems to be only a matter of time. Moff Karl Von Strauss, who received a Valorous Services Medal for leading post-battle rescue efforts, reported the status of the war in decisive terms: “With the victory here, I don't see this rebellion lasting much longer. After the loss at Lothal and Dac, coupled with the loss here, there is no doubt in my mind that their leadership is in shambles. What could've been something that tipped our Empire into the realm of history, didn't. This should be remembered as how quickly we, the Empire of the Lost, dealt with and subdued our enemy."

With Imperial dominion established over these worlds, the Empire continues its mission to rebuild the ravaged Scar Worlds across Wild Space and Tingel Arm. Victory will herald the beginning of peace in these conflicted regions. Sector by sector, system by system, planet by planet, continent by continent, and settlement by settlement, the Empire of the Lost marches onward!

Long Live the Empress!
