"Truth is a weapon, and tonight, we wield it."

GNN Anchor – Joran Kael:

"A once-thriving world stands on the brink of collapse. Its people scattered, its leadership fractured, and its future uncertain. Tonight, we take you inside Ord Providence—a planet where whispers of conspiracy have turned into echoes of war."

"What began as a crisis of faith has spiraled into something far worse. Reports of government-ordered purges, a secretive military lockdown, and an ancient space station buried beneath the capital have left us with one pressing question: Is this the end of Ord Providence? Or is it the beginning of something even darker?"

"The official word? Silence. The council has gone dark, communications have been restricted, and those who dared to speak out have simply... vanished. But we still have sources. We still have stories. And tonight, we bring them to you."

GNN Correspondent, Ord Providence System:

"I'm standing here just beyond Ord Providence's orbital perimeter, where communications have become increasingly fragmented. The planet's emergency broadcast network was shut down hours ago, leaving civilians and off-world observers alike with little more than scattered distress signals and conflicting reports."

"What we do know is this: the planetary government has all but ceased to function. The ruling council, once an unshakable authority, has turned against its own people. Security forces have locked down entire districts, while those who resist have been labeled as dissidents and eliminated."

"But the most disturbing reports suggest that this was not a response to a sudden uprising—it was planned."

The 'Contingency' Protocol – Mass Purge or Preemptive Strike?

*"Encrypted transmissions intercepted from within the capital have all referenced a single term: Contingency."

"What does it mean? To the people trapped inside the city, it means the sudden disappearance of neighbors, families, entire communities. To the government? It appears to be something far more calculated. Sources claim the planetary leadership invoked an emergency directive, originally designed as a last resort in the event of total societal collapse. But instead of being used to protect the people, it's being used against them."

"The details remain murky—because that's how they want it. Some sources claim the government is relocating civilians underground to avoid some unspoken catastrophe. Others say the 'relocations' are more permanent. That whole neighborhoods are being 'cleansed' to ensure only the 'loyal' remain. And the most chilling report? That Contingency is not about survival at all. It's about erasure."

"Whatever the truth may be, we know this much: People are disappearing, and the council isn't answering for it."

GNN Correspondent, Provinia – The Capital in Lockdown:

"We've received unconfirmed footage from within Provinia—smuggled out through secondary channels. What you're about to see may be disturbing."

A flickering image appears—a cityscape choked in smoke, civilians attempting to break through barricades, only to be fired upon by armored troops bearing the insignia of the Ord Providence security forces. The footage jitters, then cuts to black.

"Survivors report that entire sections of the capital have been sealed—locked down without warning. Those caught outside are being driven from the streets. Some claim they saw entire blocks being 'evacuated,' only for those same areas to go dark, with no word from the inhabitants since."

"Government officials refuse to comment. Military leaders have gone silent. The question is: Where are these people being taken? And more importantly, why?"

Buried Secrets – The Space Station Below the Capital

"One of the most startling discoveries to emerge from this crisis is what lies beneath Provinia."

"Leaked records suggest that long before Ord Providence became what it is today, its first settlers arrived aboard a massive space station—a mobile colony ship that eventually became the foundation of the planet's first city."

"For generations, access to this ancient station has been strictly forbidden, labeled a 'holy site' by the ruling class. Any attempt to reach it was met with swift punishment. Yet now, as the streets burn and the council flees, sources suggest that the government has reactivated it."

"We've received conflicting information. Some claim it's an evacuation measure—a way for the elite to escape the chaos. Others believe it's something far worse. That the council never intended to save the people. That they intended to replace them."

Distress Call from a Defector

A new transmission plays—its signal weak, as if sent from deep underground.

Lunaria Atelle:
"<Greetings... Galactic Alliance. My name is Lunaria Atelle... I was of the Elder Council of Ord Providence... but have chosen to break my ritual isolation to speak with you. The Elders have crossed a boundary one should not... When Ord Providence was founded, a system called Contingency was prepared to... cleanse the planet, should it ever seem as though our society would fall. This is not right... b-but we didn't... nobody thought it would ever be used. I couldn't deter the council from their decision, and worse yet the process is irreversible. There is, however, still a way to save lives. Something that can ferry the people of Ord Providence to safety. Below the capital city, Provinia, lies a space station. It was the very vessel that carried our ancestors to this place, and it became the foundation of the first dome. The station was closed from entry for belief that it became a holy site, but now it stands as the only path to safety. In light of my... recent act of mutiny, the military within the Tower of the High have been actively hunting me, preventing me from reaching the top floor. The station must be activated from the terminal there, and I am the only willing party with the clearance to do so. Please... I ask you lend me your strength. The fate of my planet depends upon it.>"

The transmission cuts, leaving behind only static.

GNN Anchor – Joran Kael:

"A dying world. A government willing to sacrifice its own people. A hidden station that may be the last hope—or the final prison—for those left behind."

"We've heard a lot of stories tonight. Some conflicting, some incomplete, and some downright terrifying. But let's step back and ask the real question: Who benefits from this chaos?"

"The council claims this is an act of necessity, but necessity for whom? If the people of Ord Providence were truly in danger, why weren't they told? Why weren't they prepared? Why, in a galaxy filled with governments and factions more than willing to send aid, did the ruling elite decide the best solution was to silence their own people?"

"History will remember what happens here. That much is certain. The question is, who will be left to tell that story? Who will be left to write it?"

"This isn't just about Ord Providence anymore. It's about the precedent being set. A government that decides when its people are 'no longer necessary' is a government that cannot be allowed to continue. And yet, here we are, watching it unfold in real time."

"Tomorrow, the galaxy may move on. Another war, another scandal, another manufactured crisis to distract from the last one. But for the people still trapped on Ord Providence, tomorrow might not come at all."

"We may not have the answers yet, but one thing is clear—this is no longer a question of survival."

"It is a question of who is rewriting history, and at what cost."

"This is Joran Kael, and you're watching the Kael Report—bringing you the truth, no matter where it leads."
