To some Corellians, the horizon is home
The Starchasers are an old family of Corellian lineage, right up until the current generation. A family of Green Jedi, who were fiercely independent, the Starchaser House has based out of the estate near Tyrena and Corellia’s Gold Beaches. The Estate has been on this location, a cliff overlooking the Gold Beach, but not obscenely so, since the times of the High Republic when it was purchased with funds from the Starchaser’s trailblazing routes.
Not as high profile as the San Tekkas, the Starchasers worked with the Republic as much as any Corellian Jedi would. Prominent in the ranks of Jedi Sentinels and the Exploration Corps, the Starchasers of old had a knack for going their own way. Even the family members who did not find themselves in the rank of Jedi, were naturals behind the controls of a starfighter or freighter.
Due to this, the Estate was built around a substantial landing field, with room to land a handful of freighters at one time, and hangar space to repair or house the same.
Known for their following of the rules of the spacer, Starchasers were and are keen to help other starships in need, and for this reason, more than a few of the family have found themselves, especially after the Ancient Order 66 as Wardens of the Sky who moonlight as Jedi.
Starships, and Jedi Robes tend to have a color scheme of either a midnight blue field, turquoise/teal field, with golden and yellow highlights, demonstrating the family’s colors. Gold/yellow representing Ashla and the Gold Beaches, Midnight blue representing the sea at night, where ancient Starchasers first used the stars of Corellia in navigation, as well as the modern interpretation of deep space, and Turquoise representing the seas around the Gold Beaches during daylight.
It is widely seen that Starchasers, even with hybrid members, tend to have blue eyes.
Not much for Corellian, or the wider galactic politics, the House does play home to many Explorers, of the Starchaser family proper, and septs that were once under the payroll and guidance of the Starchasers. Its been known that Starchasers will come into the limelight when absolutely needed, be that during times of great darkness and upheaval.
