Led by semi-pacifist Ithorian shock troops, IFL service members personally secured all Deep Core worlds oppressed by the Dark Empire regime. The IFL will retain a peacekeeping presence indefinitely.
Credit for the Dark Empire's withdrawal has seen claimants as diverse as the Foundation, the Galactic Alliance, the New Jedi Order, and the Dark Empire itself. However, it was the Ithorians.
