There was so much going on in the galaxy. What Jared knew was that someone had to take a bit of charge. That was why he stepped back into what he did know. And that meant being an enabler. While still focusing on his own quests, the ones that made him less Jedi and more Force operative, he was focusing on setting up missions for Levantine operatives, Tide of Light supporters, and just explorers as much as he could. Granted mission command of the MC-65 Oasis from his father, the Kattadan registered vessel was sitting between the worlds of Naboo, Laekia, and Sullust, moving operatives and finding new routes through space.
Backed up by two Forerunner exploration frigates, the ship and her supports relied on their smaller pilots, but moreso on their ability to literally disappear into hyperspace. Working with modified hyperdrives that allow for the access to specialized paths. These were provided by Coren Starchaser as he was working from his base on Kattada and Laekia, two sister Temples that focus on explorers.
What Jared was most proud of, was the squadron of Force sensitive starpilots. His father had worked a deal with Guardian Authority. What Jared then allowed, was for the pilots to paint their fighters how they saw fit. Jared’s himself was a blue and gray fighter now, reminiscent of his first Clawcraft. The fighter was becoming his primary method of hopping around the galaxy, just him and Hopper.
The Oasis had begun its work as a mobile landing zone and port for explorers and operatives. The major tasks were posted arrivals office. Almost a small starport’s customs office, the Oasis made sure to check chaincodes and deliveries of the pilots. While mostly open to its own pilots, the ExplorCorps, and Underground operatives, the Oasis did travel with a small ping that allowed for pilots in distress to locate it, similar to the Starlight Beacon of ancient legends, or even the sister ship of the Oasis, the Dawn Chaser.
Once inside, the ship was redesigned from its military listing and use to become a more of a traveling bazaar, waystation for pilots, and starship repair facility. Still armed with enough weapons to defend itself from most ships smaller than it, the Oasis and her crew were explorers, diving off into the depths to find old worlds, find old paths, and connect the worlds.
Currently, the mission of the Oasis was simple: Connect Wild Space to the Unknown Regions, deliver Force users around the galaxy, and protect those that need protecting.
