MNN News, with your hosts, Vau the Destroyer, and Mirta Saxon

VAU : Good evening, and welcome to news of the hour, from Mandalore News Network, your trusted source for all current events in the world, the sector, and the whole galaxy too.

We bring you now a report on the aftermath of several reported raids along the border between the Empire of the Lost, and the Mandalorian Protectors. My colleague, Mirta, here with me in Keldabe, with this special investigative report.

LISTEN AND TAKE HEED!

MIRTA : Thankyou, Vau.

Many leaders among the worlds of the Mandalore Sector have made public statements condemning the Empire, and calling for military action to secure the border territories. Officials on Mandalore have been quoted as saying that preparations for a military operation are well underway.

And so, the situation remains tense. In the current political climate, the unlikely surrender of significant territory by the Empire to the Mandalorian Protectors would seem the only path forward which will not lead to immediate armed clashes between these two rival powers.

So far, our requests to Imperial representatives for a statement on the current crisis have gone unanswered. A source inside the Empire of the Lost is reporting that no action is being taken at this time.

Newly appointed Governor of the Mandalore Sector, Marshal Arla Rodarch met with planetary leaders, clan chiefs and other stake holders in Keldabe today to address the raids, and Mandalore's response. In a speech the Governor said that : "In order to maintain continued security for the Mandalorian people, these sectors of Imperial space should be annexed to the territory of the Mandalorian Protectors. The new borders will reflect a more balanced and stable division between the Empire and Mandalore."

In an interview with our reporter, the Governor also stated : "This so-called Empire, which so brazenly violates our territory, assaults our people, and believes it can continue to do so with impunity has reached a point where we can no longer stand by and watch."

With no sign of tensions easing, the calls for war from the Mandalorian people will only get louder with time, as will pressure on the leadership to take action. We'll bring you any developments as they happen. MNN News, Keldabe.
