"Where to start this time....." Aiden took a deep breath as he glanced at the holo-recorder. He hadn't started the recorder yet, once more trying to find the words. Usually didn't take this long, however this wasn't going to be sent to Solenne, it was a recording for himself. A way to get something off of his mind, that he hadn't told anyone yet. And here he thought the days of keeping things from his friends was over. While it would be brought up in time, there was somethings that he had to discover for himself. He felt this was one of those things.
The Jedi Padawan flipped on the holo recorder. He sat back in his chair, as he raised the mug of hot chocolate to his lips. Taking a small sip before setting it to the side. "I had a rather strange dream. Perhaps a vision, maybe. I'm not well versed in visions or dreams and their meanings. I awoke with a start, upon hearing the calling of my name. Light, yet powerful.....I recall venturing out into the darkness of the night. There a flash of red light flew overhead....."
The Jedi Padawan reached for his mug, then took a small sip again. His brain working out the thoughts in his head. What he had seen, what wasn't seen.
'Not a moment later the entire homestead was aflame. Screams from the innocent, and from the source. I was unable to move, I could see them. Shadows moving in the flames, behind the scenes. I gained the ability to the move finally, as I rushed through the fields to help whomever I could. It was too late, lives were long gone."
Another sip he took, before setting the mug down again. He looked at the holorecorder for a few seconds before continuing. "The scene shifted again, as I stood in the center of Theed Square. Same as before, the city was on fire. Screams filled the air, terrifying, they shook me to the core. There was a foul voice on the air, that directed me towards the Palace. Upon my arrival, there was several people I knew.....people I loved and cared for. Their bodies lay dead against the steps of the palace. And at the top of the stairs there was....."
The Jedi Padawan took a deep breath, as his mind wandered near and far. "And at the top of the stairs there was......" He let out a small frustrated sigh.
"I need to figure this out, I don't think I have much time...."
"This may be my last chance."
The Padawan shut the holorecorder off.
