The executive office of Her Majesty, Queen Inara Kalantha Berenko of Naboo, has issued the following TRAVEL ADVISORY for the PEOPLE OF THE REPUBLIC, effective immediately:
Do not travel to the Hapes Cluster due to the active presence of aggressive Hapan military forces and Crimson Veil rebels. Republic citizens may face harassment or detention by Hapan security officials, arbitrary enforcement of local laws, limited travel to and from Hapes, and the possibility of terrorism. The Republic Embassy has limited ability to assist Republic citizens in Ta'a Chume'Dan. The Department of Foreign Affairs has determined that there is a continued risk of wrongful detention of Republic nationals by Hapan authorities. Republic citizens residing or traveling in the Hapes Cluster should leave immediately.
The Royal Republic government has limited ability to help Republic citizens in the Hapes Cluster, especially offworld from Hapes. The Republic Embassy is operating with reduced staffing, and the Hapan government has restricted travel for embassy personnel. Furthermore, all Republic consulates in the Hapes Cluster have suspended operations, including consular services.
If you must remain on Hapes or within the Hapes Cluster, please be aware of the following:
- Do not travel alone
- Do not travel after dark
- Adhere to local curfews where applicable
- Do not offer aid or assistance to anyone outside your group, even if they appear to be Hapan security personnel or officials
- Do not rely on digital currencies or Republic credits
- Do not visit highly populated public areas, such as parks, as these may be targets of terrorism
- Do not join public assemblies or displays, as these may turn violent or lead to unlawful arrests
