"Father, I have been searching for days. I can't sense anything out of the ordinary here. The outpost you spoke of was deserted." Aiden placed his hands behind his back as he listened to the words come back through the transmitter from his father.
"The darkside is clouding my vision. It's impossible to see the future right now. Return home son, we will regroup together....all of us."
"Yes father, I will report back when I am in enroute."
Aiden took a deep breath as the transmission ended, he leaned back against the alley wall. This whole situation made him feel completely uneasy. His hand slowly reached for the jewel around his neck. Give to him by Solenne Abraxas .
He left without saying a word to her. He knew in his heart that if he told her, that he was going that she would indeed go with him. She had done plenty for him already. The Padawan didn't want to drag her or anyone else into this family affair.
His father placed to much faith in him, it was the wrong idea to split up like this.
Aiden glanced down either end of the alleyway on Tatooine as his hand lowered away from the jewel and he made his way out. The hangar was his destination ready to leave this this place, hopefully for good.
