Ever since the invasion of the Core began, The Galactic Alliance and its people knew this day was coming. But no living being could have expected the severity of this attack. The assault on Coruscant, once the very heart of the Alliance, was relentless. With countless people still trapped on the Ecumenopolis, soldiers, Sith, Dark Jedi and more descended upon the planet to wreak havoc and capture the very center of the Galaxy. But in the face of this terrible evil, the defenders of Coruscant — military, Jedi, and civilians alike — rallied to protect their home.

The leadership of the Alliance's military commanders was instrumental in orchestrating the defense. Their preparations for the battle and strategic planning, combined with the incredible valor of the troops and crucial assistance of the New Jedi Order, turned what could have been a disastrous defeat into a remarkable victory. Many allies came to the Alliance's aid as well in its darkest hours, and without their service and sacrifice, this victory would not have been possible.

Now, with the Empire forced to retreat, the Galactic Alliance is seizing the initiative. This victory at Coruscant is not merely a defensive success; it signifies a turning point in the ongoing struggle against the Empire's invasion. Already, the Alliance is preparing its counter-offensive, aimed at liberating the Core Worlds from the Empire's control. The resolve and unity shown during the defense of Coruscant will undoubtedly fuel the upcoming campaign.
