Caedyn Arenais:
Character Biography.
Caedyn, son of Veiere Arenais and Kay Larr-Arenais had lived a full and dutiful life, fulfilling many roles over his years. Starting with his childhood on Commenor, then becoming an Apprentice under the Je’daii Order, followed by his membership within the ranks of the Jedi Order like his Father had been before him.
Caedyn’s younger years saw him take on the role of a Guardian, a combatant and warden of the Light Side of the Force, seeking to encourage peace and justice wherever his path would take him.
In his later years, Caedyn found greater benefit in the wisdom of the Consular’s path, and began to steer away from the endless conflicting nature of the Galaxy, listening instead to the Force as it directed him, guided him in numerous adventures bringing greater learning and peace of heart and mind.
The duality of being the sole Monarch of Mnemosyne, as well as living the live and duties of a Jedi Master had always been a challenge that Caedyn Arenais had managed through the Government’s Constitutional Monarchy, a role that only required his decision making in the more dire of circumstances. With the foundation of Praxeum of the Whills, Caedyn Arenais looked to remove himself from all positions of political influence, instead seeking to represent the humble and simplistic lifestyle that he had come to adore, finding appreciation in the beautiful things in life such as nature, social relationships, peace and harmony, and of course, the Force. When Caedyn positioned himself to stand as Steward of the Praxeum of the Whills, he relinquished the Monarchy of Mnemosyne and instead turned all authority and power of leadership over to the Government itself, turning the World into a true democratic nation.
With his devotion to the Force, to the Consular’s Path, Caedyn had long been considering giving himself, in his entirety, to the discipline. After months of planning and consideration, he decided that he would divide the assets of House Arenais so that they would be provided to his Children, Kristyl Arenais and Jaitre Lanabre-Arenais. House Arenais would then be dissolved of all of its political and commercial interests, selling everything so that his Children would have the credits to go without wanting for anything. Assets that had been commissioned for the Jedi Order however, would remain, as Caedyn would forever give what he could to assist the Jedi in keeping the peace in the Galaxy.
Once free of responsibility and connections to organizations outside of the Praxeum of the Whills, Caedyn would make the Praxeum his permanent home where he would focus on teaching others the ways of the Force, to educate both Force Sensistives as well as Non-Force Sensitives, to spread the influence of the Force where possible, to those seeking to learn. Peoples of all affiliations would be welcome to visit the Praxeum, a place of neutrality as encouraged by Caedyn and the other Masters of the Praxeum, a place where one’s resentments were left at the entrance so that all could enter in peace and mutual devotion to the Force.
Kristyl Arenais:
Character Biography.
Kristyl Arenais had not found the desired entrance into politics as she had hoped on Mnemosyne, nor had Coruscant appealed to her as a place of potential political involvement as it was far too busy compared to the humble beginnings that she had come from.
Following the revelation of her Father’s dream for a new direction in life, Kristyl understood well who Caedyn was and how much this change meant to him; While she couldn’t quite comprehend it herself, she accepted his decision out of love for her Father and instead decided that it was time she return to the Shiraya Expanse, specifically Cyrihan’ethira where she could forge a life of her own.
With an over abundance of credits and the prospects of a wild World mostly unexplored, Kristyl would fund an expedition to Cyrihan’ethira, to establish a Colony on the planet where she and others could live beyond the reach of political conflicts and the religious judgements of Force Orders. In this, she would also be closer to her Mother, Asaraa Vaashe who remained with the The Ascendancy.
In some way, Kristyl’s life was only starting to bloom, once more striking out on her own with grand aspirations, a dream in hand and the will to see it through; despite this next monumental step in her life, Cyrihan’ethira couldn’t be further from the known Galaxy and thus she would depart only after saying her farewells to her friends and family.
What would become of her, many would go without knowing.
Jaitre Lanabre-Arenais:
Character Biography.
The youngest of House Arenais, adopted but no less a part of this household, Jaitre was devastated by Caedyn’s decision to dissolve the Family Trust. Although humbled and immensely appreciative of his inheritance, Jaitre would spend many months struggling to deal with the loss of a sense of family that he had finally acquired in life. While they might see one another from time to time, their next meeting would likely be as estranged acquantainces more so than Father and Son, and that wouldn’t come for many years ahead. Jaitre hadn’t imagined this day would come, however Caedyn had been slowly positioning Jaitre to look at the Jedi as his family, to release the young Zeltron from his attachment to material and familial bonds so that he could devote himself to the Jedi Path.
Fractured, though the Jedi might be in this day and age, the years prior had allowed Jaitre to form connections with the New Jedi Order as well as the Force Order of the Rimward Trade League, the Jedi Enclave of Svivren and other smaller sects of Jedi groups across the Galaxy. Jaitre would eventually see the true sense in why Caedyn ensured that his curriculum would be spread out across various corners of the Galaxy rather than being trained under one single temple or praxeum.
The Svivren Jedi Enclave would eventually become Jaitre’s full-time residence once he was released from the curriculum set in place by his Father. There, Jaitre would continue to support all other Jedi groups and organizations in their mandate to protect the Galaxy, while making the Outer Rim Territories his main focus, with no shortage of need for an able Jedi seeking to make a name for themselves and bring some good to the lives of others.
