Geonosis is on fire.
The planet, once a powerhouse of galactic industry, is now a brutal, sprawling warzone. What started as political divisions between reformists and traditionalists has collapsed into full-scale civil war. The capital, Stalgasin Hive, is under siege. The skies are thick with smoke, tunnels collapse under constant shelling, and the surface is a wasteland of shifting battle lines and broken machinery.
Archduke Ukvax, the leader of Stalgasin and its remaining vassal hives, is fighting a war on multiple fronts. His forces are desperately holding what little ground they still control, but every day, the walls close in. Their main enemy? Hive Gehenbar, a violent, fanatical movement bent on wiping out all outsiders and any Geonosians who don't conform to their vision of purity. For them, this is not just a war—it's an extermination.
The attack on Stalgasin was inevitable, but the scale is staggering. Gehenbar's forces have cut through every outpost in their path, their warriors fueled by hatred, their leaders issuing death orders without hesitation. The siege has reached its peak, and if Stalgasin falls, so does any hope for a united Geonosis.
A FRACTURED PLANET
But this war isn't just between Stalgasin and Gehenbar. Across the planet, different factions are fighting their own wars, driven by ambition, revenge, or sheer desperation.
Golbah Hive—once a thriving trade hub—has been torn apart. The Scarred Duke, a warlord with a vision of Geonosis as his own personal dominion, has taken over what's left of the hive, ruling through fear and brute strength. Those still loyal to Stalgasin fight back, but it's a losing battle. The tunnels beneath Golbah have collapsed, turning entire city blocks into ruins. The Scarred Duke's forces push forward, using whatever means necessary to claim total control.
Then there are the wild hives—rogue factions that answer to no one. Trellik Hive and Gogum Hive are locked in their own war, scavenging ancient Confederacy-era war machines, modifying them into devastating weapons. Their raids are fast, brutal, and unpredictable, hitting both Stalgasin and Gehenbar whenever it suits them. Their repulsorcraft tear across the dunes, guns mounted to anything that can still move, striking before vanishing into the wastelands.
And then, something worse—the mutated ones. Hidden in the depths of the planet, a monstrous faction of Geonosians, the result of twisted Confederate experiments, has begun emerging from the shadows. These creatures serve no cause, hold no loyalty. They slaughter everything in their path, carving out their own territory in a world already drowning in blood.
THE NEUTRAL HANDS FEEDING THE FIRE
Not everyone is picking a side. Trippa Hive, one of the few remaining stable territories, has turned the war into an opportunity. They supply weapons, resources, and technology to whoever can pay, ensuring the conflict never runs dry. They have no loyalty to Stalgasin, Gehenbar, or anyone else—only the promise of credits and survival.
Meanwhile, Galard Stables Hive, a smaller but determined faction, is fighting for something bigger. Their warriors, scattered and leaderless, have pledged themselves to Stalgasin, fighting a guerilla war against Gehenbar's forces. Their hope is not just survival, but reunification—a dream that feels further away with each passing day.
A PLANET BLEEDING OUT
The numbers are grim. Analysts predict that by the end of this war, between 15 and 25 billion Geonosians will be dead, along with up to 6 billion non-Geonosians caught in the chaos. Cities are crumbling, entire populations are vanishing, and yet the war rages on.
Despite the devastation, there are those who refuse to let Geonosis die. A former civilian, now a fighter for Stalgasin, shared his view on the conflict:
"We are not just fighting to survive. We are fighting to take back our world. Gehenbar and the warlords think they can tear Geonosis apart, but we will outlast them. We will rebuild. And when this war ends, it will be us standing over the ruins, not them."
WHAT COMES NEXT?
Ukvax faces an impossible choice. He cannot hold the planet alone. His forces are stretched thin, his hives are fracturing, and Gehenbar's final push could break what remains of his rule.
For now, he refuses outside intervention. But with Stalgasin losing ground every day, he may have no other option. If he calls for help, it could change the course of the war—but it could also cost him control of Geonosis itself.
One thing is clear: this war will decide the fate of the planet.
