"A city-world suffocating under smoke and chaos. The heart of the Empire of the Lost is fractured, with streets in revolt, skies ablaze, and once-loyal soldiers turning on one another. The collapse is here—and it is merciless."

THE FALL OF LIANNA – AN EMPIRE'S SHAME LAID BARE

Across the capital-world of Lianna, chaos reigns supreme. Where once banners of order and might flew high over towering spires, now only smoke and fire remain. With food shipments halted, water purification plants faltering, and critical systems collapsing, the population—once tightly controlled—is starving, desperate, and enraged.

The world has descended into a nightmare. Rioters and looters clash with remnants of Imperial soldiers attempting to enforce order. Fires spread unchecked through the dense cityscape. Whole districts are reportedly without power, and waste chokes the streets as environmental plants fail one after another.

Eyewitnesses describe armored vehicles rolling through burning thoroughfares, firing gas grenades and shouting slogans of loyalty to a government that no longer answers their calls. Columns of soldiers attempt to hold back waves of civilians crying out that the Empire has fallen.

THE CORE WORLDS IN REVOLT – THE COLLAPSE WIDENS

Lianna is not alone. Reports indicate similar scenes playing out across multiple core systems. What began as scattered civil unrest has become a synchronized rebellion. Rumors swirl of high-ranking officers abandoning posts, while local governors and corporate leaders barricade themselves in private fortresses, trusting only their closest allies as the chain of command disintegrates.

From ecumenopoleis to industrial powerhouses, Imperial infrastructure is crumbling. Banks are empty. Salaries unpaid. Fleets disbanded or turned pirate. No world seems immune as the system-wide economic implosion renders entire militaries powerless and unmoored.

In orbit above these desperate worlds, even once-proud warships now barter survival for resources. In some cases, vessels have begun exacting tolls from fleeing transports. Others have simply defected, preying on their own territory in a frenzy of self-preservation.

A FLICKERING LIGHT – MON CALAMARI SECTOR HOLDS THE LINE

Yet amid the widespread collapse, a fragile island of stability clings to life in the Mon Calamari Sector. One of the last bastions of Imperial control, this sector has managed to stave off the worst of the chaos—for now.

With backing from the private military forces of N&Z Security and the steady flow of resources along the Khonshu Trade Pathway, the local leadership has kept riots at bay and supply lines flowing. Though scattered unrest flickers in the shadows of Mon Cala's towering cities, the situation remains tenuous but under control.

Sources on the ground report that food shipments and credits continue to arrive, and while the atmosphere is tense, the sector has avoided the full-scale collapse seen on Lianna and elsewhere. Some analysts speculate that this pocket of stability could serve as a springboard for any attempt to reforge Imperial authority, though others caution that this calm may only be temporary in the storm engulfing the wider Empire.

THE EMPIRE EATS ITSELF – DESPERATION TAKES HOLD

The collapse has bred betrayal. On Lianna, corporate dynasties now face the wrath of the masses. Headquarters once thought impregnable have become the last redoubts for the wealthy and influential. Their private armies scatter or defect, leaving their employers at the mercy of the streets.

Elsewhere, once-loyal starships have turned their guns on former comrades in disputes over dwindling resources and safe passage. Even within military circles, units now operate independently, unsure if orders from above are legitimate—or if there is even anyone left to give them.

And in the sky, skirmishes rage as isolated fleets cling to their final loyalties. One warship’s destruction at the hands of a rival vessel paints a bleak picture of what little unity remains.

The Empire of the Lost is not only collapsing under outside pressure. It is cannibalizing itself from within.

A GALAXY WATCHES – WHAT COMES NEXT?

As the fires burn, neighboring powers monitor the situation closely. Some call it the inevitable fall of a decaying regime. Others warn that chaos breeds new dangers—warlords, opportunistic factions, or foreign invasions that could reshape the galactic order overnight.

For the billions still trapped on Imperial worlds, survival is the only goal. Will rescuers come? Will anyone take responsibility for this crumbling civilization? Or will these systems be left to rot, forgotten in the shadows of galactic history?

The Empire is bleeding out in plain sight. Its people cry for aid. Its leaders are nowhere to be found.

The galaxy waits—watching, calculating, and wondering who will seize the ashes.
