For years, a merciless, cruel Scourge has swept across Tygara and Arkas, bringing poverty, misery and suffering wherever it goes. This Scourge has a name, Firemane. Firemane has denied us our most elemental rights. they can use us as cannon fodder and pillage the wealth of our country. Firemane and its minions speak of progress, but all they have accomplished is tyranny. Yet they dare to call us savages. They don't care that we have nothing, absolutely nothing, not even a roof over our heads, no land, no work, no health care, no food nor education. They care not for our liberties, our ancient customs or our Goddesses and Gods. They profane our temples, poison our rivers, our soil and our children. But today we, the Generals and Soldiers of the Liberation Army, say enough is enough.
We have lit the fire, but we're not alone. We drove them out of Fort Kerrigan and the Northlands. We fought them at Suqua even after they razed the city and subjects its innocent people to cruel starvation. They rain down bombs, and we are still here. And we can call upon the dispossessed, the mamluks, the knights, the priestesses and the workers and peasants to join our noble struggle against the traitors, the oppressors and the parasites and their collaborators. Independence, or Death, let these sacred words rally us, and let them be the signal of battle, and of our restoration.
Beforehand, we refuse any effort to disgrace our just cause by accusing us of being raiders, brigands, thieves, or other names that might by used by the Great Oppressor. By their deeds shall you know them.
Therefore, according to our Declaration of War, we Pledge and Declare the following, by the Goddesses and Gods, the Spirits and the honour of our ancestors:
That Siobhan Kerrigan is declared tyrant, usurper and false queen. Any oaths sworn to her are void, any debts to her or her estate illegitimate, any property claims are illegal. Should she, by means of foul sorcery or unnatural science, return from the hell she was cast in we pledge to destroy her.
That Tegaea Alcori is a honourless criminal and a parasite upon Tygara and Arkas. All debts to her or her estate are illegitimate, as are all property claims. Anyone in a position to do so is urged to carry out summary judgement on this leech.
That it follows from the above that all current and former members of the Firemane Board Control, all members of the Firemane High Command and all Firemane Officials are declared criminals, slavers and parasites whose presence on Tygara and Arkas has been the cause of tremendous misery for the peoples of both worlds. We shall initiate summary judgement against them, seize their property and redistribute it among those wronged by their oppressive rule.
That the question of the Queenship of Suqua shall be decided by a Grand Council of the Suquan People upon the achievement of liberation from the rule of foreign tyrants and mercenaries. All patriotic Suquan forces are called upon to participate in the liberation struggle.
That the lives of captured Firemane Sepoys shall be respected and treated with dignity. Their wounded shall receive medical care. We urge them to break their shackles and join the liberation struggle.
That we, the Liberation Army, shall free all who are held in slavery by the collar of iron or the collar of debt. The reparations for their suffering shall come from those who placed them in chains.
That the Liberation Army may not take a single needle or piece of thread from the masses without compensation.
That all foreign entities, all profiteers who partake in Firemane's cruel ventures and exploit the people of Tygara and Arkas shall share the fate of the Great Oppressor.
That we, the Generals and Soldiers of the Liberation Army and its Allies, shall fight against the Great Oppressor until all ill-gotten wealth piled up by the sweat and soil of Tygara's and Arkas' daughters and sons has been sunk, and until every drop blood of drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword.
To the People of Tygara and Arkas: We, the women and men of the Liberation Army, full and free, are conscious that the war we have declared is a just one and blessed by the Goddesses, Gods and the Spirits. We call upon you to join our sacred struggle, take back what was stolen from you and destroy those who wronged you. Together, we shall lay waste to armies, we shall fight on the land, the sea, in the sky and in the void, and burn skypalaces to the ground.
Liberty for Tygara and Arkas, eternal hatred to Firemane is our cry.
