Starchaser. That name carries a lot of weight. Some bad, mostly good. I mean, the most widely known is my father, Coren, and well, my sister Kaia. She helps a lot. They both do. Both good Jedi.
But, the more I think about it, and here I am… what… on a jump between somewhere stupid to no where at all. What I'm doing, is picking up the pieces of the war. Maybe that's what Scar Worlds are really doing. What the Ossus Initiative could be doing, is picking up the pieces. This galaxy has a huge war going on, the only war that really matters. The one between the darkness and the light.
Now, I don't run around waving that my history is tied intimately with the Jedi. I didn't grow up as a Jedi, grew up as a Force Adept. But then my Dad stepped back on the scene. Learned a lot from him, but not all of the answers are found in the Jedi. I'm digressing… How many whiskeys was that…
There is a blip in the datacron recording.
Ok, so, that trip was something else. What we… and by me I mean Vooltroo, a displaced and very intelligent Ithorian, were after were the reason I was carrying on before. After the battles are fought? After the fleets are gone, Jedi or Sith, doesn't matter who won, after their humanitarian teams leave, the world is never the same. The Bryn came through, much like the Vong of old, and ripped worlds down, Jedi or Sith, powerful Force users showed up, fought them back, pulling on the very power of creation, its bound to create echoes.
Some come by quickly, Light siders can banish a dark side spirit, some take time, they're echoes no one is even realizing they're creating. That's what I work on. Its why I don't stand 100% with the Jedi. I'll back them up, all day long, because I believe in what they fight for…
But the lore of the Jedi, what I can find in the holocrons? It can't answer some of the stuff that we have going on. It can counter the darkside, counter the spell weaving done by the Sith and Nightsisters, but it is terrible at stopping what they don't know is out there, what they create.
The Jensaarai? They taught me a lot. Living on the Rim with the Rim Coalition and Planets Alliance? That taught me more. There are more uses for ysalamiri, crushed kyber, Tython stones, and powered phrik to fight monsters and summons that were left behind. On top of that? Blending some darker than pure Jedi Light side, it helps with fighting that which no one stays behind to find out.
The Scar Worlds, we've got a lot to work on, and I think we can move the galaxy into a brighter future.
