How does it work? Do you require an application or something?

Just click the "join group" button and you'll be a faction member! highly recommend joining the faction discord too, which should be linked on the about page.

I do not use Discord - is it a must-have?

Valkoryen Not necessarily, but Discord is where most faction discussion happens. Few factions period use the forum to communicate.

You will struggle to be involved in anything on this website without Discord.

Yes, highly recommend you join the discord due to some individuals only using it to communicate to others. Its also where we share things such as images, brainstorm ideas and the like. However, if you decide to not use it, you can always open a thread in the General discussion tab if you require help.
