Hello friends, and welcome to the new year!
I am

and this is the second news letter for the Empire of the Lost. You can read our first news letter here to catch up on our previous news and as of today I have begun an archive to catalogue these letters for new, or old users to catch up on, which you can find here. I am aiming to write one of these once per month, but as you might realise, there are slow months here or there, so occasionally we will be releasing news letters for multiple months throughout the year! I am sure you understand why. ♥
2024 was a big year for the Empire. It was our first full solid year on the board as a major faction. We were first founded sometime in 2023 (before my time back on the board, so I don't know the specifics) but throughout 2024 we established ourselves in the map game, and continued to solider on into the new year, which is an accomplishment in of itself. So congratulations to all our members, staff, and with thanks for the writers from other factions, and the individual elements throughout the board, who kept the EotL going and active throughout last year by contributing stunning posts, and unique characters. ♥♥♥

Also, before we get into the segments covered in this letter, I would like to wish you all a happy new years! I hope you enjoyed the holiday season throughout December, and had a good time celebrating the beginning of 2025. Both myself and the other members of staff here in the EotL are looking forward to bringing our members, and the wider communities across the board, brand new and engaging roleplay throughout the year.

Community Spotlight
The Javeline-class Strike Corvette is the latest addition to N&Z Umbrella Corporation's catalogue. Designed by our friend Credius Nargath this new ship is now available for purchase today! Perhaps we will see a few of them at our next conflict?
In the Codex I submitted a new piece of lore regarding the Maldra IV conflict between the late Tingel Arm Coalition and the Empire of the Lost: an invasion that we concluded last November!
In summary the New Imperial Security Bureau hacked a base (previously in the hands of TAC before they were defeated by the Empire) in order to gain access to it's data while bringing the military installation known as the Nest into the control of the Empire.

Mission to Malachor | EotL vs. Diarchy Skirmish on Malachor
Linking together current day events with the past Magenta set the scene of the skirmish inside a hidden storage facility that was first described in an old Dominion thread hosted by the late Ashlan Crusade all the way back in 2022!
The devious Fifth Wing leaked the existence of the vault (and it's treasure trove of artefacts) to Diarch Reign and his brother Diarch Rellik in order to lure them into Malachor V. Meanwhile, with thanks to the vault being discovered by the New Imperial Inquisition, the reigning Moff Council ordered that the facility be captured, and it's contents taken for the benefit of the Empire!
Unbeknownst to the Imperials the facility was suddenly attacked by the Diarchy therefore bringing the Empire into conflict with this new faction for the first time! As both sides scramble to plunder the vault for it's contents it is revealed that Diarch Reign has been lured into a trap orchestrated by Her and Maldor Mecetti in order to bring him into their plot to destroy the Jedi!

Expansion of the Empire.
Therefore the following Dominions are currently live and require all Imperials on deck to bring these planets into our domain!
Light Up the Void: Aftermath of Garn and Maldra IV [Empire of the Lost]
In the days leading up to the assault on Maldra IV Sieliel Dimegor of the Imperial Immortals (the special taskforce of the New Imperial Security Bureau) held a press conference outside of the NISB Headquarters in Lianna City detailing the seditious plot of the late Staff Director of the NISB Alicia Drey to bring the Empire of the Lost into conflict with the Sith Order during the Siege of Tion.
Later, as the Imperial Ruling Council gathered on board the Revenge to meet regarding the aftermath of their victory over the rebellion, questions came up regarding the ineffectiveness of the NISB to warn them about the superweapon that was detonated during the battle which resulted in many Imperial causalities.
This thread concluded our war with the Tingel Arm Coalition, which later went back to a minor faction, while continuing the Fifth Wing storyline. Will the Empire uncover the truth of the conspiracy that has infected it's military branches, or will the Sith succeed in their aims to revolutionize the Lost into a Sith Empire?
The Coronation of Kaanni Ugaiya Kilran: The Phantom Empress!
In the aftermath of the battle the Imperial Ruling Council learned of it's leaders last will and testament where his beloved daughter would succeed him as Empress and inherit all of his adorned titles, territories and forces that he accumulated during his reign as ruler of the Empire of the Lost!
The coronation of the new Phantom Empress will be live sometime later on this week. All dignitaries of the Empire, as well as other characters from across the galaxy, are invited to attend the coronation of our new leader as the Kilran dynasty continues to hold the Tingel Arm, and the other star sectors that it has invaded in it's grasp while the dream of our late and much beloved Emperor continues to be chased now by his daughter and her subjects as they aim to reconstitute the GALACTIC EMPIRE across the stars!
Well intrepid reader this is the end of the EotL's news letter for November and December 2024! Hopefully I will see more submissions for our community spotlight throughout January into February to share with you all, and to have a lot of content to summarize for my next news letter.

I hope that you are all enjoying the Fifth Wing stuff that I have been trying to put together over the past six months. There are a lot more stories to be told and I am hoping to bring a nice conclusion to the storyline this year that will be enjoyable for all involved. There are a lot more great ideas being cooked up by EotL staff over the past few weeks, and as the holiday season has died down to bring us back to our sense of normalcy, we will look to fine tune these ideas to bring more content to the board and our faction.
