Special Features:
*Blade Power Adjustment Knob – Lower or increase blade cutting power. Settings include: Training (stun/minor burns) & Normal/Standard
*Non-lethal - The saber's primary setting does damage similar to training saber + special effects below.
*Stunning effect - Blade tuned so it stuns organic life
*Electrical charge - Blade tuned to release electrical discharge to short out droids components.
*Pressure-sensitive grip - Depending on how the grip is triggered, it can adjust the length of the blade or shut it off altogether.
Strengths
*Big - Able to keep enemy at greater distance and hamper enemy from getting in range melee attacks, good for combating multiple opponents
*Balanced - Light enough to be used one-handed
*Phrik - Saber resistant casing and cross grip, protect saber and user.
Weaknesses
-Dull - Not a designed cutting blade, it can at max setting but is designed to stun or short out mostly
-Big - With a 45 cm hilt it can’t be easily concealed
-Unwieldy - Big blade at 160 cm, takes room to use without hitting objects or people around the user.
-Gets hot - Prolonged contact with another saber (Such as holding a block) can cause oversized cycling field energizers to overheat and burn the user's hands.
Description: Build on pacifist beliefs and Bryce's Hippocratic oath to do no harm “Dream Weaver” was created to fulfill the role of a non-lethal lightsaber. Never being one for convention Bryce fell in love with the “Greatsabers” he researched and decided to attempt to create one of his own in that vein.
Using common crystals along with Phink and Neutronium from Demonsgate, Bryce crafted “Dream Weaver” to be a weapon to subdue any and all attackers rather than kill them. Build in a Phink casting the great saber unitizes an oversized Diatium power cell which leads to the first crystal and primary factor in his sabers blade which is a flawed Adegan Kathracite crystal Bryce tuned through many meditations. Bryce chose this crystal on purpose as the nature of the crystal made it demonstrate poor qualities for a conventional saber but the flaws destabilized the blade so it's energy was released not as a cutting saber but more akin to a stun baton. Next the focusing crystal is a Firkrann crystal which is tuned to add an electrical discharge to the blade and short out mechanical threats through electrical overload upon contact.
The fact that both crystals were inherently unstable by nature required Bryce to upgraded the magnetic stabilizing ring and extend it past the handle creating the unique look of the upper handle and crossguards.The larger blade also required Bryce to pass the blade through an enlarged emitter to ensure it would work properly and hold a proper shape. Even with all these modifications the saber still had a bad habit of either shorting out and shocking the user. To correct this final flaw Bryce lined the assembly shroud in neuranium to absorb excess radiation and upgraded the cycling field energizers to handle the increased strain.
When first activated “Dream Weaver's” blade began to spark with energy from the Firkrann crystal. The blade is green color and cracks of green gold lightning that surrounded the blade. Its’ hum is deeper than most sabers and is like the purr of a great jungle cat. It's normal setting is that of a training blade but by adjusting the Blade Power Adjustment Knob it can be increased to a lethal max setting. One Bryce never likes to use.
The last feature is a pressure-sensitive grip. Which BB uses to adjust the length of the blade and perform the Trakata style of saber combat which one seeks and advantage by turning on and off their saber in mid strike or block.
