GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Description: The 107th Legion is a special forces Legion designated "Spooks" for their operations that work in conjunction, and many times directly with the Imperial Knights, as well as the Imperial Inquisition. Rapid Deployment of forces to face High Value Targets, or to perform operations that require an elite taskforce of individuals who are prepared to fight Force Using Individuals, or individuals who are also Elite combat units in nature. More often than not, the 107th Legion is never in one dedicated place, with deployments from Battalion Level to Squad Levels alongside other Legions that are operating with, around, or against Force Using individuals, Elite forces, or other Special operation requirements. With the Largest possible force being located on Adumar.

  • Combat Function: Primarily a Special Operations Legion of Troopers, Divisions, and Forces that are summed into one unit, the 107th Legion utilizes all available facets of combat, and the coming conflict to acheieve a singular goal of the Routing, Destruction, Apprehension, and Detention of High Value Targets. These Targets are typically of the Force Sensitive nature, or are otherwise Elite targets that are considered extremely hostile, or difficult to face in direct combat. The Largest seen combined force of the 107th, is the size of a Battalion being deployed alongside another Legion of forces. More often, Platoons are deployed along side an Imperial Knight, or Inquisitor in order to be an overwhelming force against one particular High Value Target. The Legion Itself is never seen in full Legion capacity at one singular location. At best, One detachment of a Regiment can be deployed over the surface of Adumar at one given time.​

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Since the conception, and official declaration of New Imperial Order, there has been a Special Operations unit. At first, it was of old Sith-Imperial Purge Commandos who had sided with the First Imperator, Irveric Tavlar of the very first insurrection against the Sith Empire. However, the forces of these Purge Commandos were split. Many siding with the Insurrectionists, while others stayed loyal to the Sith Empire. It was from their disbanding, that the 101st Nova Troopers were inducted as one of the first Special Operation Divisions within the New Imperial Order. Their actions were solely tied to the Inquisitors at first, and later as additional aid for Invasions, or dominations of planetary influences. Acting as guards, personal forces, or sent out on missions that a standard trooper was not prepared, or qualified for.

After the fall of the Sith Aligned New Imperials, in what would be later known as "Kyber Dark" came another group of Shadow troopers. Hunters of the Sith and Force using individuals. Mainly, were the first and only choice to hunt down any Sith who had been considered enemies of the Imperial Order. While they were no longer under the connection of the inquisition.

Since then, the Nova Troopers and Purge Commandos have been in the background without a real "Home" or otherwise legion that they were tied to. It was with the sudden appearance of one of the first Inquisitors, the Second Brother, that a Naval base on Adumar had been converted into a facility that would host, train, and support Special Operations such as these Purge Commandos, Nova Troopers and Shadow troopers. Unifying them into one of two trooper types.

The first and more well known is the Purge Troopers. Elite forces of Troopers tasked with taking on, and combating other elite forces, or even force users in a direct confrontation. Known for their "Shadow Trooper" styled armor with red markings. Named almost directly after troopers from the Galactic Empire that would be used by the Inquisitors as well as Darth Vader himself, to hunt down remaining Jedi, or guard temples, artifacts of Force related properties.

The second, is the Nova troopers. More tied to the aspect of Naval combat, or "Black Ops" where only a squad would perform in situations some would consider to be suicidal, or an extremely high chance of death. It was from the remains of two black ops or special operations units, that the 107th Legion was formed. A legion that is held in high regard for being known of existing, but not knowing what exactly they do in the shadows. Currently, the only known "Leadership," is that of the Imperial Knights, and the very few inquisition members. with these troopers seen almost always tagging along with them.

A secondary function is as an elite group of special forces that operate in conjunction with other Legions. Such as the case with the 501st legion performing a dominion upon a planetary government, the 107th would send a contingent of forces to aid them, under the context, of the 107th, being under the 501st direct command structure.

In the recent days of the War with the Imperials and the further growing of the Maw, Elite forces are in high demand against the Maw Marauders, or more likely, the inevitable fall out of some of the more powerful Galactic powers that be. This Legion will perform the tasks given to them without question, and with the upmost loyalty to the singular aspect of the Imperial Order's survival.

No matter, the cost.
