- Classification: Armored Assault
- Description: The 121st Armored Regiment was a large combat unit of the Union Ground Force. Comprised almost entirely of heavy ground assault vehicles, the 121st is a formidable unit. Supported by light infantry, they are able to overwhelm enemy forces. Lacking air support, starfighter squadrons may be called in to support the unit when being pinned down or to perform reconnaissance and clear the path ahead.
- Unit Size: Large
- Unit Availability: Common
- Unit Experience: Trained
- Equipment:
- Combat Function: Most of the time the 121st will work with the navy to provide support from the air. Through their use of infantry personnel, un urban environments, vehicles, especially the CAT-522, would be flanked on either sides by lines of infantry troopers
- Superior Firepower - Due to its composition of assault vehicles, the 121st can bombard and destroy enemy fortifications and gun down groups of infantry
- "Armor" - Manufactured by N&Z Umbrella Corporation and Have Gun Will Travel, the vehicles of the 121st are state of the art and able to resist bolts from most infantry weapons for a long period of time.
- Speed - Due to the unit's main composition of assault walkers and heavy tanks, the unit is slow, therefore when forced to retreat may be overcome by enemy forces.
- "Running Blind" - When not supported by an air force, the 121st is vulnerable to enemy air forces and relies on infantry scouts to patrol ahead of the convoy to locate enemy positions.
One of the first armored assault combat units of the newly formed Zweihander Ground force, the 121st is infamous throughout the Union for their bravery against several pirate and smuggler groups. When N&Z Umbrella Corporation and other various corporations introduced new weaponry and assault vehicles, the 121st were the first to aquire them and test them out in battle.
